I'm officially an adult. I loved this video as I've just took the plunge and bought one so wanted to see how it worked for when it arrives. Your home is beautiful! I couldnt believe you got all of that off just a quick clean...its making me realise that with a house of 4 dogs, 3 horses, plenty pairs of boots and shoes, 2 children and a super stressed me .. I'm going to probably have bales of dirt cleaned out. I'm excited! You're really engaging to watch so keep up the good work. Very simple explanations and a dose of humour to boot.
Just bought this on a black Friday deal. We have now have 3 sharks. Have to say this one has blown us away. Not sure if it's as good as the corded but definitely better than the cordless powered lift away we bought a couple of years ago. More power, pickup is amazing, slightly better edge cleaning and the flex technology is great. Having replaced our Dysons with these over the last 2 years, I can't see us going back. So much more value for the money and for me a deeper carpet clean.
Shark has done it! They’ve made a cordless vacuum that makes sense to me including a nice attachment package where I can see it as a useful tool. I could see myself using this machine as an electricbroom everyday and using it to clean upholstery and dust furniture on others. Nicely conceptualized package Excellent unboxing review Roger.
As usual with stick vacuums, they give you a whole load of attachments and they don’t go anywhere on the vacuum. So the result is you can’t just switch between fittings without carrying the Shark bag with you! I means it’s still dumb and inconvenient. On the other hand, the same equivalent corded can have he fittings mounted on it for instant access to the right tool. So +1 for the anti hair wrap technology and -1 for being as dumb as. Dyson or any other stick.
I would love some information about the time/ power in different modes: - In hardfloor setting - In carpet setting - In boost I want to compare this to the Dyson V10 which have the following... - Hardfloor low setting 15.8v (60 minutes) - Carpet normal setting 33.8v (30 minutes) - Boost 151v (9-10 minutes)
We have this vacuum cleaner, too. We love it besides some small things that could be improved. But overall, it´s great for lots of situations and cases. And without the main brush role it´s very handy for cleaning walls, ceiling edges or furniture. Actually quite lightweight. The main brush is heavy, but very comfortable to handle on the ground. You can actually really steer it in every edge and with the flexible pipe you can easily clean under sofas or furniture without straining hard. Suction power is very good in any mode and the batteries last quite long. Only downside for me is the wheels of the main roll brush. We have a badly soundproofed floorboards and the rolling sound of the wheels (obviously solid rubber or soft plastic) doesn´t help. But well, on the other hand the noise of the engine itself isn´t more quiet than our old device and there´s no seperated engine component that you rumble around.
Do they say what is carpet cleaning performance class ? In the next video could you say more about wight, if your arm hurt after cleaning. I hope they will do corded one as well. Thanks
Already have an older model Duo Clean corded and will have to last a few years yet. With that in mind, what would people recommend as a companion, for everyday light use, cordless, but a max budget of around £80, so probably hoping for a special offer.
A great introduction to a new machine Roger, but I wish you had judged the straight suction power with your hand. I know you will be doing a more thorough review, but it would be of interest given it's new design.
Ignore bijal.. he seems to forget that suction does not automatically assume strength of pick up. Suction requires airflow to work. Anyway, pretty sure the amount of hair and dirt Roger collected from his supremely clean home proves that no matter how strong the suction .. it beats all others so far.
I recenty got an ion P50 which is fantastic even though i would have liked to see the smaller tooks to click instead of being friction fit. Its neat that Shark did consider it on this one.
How long do you get from each setting, wood flooring and carpet ? I was looking at the dyson v10 but it’s just 25minutes with only one battery that isn’t hot swappable 😟
First of all Merry Christmas Rodger I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a blessed New year I have the corded version of this in the United.it was last year's model before they switched over the design but I love it it works really well.
Cool review mate and yeah it's quite obvious the Shark is a more-than-capable cleaner these days. I recently tested the Shark IZ251 on my channel and found the results to be a mixed bag, but overall decent!
