This video is what every customer needs - manager explained all the nuances step by step, very clear! Was very helpful for me and husband to decide. We've been choosing between Dyson V8 Absolute and this model Shark IZ202UKT. They are quite comparable by technical parameters but price range is huge (189 pounds for Shark vs 399 pounds for Dyson)! We bought Shark, tested it on all the surfaces (fluffy carpet, flat carpet, laminate) and are very delighted with the result! We rent 1 bedroom flat and this hoover is very compact, easy to storage in the cabinet with the mop and other cleaning stuff + no need to make any holes in walls since flat is rented. Thank you for the video, all you said about this hoover is true!
Can u please tell me that how this Shark vacume is in pick up of long hairs,as my daughter’s and my hairs fall on carpet after brushing and I need vacume which can pick up hairs.
@@UmmeHani2008 Sorry for the late reply! yes, this Shark definitely can deal with long hair. I have quite long hair (waist level when loosen) and no problems with hoovering at all. Also important to admit is that hair don't wrap around the brush and stuck, but goes straight to its small bin container.
@@Rocketann We have the same machine and it does a superb job of not getting hair wrapped around the turbo. Every other machine I have had before the Shark required manual cleaning of the turbo with a pair of scissors and it was a really messy job.
I don't usually comment on UA-cam videos, but this was really useful as I recently bought the IZ202UKT and wanted to find out about emptying etc. Really well explained and as others have mentioned, I didn't get bored! Much easier than reading all the instructions! Thank you 😀
I have this model hoover. It has a turbo boost button. If you use turbo regularly, the pipe in the swivel section can block totally after 4 months or so. It is easy to clean by simply popping open the pipe at the swivel joint and pulling out the fluff. It is very powerful for a battery hoover.
Bought this model replacing our old Dyson v6. Thanks for this brilliant video, it arrived this morning and was so helpful to have a full rundown while I was waiting for shark to charge up 🤣
Great video! A cordless vacuum is LIFE CHANGING, especially if you have a lot of hardwood or other hard floors. I have a Prettycare cordless and I swear I can vacuum my entire place in less than 10 minutes at least 4 times between charges. Love it! Have a great week
I have Shark Duo Clean model and I am absolutely amazed with it and today I just ordered this exact same model, same colour just because it’s on sale! I can’t miss any opportunity with Shark because they have amazing quality products! And your explanations are amazing. Good job!🎉
Shark are a good vacuum. I have a iz300ukt. The bending on the wand also makes it handy to go under couches and bed without having to bend your back. Also the Truepet tool is great for the couch, car and carpet on the stairs.
Great review, and guidance! Had already purhased the Sharp Ant Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum IZ202UK, and was getting a headache trying to follow the small print and diagrams. Then I came across your very clear youtubed guidance. Great! Thanks.
Brilliant video and so helpful thank you so much! You explained it so much better than the instructions manual and all your handy little tips are just fab! Ive just got the IZ202UK and have just used your video to set it all set up for use - I love it , it cleaned the whole house in no time. 5 Stars for your video thank you! :)
Buy a spare set of filters is just about the best advice ever. I have bought my mother and sister numerous cleaners at massive expense. They have not maintained the filters ever.
People throw them out because they stopped working properly & it's FREQUENTLY just blocked filters. Often... a secret hidden 2nd filter. READ THE MANUAL people!!
Thank you for the video, very helpful and easy to follow , I was a little daunted by the written manual but your instructions are much clearer and I am now much more confident in operating my new Shark.
I've bought numerous Faulty IZ400uk range heads & motorised brushes for spares. Folks are using cordless uprights for cleaning garage/shed muck & building rubble. STOP!! You can't expect a 3cm diameter ½kilo motor to do heavy duty cleaning like a Numatic George or Henry 13 cm 5 kilo motor!! These are home use only for general household dust & crumbs!! NEVER hoover damp or wet spills as either the wet will short the motor, or damp sticky food etc will CLOG the motor & dry & harden, jamming the motor!! Shark don't sell many spare parts & actually make the vacs & heads VERY difficult to dismantle. Treat you cordless uprights with care & respect & have a Numatic for heavy cleaning work. I always have 2 vacs simply because hoovering filters out prolongs vac life & keeps suction at full efficiency for longer & you don't have to wait for filters to dry out. Some people don't wash their filters properly, so the dust coagulates & actually makes the filter worse than before it got wet!!
Thank you so much for this video, like you I found the instructions unhelpful. I was able to perform maintenance on my Shark after watching you brilliant
Thank you for taking time to make this video, l got this hoover recently and I am just going through various reviews as I am not 100% sure I want to keep it as it is too heavy for me. I have problems with my hands and it really tires me out. Tried Dyson v12 in the shop and it was so much lighter ! But also so much more expensive ! I have a lot of thinking to do :(
