Same, and somehow every time I watch this I end up absolutely certain that Pat is a facist and Ashley is Hitler. I think what most likely throws me off every time is Pat like, constantly addressing Ashley in a way that seems like a facist trying to support Hitler, when in fact it was probably a ruse to create exactly that sort of impression, which was only made stronger by Simone pointing it out.
My biggest character flaw is that i blindly trust pat and bdg so i always guess wrong in these hidden role games. Because i always believe them to be telling the truth no wonder how incriminating the evidence against them is.
They’re both very trustworthy bc they both are fairly attractive. You trust an attractive face more therefore you naturally trust Pat and Brian. Plus, they both give off an aura of trustworthiness and are both good at logic puzzles and can use that skill as an advantage in hidden role games that often require logical thinking to count cards and evaluate arguments.
Jeff has always been described as the most guilty-looking innocent player in these hidden role games because he can't stop talking and isn't usually the bad guy. Conversely, Clayton is the most innocent-looking guilty player, because he tends to keep quiet and explain the rules to everyone, so people trust him. @@cormacabbey2404 Not really as Hitler doesn't necessarly know his fascists from the beginning (in a 7+ player game). In a 5 player game that holds true
@@cormacabbey2404 It is simply not true that "An even game is a win for fascists". Let's say there are 4 blue and 4 red on the board, a typical situation for the 1st kill. Then the deck has 7 red and 2 blue. If fascists go for rejecting all nominations and picking random cards off the top, their chance of winning is (7/9) * (6/8) = 58.3%, which is only a hair above 50%. It's a good fallback strategy if things don't go their way, but for a decent chance to win they actually have to convince at least 1 liberal to trust them. Basically exactly like in any other part of the game. In fact, there are rare situations where fascists can lose even when they're a majority (if there are 3 liberals in a row who all reject, or if Hitler is president and draws 2 blue, etc.)
@@bitcoinisrael1000 No if it is even then the fascist are more likely to win because the deck is so heavily favoured for fascist. What you're also forgetting is that if the fascist has the shot they could have very easily thrown a liberal policy so then it's actually only 1 left in the deck. If the fascists get a majority they always win as they reveal themselves as fascist and elect hitler as chancellor. Even if they did get 3 lib policies they can just veto the cards and try again.
@@scottydog771 "More likely to win" is true, and a far cry from "a win for fascists" which was what Cormac said. The odds could be higher than I stated if a blue was thrown etc, but it's still far from certain victory. So in an even game, fascists still want to maintain the lie to increase their odds. As for majority fascists - read again what I said. The Fascists could elect Hitler, *if* one of them gets to be president! But with 9 players, even after 2 liberals are killed, there are still 3 liberals remaining. And the position around the table could be that they are all in a row, and the first in that row gets to start the round. If the liberals figure out who the fascists are, they can simply elect within themselves, and all the fascists can do is reject. And after 3 rejections, a random card is drawn off the top, which could be blue. With 7 players it's a bit more interesting. You can't have 3 liberals in a row (after 2 are dead), but you can have Hitler followed by 2 liberals. Hitler doesn't know who the liberals are. The Fascists can come out as Fascists... But so can the liberals! The liberals can claim they are in fact Fascists, in order to confuse Hitler. And if both pairs say the same things, Hitler doesn't know for sure. And he could choose a liberal. The fascists will approve (the alternative is even worse for them) and if there are 2 blue cards (with 1 required for a liberal win), the liberals win. Or it could be Hitler followed by 2 Facists. If he accidentally chooses a liberal, the liberals (and Hitler) will approve, leading to the same result. So, as I said, with a majority of Facists, a liberal win is highly unlikely and requires the stars to align just right, but it's not impossible. (There is no need to consider the case of 3 blue here, because that's impossible if only 1 blue card is needed for liberal win. And if more than 1 blue is required, then all of this is irrelevant, because then the Facists are indeed guaranteed an opportunity to elect Hitler. Also, if Hitler is followed by a fascist and liberal, the fascists win; while Hitler doesn't know who among the following players is fascist, he knows that one of them is, as they will each deny being in the same team as the other. So he can reject his own nomination, and whoever is the fascist will elect him and win).