I took the plunge and brought this. I have to say I don’t seem that impressed with it at the moment. Apart from battery life it doesn’t seem to pick up any better than the V6 animal
Just a quick question please, my floor nozzle light is white and yours is green, model No IZ251UKTDB. Sorry it's a daft question 🤣 it turns red when there's an issue.
Ours in the US is a bit different it doesn’t have duo clean and there’s an awfully big gap in the front which I kind of hate also I don’t like how you cannot take the container out to clean it
You should be able to take the container off. I've played with one and there is an 'eject' button on the side of the nozzle up against the dust bin and I was able to get it off. Hope this helps. :)
Is the Shark Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum [Double Battery IZ252UK similar to IZ320UKT Shark Powerfins Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum Cleaner 2 Battery. I am considering both but would like advice.
I have a Dyson cordless (can't remember the model) about 2 years old. I was happy with it but wanted a cheaper hoover to use upstairs due to only getting 20 mins battery usage with the Dyson, I only just manage to finish downstairs then had to charge it again before I could do upstairs! Anyway, I bought this same Shark vacuum yesterday and was shocked to see how good it is on thick(ish) carpets. It really plushes the pile up which the dyson doesn't do very well. I feel like my carpets are getting a much deeper clean now. The suction feels more powerful than the dyson. The Shark pulls itself along which makes me think it's more powerful t, almost like an upright, and you have to use more effort to pull it back. Sadly the downside is it's much bigger, much heavier and (in my opinion!) not as pretty and modern looking as the Dyson. But performance wise this Shark blows the Dyson out of the water. I never ever thought I'd say that! One more thing, Shark offer a 5 year warranty similar to Dyson. Edit: I forgot to mention, the motorised pet hair tool is a million times better than Dyson's pet motor head. Dyson has bristles, Shark has sort of rubber(?) blades. They are extremely effective at picking up pet hair from pet baskets, sofas etc.
Do you know who posts it internationally because at the moment it seems to be only available in Europe? How good can it pick up sugar from carpet and how good it is sealed to help to reduce allergy?
Is it gentle on high pile carpet though? As my current cordless is absolutely shredding my high carpet ie sprigs are coming up as my machine is way too aggressive . So I'm think of getting this x
Hello- does this work well gliding from tiles to high pile carpet? I currently use a red Henry which I love for the level of cleanliness I get but it’s so heavy and cumbersome to move around- this just looks dreamy in comparison and if it gives similar results I’ll be purchasing one!
This works well on longer pile carpet unlike many other vacuum cleaners I’ve tested. I recently bought a new plush pile carpet for my living room and it’s the only cordless I’ve used that works well on it. Going from the living room to kitchen floor is easy, you just have to slide the switch to the hard floor setting.
Hi, I am torn between this model, the Shark IF260UKTH and the Dyson V11. Various price points but in your opinion which would you go for given these choices? Thanks in advance 👍
Hi ibaisaic, thanks for this awesome video. Do you think that this vacuum cleaner is still a good option nowadays, or are there any better cordless vacuum cleaners on the markets (at this price tag)? Thanks!

Good review very helpful, but definitely not 100% anti hair wrap as I’ve just bought one and after vacuuming the bedroom carpets for the first time with this I found hair wrapped around the brush roller, bit annoying but still seems to be a good vacuum cleaner so far and carpets look great.
Shark claim that the anti hair wrap feature is designed to work as the cleaner is being used and won’t stop the hair from wrapping around the roller completely.
I've been waiting for this cleaner head technology to get to the P90. Duo Clean without zero-m is barely worth it with having to dig the hair out of the unremovable brushroll. I refuse to get another shark in the family till they remedy this 🤷♂️

The Anti Hair Warp is an amazing feature which may give Dyson, Vax and other brands a run for their money!
How long did the battery really last?
My daughter bought one of these for her first home. Looks like she made a good choice.
I’m so excited to see an in depth review and demonstration of this model!!!
How well does it work on spider webs and cobwebs. Best demonstration ever!
Good question as the Dyson are usually more powerful in handheld mode for cobwebs etc