Just purchased this machine today. Can't wait to try it out when the wife gets home from work! Looks really good based on your video review! One question though, can it be used while the charger is plugged in while the battery is attached to the machine; effectively turning it into a corded vacuum?
Unfortunately these vacuums can't be used when plugged in and charging. Good idea but at the moment it's not possible. Hope you enjoy your new vacuum 👍
@@lords-electrical Thanks for your reply. Just tested it on a dirty rug and hard floor and I am AMAZED at how thorough it cleans. I like how the rubber bars beat the dust out of the floor while the brushes sweep the dust into the bin. Also thanks to the anti-wrap the brushbar doesn't have any hairs wrapped around it. And also what I really like is that it can be folded over for storage without having to have it propped against a wall. Really happy with the purchase!
Thanks for this. got the iz202uktdb which has the car cleaning kit too. I really like it, although it is annoying that theres no where to put yhe crevice device, would be nice to have a slot on the stick so its in easy reach as while hoovering i have to stop mid room to get it, or have it in my pocket. I will zip tie it but would be a nice feature. Also battery is a 2 year warranty, which is fair. I was also impressed that buying from shark directly meant the warranty was done already, i tried to register it and was told it was done aha! Lovely little hoover. Helps me as it feels like it pulls forwards and back for me, perfect as i have disabilities and not much strength. Great hoover. Havent tried yhe car stuff yet but everything seems amazing!x
That is why Shark supply a small carrier bag to store the tools as there is nowhere on-board to store them. My wife actually likes this as it makes the cleaner lighter, but I do agree if you want to use a certain tool you have to carry it on your person.
I can't decide whether to get this or the corded HZ500UK. I've been considering the pros and cons of both but I still can't decide! Long term I'm thinking getting this one and replacing the battery in a couple years time. But the corded is apparently more powerful and it's convenient not having to wait for it to charge. Which one do you prefer?
They are both great vacuums, but if you are after a vacuum for occasional light pickup go for the cordless, if you are after more of a heavy duty deaper clean, then corded will normally be the best.
Hi! Sorry if you've answered this, does the roller brush come out? I've cleaned it after turning and removing the plate with 3 grey screws, but still looks messy ( the plastic that covers the brush roller at the front), many thanks!
Really good video for a very good cordless vacuum. The one issue I have is that dog hair has accumulated in the small front wheels and I can see no way to extract it. Can you offer any advise?
This kind of thing can be frustrating with a lot of manufacturers. The only way is to be careful and use a knife or scissors to remove the hair effectively
Thank you for very informative video, I'm looking at 202ukt vs 400ukt mainly for hard floors and pet fluff and long hair. Any suggestion would be appreciated. This one looks way better to be honest and seems lighter and more compact.
Must be honest i haven't compared the 2 different styles, but in theory the models with 2 heads should be more effective at the pickup ability and also not getting the hair tangled around the roller heads.
Wanted see how hand held anti hair wrap works on stairs have just got this model but find it's very hard to use on stairs drags on carpet when trying to push backwards and forwards on the stairs I phoned up today but assistant thinks you can only push one way not backwards n forwards on the stairs ,please let me know as it's not smooth to use on stairs it drags on carpet . My daughter says the same as she has this vac aswell.
Are you using the mini-turbo tool? I clean my stairs regularly with it (using the mini-turbo tool) and can't say I've really had an issue. One issue I have noticed when using the main floor tool is that hair can sometimes get trapped in the little wheels at the front so they don't rotate well, which can lead to dragging as you mentioned. Using a small pair of scissors to remove these hairs can help.
Hi I'm new to your channel and I have the anti hair Wrap IZ202UKT,,only had 8 weeks but the small wheels have what looks like bits of carpet,,which is strange cause personally I don't think it that powerful,,,,have you any videos on how to get the '',hair"" of the small wheels,,Thank you in advance
How are you supposed to get the roller out to clean it properly?? Video shows absolutely nothing towards this. I would never recommend a shark hoo er to anybody for that teason alone. Should just ynclip so it can be cleaned properly
You can get at the roller, but it seems to involve a lot of unscrewing! Have a look at this video I found: ua-cam.com/video/zt0NULuEbPk/v-deo.htmlsi=WW4OFGRxdI13JQ7I

Great video! Thankyou so much! How often would you say you have to clean the filters?
I would recommend on average approx every 1-2 months depending on how dirty they get and how often the vacuum is used
So informative and great tip to purchase additional filters.
Looks like the main brush head has big gaps at either side of the brush which would make it bad at picking up dirt from carpets along walls.

You are normally looking around 3-4 hours
How can I clean the head glass ?

How do I turn it into a hand held please
Just remove the wand from the main body of the vacuum, attach the tools then you're ready to go