I love this game. It's so much fun with more people. I played a game where I was a fascist and played a liberal law early in the game to earn trust. I got super lucky and was president when the fascist law passed that allows the president to look at someone elses card to see if they're a liberal or fascist - I picked the guy who was Hitler which was easy to explain because the liberals were absolutely convinced they knew it was him so I said I would, as a fellow 'liberal,' set the record straight and acted super shocked and told everyone that Hitler was actually a liberal. They believed me and then I managed to convince everyone to vote in Hitler to win the game. No one trusted me again in the rest of the games we played that night and I was shot in the next game. It was one of the best game nights I've ever been to.
You should have seen a game I've played where I was fascist and had almost undisputed trust from the liberals because people put their trust in me too easy. I managed to tell Hitler that i was one of her fascists within the first 5 minutes, and later on, convinced a liberal president not to kill Hitler, but to kill one of her liberal teammates instead. Eventually, the presidency came around to a liberal who trusted my advice to pick Hitler as chancellor and we won. Another favorite game of mine was a 7 player game where I convinced one liberal to trust me and my fascist team and Hitler unconditionally. We completely destroyed the game and won, and the liberal player i used to win didn't talk to me for a week, she was so mad! Both of these games happened with 7 players, it's my personal favorite amount of players.
Just by the name I don’t know the game or anything about it, but it disgusts me. It’s soooo disrespectful and creates a stereotype of Germans being nazis. Especially in America where many people don’t know a lot about others history or even geography just the name is so dangerous...
I agree. But I also wonder how much their game would change if they had a few more players, especially if there are two fascists aiding Hitler and Hitler doesn't know who they are.
"You just said you felt good about me!" "But then you started talking." That's just politics! "So I'm saying either he's good or he's Hitler." And that's just online life.
@@tjmv1183 I watchecd the entire thing, then read the comment and went back to check wether or not I actually spend 40 minutes watching this instead of doing homework
@27 min in The power to shoot was taken away since no one voted for him to be president. That spot on the board just becomes a dead spot. You got to shoot someone for free :S
I haven't played Secret Hitler, but these types of hidden role games can certainly be very stressful, but also very exhilarating. Though I can see how the stress might not be for everyone.
Wtf is with people in the comments objecting to the game on the basis it has 'Hitler' in it? If you can't even talk about Fascism how on earth do you expect to fight it? The fascists are very clearly coded as bad here, the game is clearly not designed to be pro-fascist.
Since the other comments have been deleted, I just wanted to reiterate that it's valid for people to feel uncomfortable about a game that casually puts "Hitler" or "Nazi" in the title, particularly in the current political climate. Games are ostensibly fun and I can see why someone might have had a negative initial response to this video. They might have misunderstood the scope of the game, but there's simply no need to mock them as irrational or stupid, or to dogpile on them because you don't share or understand their discomfort.
I can understand why though people have that reaction at first, it's named "Secret Hitler", which sounds jokey, and it's made by the people who made "Cards Against Humanity", a game with a notorious history of doing problematic things to be edgy.
They try as much as possible to dress appropriately for the theme of the game, such as when they played a game where the characters are kids they dress in kids' attire, and when they played a horror-themed game they dressed in black and goth make up. Secret Hitler's characters are supposed to be members of a parliament, so they're dressed as politicians in formal attire.
The best thing about last night playing is we were drinking cold beer and I forgot who I saw’s thumb go up. True story. Yeah I had too many..... Fun game!! Btw, I wasn’t wearing a suit.
Yes. On the first failure they should have killed Ashley because if Ashley was a liberal and was telling the truth, sacrificing a liberal was not bad as Fascists didn't have the voting majority. On the other hand if Ashley lied as a Fascist, killing a Fascist wasn't bad.
@@azhao17 Note that Pat had been incorrectly given the ability to kill someone, the game should've just continued. It would've been very difficult to convince everyone to stick with Ashley's judgement to fail another 3 votes and test her theory, as if she was a fascist it would've basically been game over.
