Takin any board game suggestions?? :D I've been trying to find more live gameplay of "Feed The Kraken". Team-based, social deduction board game similar to Secret Hitler, The Resistance, etc. It's pirate-themed, a bit more complicated than Secret Hitler, and throws in a 3rd faction who works on their own at first, but can grow the Kraken cult's following as the game progresses.
"Joke of the day" gradually morphing into "Boat of the day," "boat of the bay," and finally "boat of the boat" was my favorite running gag in the episode, second to the mere existence of "pretty boat for a boat boat"
He went from playing multiple rounds of short Games so he could rack up multiple wins in 1 episode, to playing this and getting completely ganged up on... Utter brilliance from Adam
I'd love to see you guys play Taverns of Tiefenthal! That's one of my favourite games right now! I'm currently waiting for my copy of the Skyrim Adventure game to be delivered and I'm really looking forward to it!!
I wasn't sure if I would get too invested in this game: I tend to prefer more story or character-oriented ones like Betrayal at House on the Hill or Nemesis. Then you named the boats. And with that, I was instantly hooked.
It is much harder to get non-gamers to the table for games like that. I was just thinking this game is perfect as a game to get casual players to the table without being too much on the "party" or silly game side.

After the episode I just watched which was "Secret Identity" I have no idea if Laurie choosing to name his boat "Orange Thunder" as a dig at Rosie or not. Her reveal of where she thought Thunder came from was hilarious.
I'm about to be in the hospital for a while and this is the last thing I'm deciding to watch. NRB can almost always put me in a better mood. Thank you all for being funny and chill and just a pleasure to watch

With the need to win a game and an entire group wishing to see him suffer trought Monopoly, Adam chooses a game where the majority have power. I feel he wants to play Monopoly too. And I've wrote this before watching the video, that's how I'm sure where it's going to end.
Not even half way and this video is derailing so fast with the boat puns just turning into saying boat related words strung together in a sentence 😂😂 the chaos I subbed for for sure
The point where Rosie gets kicked out twice in a row is one of my favorite parts: 28:42. Rosie being agitated, for good reason, Blair with a strong (and truthful) comeback, Adam to offer a helping hand after backstabbing her earlier and Rosie having none of it. It's a mean game and you're playing it as such.
Sometimes I lay in bed awake, thinking, wondering if Sullivan's persona of lovable goof is carefully crafted by him, the seventh best actor in the world, and he is secretly Piers Morgan behind the scenes.
Behind the Scenes commentary of that comment: I momentarily forgot Piers Morgan when trying to write that comment (Imagine such bliss) and was shanghaied into googling "shitty British news personality". Surprisingly, Piers Morgan was only the second result. The first was someone named Katie Hopkins. I have high hopes for finding out who this might be to dethrone Piers Morgan.
Ok, I have to ask, who is the handsome man with the fabulous moustache who greets us as we enter the cafe? Why isn't he playing the games with you? Bring him on board.
Amazing chaotic episode, loved it. Can anyone tell me was the botc in person episodes from the kickstarter on able to watch on patreon. I thought they were out in October?
This is 100% a simplified, gamified version of American politics, right down to the electoral college in the "if you have more of your color meeples in a boat, your vote counts more there". And the fact that it's infamously a toxic, lose-your-friends sort of game should tell us something about the state of American politics...
Laurie "Why am i locked into not getting anywhere in this game", well its a macrocosm model of life and its moddeling the "If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster and treat those two impostors just the same", If by Rudyard Kipling into example so don't praise yourself unduly or give yourself a hard time most of everything is blind chance.
Oh but the more you ask 'why me' the more the universe gives your reasons to ask the question, i think its something about collapsing probability eigenstates, observer affected reality kind of idea.

