Thanks to your review I bought the Shark IZ300EUT and am very happy with it. The machine lifts very fine dust from the carpets even in the medium setting. Only disadvantage is its weight and machine is quite loud.
So I just bought a Dyson V15 and sent it straight back due to the infamous “Clean filter” error every 5 mins. It’s a known issue and their appears to be a lot of faulty units. Going to get this Shark model instead as it looks like it’s just a much better machine. Also really like the fact you can put it into “Storage” mode and that you don’t have to change heads when moving from carpet to hard floor. Cheers for this review 🙂
Great series Roger, have loved watching the vids before bed time. Just don't know what it is about you and your reviews that I find so therapeutic. Much appreciate all the work you put it to make these reviews. Looking forward to the next one.
Love how thorough you are with your reviews. This was by far the one review that helped me finally decide which Shark I wanted. I've decided on the Shark Vertex Pro Stick Vacuum. Thank you so much!!
just great , been using for past six months , cleans so well . I run on max power as its just as quick as eco as you dont need to go back and forth so much. My whole family fight over who will use next. My electric Miele has been consigned to a cupboard.
Roger, your reviews and “user guide” type content is such good quality. We ordered this machine (currently on offer) and it’s so useful knowing it inside out before even opening the box. Just waiting for the battery to charge now!
@@tracker1009 We’re pleased with it. It’s our first cordless and is noticeably lower power than mains cleaners we’ve had, which we probably should have anticipated! We have managed to block it a couple of times too but we have kids and are quite messy so probably hoover up more big bits than we should. Overall though we’re pleased with it, it folds down nicely and sits in a corner and is much easier to just grab than a mains machine.
Hi Roger,, been a great week, thanks for all the time you put into the videos and all the behind the scenes time it takes to be able to upload to UA-cam. Thank you Miss Daisy for your generous donations.. You are so adorable. 🙂
Those PowerFins really do seem like they beat the crap out of those fibers. In fact, the rumble of the fins do brings back a lot vintage Hoover vibes. No doubt the PowerFin heads are deep cleaners. Plus, it’s nice to see Shark giving the consumer a choice in terms of cordless upright preference. Wish others would take a page out of Sharks book.
Thanks so much for a very informative video. We just bought this machine yesterday as an ‘upstairs’ machine as our main Dyson machine weighs a ton to lug up and down the stairs. Used it just the once but found it very straightforward to use and, as you said, it does pick up lots of dirt. A suggestion for you. Before you spread all of your rice, lentils and sand on the floor why not weight it on kitchen scales and then reweigh the contents of the Shark machine once you have finished your demonstration. It would give you idea of how effect the machine is. Thanks again. Gary Brown
@@heckyesitsjess84 it's similar to the corded shark except the battery is terrible, I don't recommend buying it. They advertise 60 minutes of use but it lasted 25 minutes for me on medium power with the brush roll activated.

Thanks for the video Roger. I would love a comparison to last years model vs this new IZ300UKT. I bought the IZ201UKT about two months ago and now regret my decision seeing this new model.
Hello, Would you be able to tell me how long the battery lasts for please? I've bought this machine and the battery life seems to be for about 20 minutes instead of the 60 minutes they claim .
As with all cordless vacuums, the longest runtime quoted is when using the cleaner on the lowest power setting without a motorised tool. 20 minutes seems about average when using the main head on the medium setting.
Totally agree the winner is a great cleaner. I recently bought the pet model of the cordless upright cleaner and have no complaints. Really enjoyed Shark week. Will you consider doing a dyson week in the future? 👍🏻
I received this Shark vacuum cleaner as a replacement when my previous model malfunctioned. However, I am disappointed that it cannot be charged while the battery is inserted. This means that I have to keep the docking station on my counter, which is not convenient at all.
If you have the model in this video you can charge the battery when it’s removed from the cleaner, in the dock if supplied or when the battery is fitted to the cleaner. I explain this in the video.

Can you tell me the difference between this model and the IZ3000UK as I got this model and it was more expensive and you only get one battery and no pet tool, feel like I've been ripped off, I never even seen the option for the machine your showing

Two other models are available, one with two batteries and no pet tool and the top model with two batteries plus the pet tool.