Official rules: "Election Tracker: If the group rejects three governments in a row, the country is thrown into chaos. Immediately reveal the Policy on top of the Policy deck and enact it. Any power granted by this Policy is ignored, but the Election Tracker resets" So you shouldn't use the power when there are 3 failed governments.
I thought it was like this: when 3 governments are rejected in a row, the next president is elected without voting and he can choose anyone for chancellor. At least we played it like that.
@@balintlukacs2848 This is not official rule. It just continues normally, no power granted at this point, so if she told the truth, they just had to "top deck" 3 times to get a liberal win (R-B-B)

gredangeo I think they once tried this with about 80 million people, with about 30 % fascists. It didn’t really end well. Let’s hope the new experiment with 340 million people works out better.
I feel like Jeff has an interpretation of hidden role games where you always have to play the opposite of what you were assigned. Every time he's innocent he always acts incredibly guilty :P
One thing they don't mention is that the fascists know each other. Where this game gets way more interesting is in groups of 7 or more players. With 7 players, the fascists get to know the identity of Hitler, but Hitler is doesn't know who the other fascists are. That results in two factions trying to deduce fascist identities, and creates situations where Hitler can misidentify their allies.
“If the group rejects three governments in a row, the country is thrown into chaos. Immediately reveal the Policy on top of the Policy deck and enact it. Any power granted by this Policy is ignored” That is from the rule book. This means after the failed elections the kill power shouldn’t have been used by pat.
Correct. I see a lot of playthroughs on youtube where players violate the rules (like this one). On the positive side, I have seen (much) worse rule violations on other channels that forced me to quit watching the video (and quit watching their channel altogether).
@@maxeisert7466 It's annoying when the rule broken is clearly there for a good reason (like the president not being term-limited in small games), but when channels like Smosh have the Chancellor pull the top 3 cards instead of the President its interesting to watch how the dynamic changes, even if its incorrect.
There was a channel (forget which it was) where a player (as President) drew 3 policy cards and said to the Chancellor "it doesn't matter, you can take any of my 3 policy cards you like". This violation went against the whole purpose of the game and made it useless to watch the playthrough any further as nobody even bothered to straighten that guy out. That's where I also quit watching their channel.
You got the rules wrong. Election Tracker: If the group rejects three governments in a row, the country is thrown into chaos. Immediately reveal the Policy on top of the Policy deck and enact it. ANY POWER GRANTED BY THIS POLICY IS IGNORED, but the Election Tracker resets.
Also after the 3rd fascist card is played and the chancellor is elected, no one asked the chancellor if they was hitler. There’s been times I’ve played and no one said anything after being elected chancellor when the game would’ve been over 3-4 elections earlier
@@joncollier4047 Pretty sure the expectation is that Hitler would reveal themself without being asked, since the win condition is met. They actually acknowledged that Clayton wasn't Hitler because of that at the end of that round.
Pat is _such_ an amazing liar,,, I always forget and whenever I watch these kind of games with him in them it really freaks me out (He's still one of my favorites tho!).
I actually knew he was for sure a fascist like halfway in, he was acting mad sus especially the part where he said "I am zero percent Hitler" since people tend to use terminology like that when they are at least somewhat lying (true that he wasn't Hitler, but he was a fascist)
I'd say that is a good house rule to use them though. The powers especially the bullets are one of the most exciting parts of the game and it seems weird to skip that. Also seeing as it's meant to be chaos if you wanted to you could spin the bottle to kill a random player this would obviously add more luck to the game but it would be fun.
This reminds me of a game called mafia which was played by a group of about 25 people at my university. The majority of players would be civilians, some would have special roles like doctor, detective, etc. and a few of the players would secretly be the mafia. The mafia was trying to kill everyone while the civilians were trying to find and kill the mafia members.
rule clarification: when you top deck a policy card after 3 failed elections, no one gets the power. this dramatically changes the power struggle in 5 player games.