Adam: You're my best friend!
Sully: I've never met this man in my life
@@somecallmetim4490 because it plays out like a scene in the movie Thor Ragnarok, so I used Loki's response from the scene to make the association
Oh boy oh boy, this just came out and I can already feel us one episode closer to the inevitable Monopoly Movie Marathon.
Yea 😂
i desperately want to see the monopoly run
Rosie is singlehandedly trying to force Adam to play those monopoly games and I love it :D
I mean Issac gave a good shout towards that when he was on, but it's been a while since Adam got a good loss run in
Boat-el California is definitely Boat of the Day!
Also, the secret to comedy is "get there first, or else you stole the joke."
⛵ Boat of the Bay! ⛵
I love Joke of the Day slowly becoming more and more absurd and surreal
Gotta love the tactical brilliance of Adam playing a game where the other players can actively gang up on him in a time where his winning is crucial 😅
He went from playing multiple rounds of short Games so he could rack up multiple wins in 1 episode, to playing this and getting completely ganged up on...
Utter brilliance from Adam
Rosie continues to be pure chaos and I continue to be absolutely here for it!
She came to have a good time not a safe time
I've been binging this channel for 3 months now and I finally caught up and I'm beginning to regret watching all the videos that quickly 😭
Im in your same lifeboat
I dod the the exact same thing (tho im still caching up on their blood on the clocktower vid so that good atleat)
You can watch them a second time. Like me. Or even twice on YT AND once uncut on Patreon.
I'd love to see you guys play Taverns of Tiefenthal! That's one of my favourite games right now! I'm currently waiting for my copy of the Skyrim Adventure game to be delivered and I'm really looking forward to it!!
Looks like we're all in the same BOAT.
Adam being put down one by one by his “friends” then recovering his ego by bullying Blair 😂
The two things that bring Tom happiness are the wilderness and amazing boat puns 😂
Just a thought. WHEN Adam plays his favorite game of all time (monopoly) Blair should make random appearances as magical girl Mr. Monopoly.
Welp this didn't age well 🤣
Why did this not age well? I have not long found this channel so not all caught up.
@gconnor18 there was a bet for Adam to play monopoly, but Adam won and didn't need to play monopoly.
This absolutely showcases the diversity of the word Boat
You mean it boatcases the boatsity of the boat boat?
I wasn't sure if I would get too invested in this game: I tend to prefer more story or character-oriented ones like Betrayal at House on the Hill or Nemesis.
Then you named the boats.

The last game of the year has to be Diplomacy WITH Dom. It just has to be.
Genuinely not enough love for Blair's "Get on Boat!"
Absolutely LOVE Rosie being back! She cracks me up with her wild side.
Genuinely interested to know the 'boat' to 'any other word' ratio in this episode.
I feel like half the dictionary has been replaced, and "boat" is now entirely meaningless because it's omnisemantic...
@@IceMetalPunk "Omnisemantic" that's a word I've never heard before, but it's a good one for sure :V

I can already see the Monopoly Madness impending, and we have just started...
ETA: Tom's puns are amazing! So many Boats of the Bay!
How did Laurie not win Joke of the Day immediately for RNL-Hi?
LAURIE: It's a sham competition
Some brilliant jokes slip under the radar - Jon Gracys Mine Camp (Mein Kampf) one during Secret Hitler is an example
Or Laurie's Rickie Lake being a line in pretty boat for a boat boat joke going over even Tom's head. I thought it was clever
The ' Blair, just try not to fx yourself ' has me in stitches
after hearing the instructions, I can see this going bad very quickly lmao
Adam may have lost this game, but he continues to win our hearts.
00:39 Adam sounds like he was forced to say that🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣

Is he really pying the others for each game ? Seems weird
I love Tom just deadpan "There are no secrets to comedy" Truly a legend.
Got to love this time of the week.

I have been waiting for you to play this since the 10 meanest board games video.
Loved the meet the boats section was smiling the entire time I was watching it
Seeing how everyone gangs up on Adam kinda makes me want to see them play Twilight Imperium... especially if Adam plays one of the "evil" factions.
i want them to play "fury of dracula" with adam being dracula.
This was a punderful episode. Thanks, Tom.
Oh god why was Sully's "nice to meet you too" so gravely
Lovely episode of the Boat Game Club
This seems like a game that could cause Mario Party/Monopoly-esque incidents in a group. And I love it
"That's you boat of the boat" had me in pieces. The delivery was impeccable
"Boatel California" is an admittedly great pun, 10/10
After the episode I just watched which was "Secret Identity" I have no idea if Laurie choosing to name his boat "Orange Thunder" as a dig at Rosie or not. Her reveal of where she thought Thunder came from was hilarious.
become a patron if only to see the moment the red she-devil was named. that got me so good

12:25 - "Get on Boat". Get on BOARD! You BOARD a boat. It's right fucking there Blair.
19:50 - QuizzleMania callback with the "How many rounds are there?"
Rosie’s smile every time Laurie says “she-devil” through his teeth is amazing
Loved this. Seems like the mean ones are always the best ones 😂
I had a shitty job interview today. I needed this nonsense
Where's Jon Gracey when you need him, singing "6 months in a leaky boat" by Split Enz. Would love to see this played with secret voting.
"I'm not threatening! Why does everyone think I'm threatening!" - shouts Blaire, threateningly. I love that bit.
😂 I love how “Boat” became their “Smurf”!
I always think of the smurfs when someone starts replacing lots of different words with one word so I was looking for this comment
59:42 - 1:00:05 I want to clip this. Such a perfect sound bite. It's great for any sort of situation really. Flawless.

Unless I missed something, did no one fancy the obvious… Sullivan Boat Brown?
Well, that sounds like Balderdash to me 😉
@@the_tea_genasi the worst bit is, I didn’t even realise it was mine during the Balderdash video 🤣