You guys actually messed up at one point. If no government is formed and the top card is a fascist policy, any powers that would usually be unlocked upon its passage are supposed to be ignored. This means Jeff never should have been shot and the presidency instead should have been passed on to him, continuing gameplay as usual.
9 months late, but have a question. After a few failed elections, the first law is passed, it then resets. Does this mean, more can fail next, and the next card is used?
@@RyanTarney So, in this game, after they failed the first time, why couldn't they continue failing votes? Because they "knew' the next 2 will 100% be blue?
@@ReubenXR They should have done that, Yes. This game should have been over as soon as it was revealed the top 3 cards were 2 Liberals and a Fascist. Because no matter the order, Liberals vote no for Anarchy and anyone who votes yes to avoid that is a Fascist who you can Kill if needed.
I know from experience that hidden role games can be really intense tbh. There's werewolves, and blinking killer, but this game here also features the most horrid creatures of the night* so it is no wonder it is so charged. (Edit: *i am of course talking about the fascists, and not about the people playing it!)
I had a thought about a like expansion that could be cool, and maybe make the game more relevant to how the far right works online today. Instead of the fascists knowing who hitler is, hitler and the fascists both get shown a "dogwhistle" word or something that they need to use to signal to one another. But one of the liberals is also shown the dogwhistle. I feel like it'd reflect well how online now there's all these fascist dogwhistles getting thrown around, and pointing them out can make you sound crazy, like "ooooh he said the magic number, he did the brackets thing, he's dogwhistling".
This is such a well edited, costumed, designed, lit, video. The music was perfect, the shots of people's faces at key moments - yeah it missed a few, but it was so tense and so moving throughout. Bloody hell.
Sam Galloway Clayton was being totally honest though. Also he was like explaining the game. He said as u can see I'm not facist alrdy. Kind of pointless to lie to the audience if u're basically the game master and we the audience don't really understand how the game works.
The issue with that is that that IS EXACTLY how a lot of board game geeks like to play evil hidden roles. They use their knowledge, and the fact that they'll explain things to you that are beneficial to the good guys as a shield. Then when they see a good opportunity to abuse their clout, they'll take it to make a surgical strike. Because of that, I personally had Clayton labeled as a clear fascist, but not Hitler early on, and he kept reinforcing it with his actions. That's about the only time an experienced hidden role player will talk excessively, because it tends to draw suspicion on you otherwise (you also don't clam up because that's even worse). I actually thought either Ashley or Jeff were Hitler for a bit. It was hard to tell if Jeff was acting flustered or he really had just painted himself in the color. Either way, I knew he wasn't doing his role well, but couldn't tell if people pressing on him was because he was a liability to the plan or not. If he WAS a fascist, he was a perfect fall guy for the team to get Hitler elected. Ashley was an obvious fascist of some kind from the beginning. She clammed up IMMEDIATELY once discussion started, and that's a common defense for bad roles on slightly less experienced players. It makes you really suspicious. So, if you're a fascist, you've labeled yourself untrustworthy, and if you're liberal, you've made your teammate suspect you. I thought she might be Hitler for a while because that would definitely be a reason for someone to want to draw even less attention to themselves from the beginning, and I think Clayton suspected her as Hitler until she stupidly got 3 fascist laws passed under her power. The only way she would be Hitler at that point was if she was a master class level player trying to disguise herself as a common fascist so another experienced player would nominate her to get the power of killing next round. Possible, but I considered it unlikely considering her actions. I had Simone as a suspicious party for a while, but considering how much she acted out early on, I thought it was unlikely she was Hitler, because drawing attention to yourself is the worst thing to do as Hitler (and was probably a good reason Clayton was able to call her out). She eventually got into enough of a flow that I moved from Jeff to her as the other Liberal for a while (I assume Pat was a liberal until near the end). I never quite got her as Hitler, but that's also because I believe Clayton was a fascist until the end. From Clayton's viewpoint, the answer was obvious once it became his turn. He knew it was one of those two and one of them acted suspicious at the beginning but started to clam up and had a very suspicious vote of "Nein" near the end, and the other almost seemed to want to draw attention to himself near the end (Pat). So, among those two, it's almost always going to be the quieter player if they're not completely incompetent (or sometimes very smart in VERY specific scenarios). As they said, Pat did an EXCELLENT job as a fascist. He talked exactly as much as he needed to and pushed things only when it didn't make him suspicious. Pushing too hard on getting elected was his downfall though. He clearly wanted to make his party seem innocent. So, I knew he wasn't Hitler, but he went from obvious Liberal to suspect in that moment. Needless to say, it's a pretty complicated game, but from Clayton's perspective, it was somewhat of a foregone conclusion after they shot Jeff.
what do you thing about the kill? Facists know from the beginning who is their teammate. so the killing doesn´t make much sense. To kill a facist as a facist? Or don´t they know?
Y'know, upon watching this for the umpth time, I just realized what an obvious tell it was that Pat killed Jeff. If Pat had been a liberal, killing Ashley or Clayton would have been the most reasonable choice, but since he was a fascist he needed them to be left in the game for the sake of spreading doubt and thus he killed Jeff. (If that was how Pat actually thought is up for debate though lmao)
I suspected Simone since the first round when she said that she didn’t want to be nominated. I just felt like that was such a strange play. Why avoid the power like that? It seemed like she was trying to fly under the radar for some reason.
IdleThoughts there’s a reason but it is odd. It’s based of their experiences personally I don’t think that’s a reason to think they are hitler mainly because hitler WANTS power atleast once or twice to get proven mainly twice because at that point you become “confirmed” in the eyes of a true lib even if you’re president you get a bullet if it’s in zone 2 so libs sometimes don’t want it that way they have a higher chance of being president in the end game where chancellorship is only given to 100% proven and people in “conflict”
25:50 was when I decided that I thought Pat was a fascist. I think he tried to sneak a move there, hoping that he had enough teammates who would surprise vote Yes, but tried to play it off as a clumsy mistake. If the vote had passed there by surprise he would have won.
Also: My family plays this on holidays and this video is disturbingly similar to the last time we played when me and my brother were the fascist pair. A very fun game, good for destroying familial trust
I've never played this but my family regularly plays "Resistance" which is a similar. Last time my brother and I were spies we had such sibling esp that we were able to understand the elaborate text message buzzes we were sending one another under the table. We've also used blinks and facial cues. My brother and I always wind up one game per game night as a team.
According to RAW, FTR: "If the group rejects three governments in a row, the country is thrown into chaos. Immediately reveal the Policy on top of the Policy deck and enact it. Any power granted by this Policy is ignored, but the Election Tracker resets, and existing term-limits are forgotten."
Of course, that implies Ashley is telling the truth. While ultimately it's shown that she was telling the truth, she _was_ the one that plunged them into that mess by apparently "forgetting" what was the cards she just looked at. She wouldn't look so trustworthy
It would prove if she was liberal or facist. As you could keep failing elections. If the next card is liberal, continue on. If facist, she is now for sure a facist and you can safely kill her.
Samuel Parris has voted. Samuel Parris has canceled their vote. Samuel Parris has voted. Samuel Parris has canceled their vote. Samuel Parris has voted. Samuel Parris has canceled their vote.
This is genuinely an interesting concept for a game. And the fact that it does a fairly decent job at replicated the power dynamic in pre-WWII Germany, is fantastic! I'd love to see a third angle and add communism. Pre-WWII Germany it was a power struggle between the three ideologies. It would be interesting if you either had a third party (for larger player games) or perhaps one person is a communist and has to try to pass communist laws and usurp both parties secretly?
Yeah, but the communists were the least secretive of the three. Their violent gangs roaming the streets is what paved the way for Hitler to be elected.
Alaskafish honestly the early, violent betrayal of the communist party by the socialists in like 1918 stymied the left. the left was divided and coalitions even more unstable and skewed to the right. i don’t think they had much power at all, especially considering the system of elites that ended up putting hitler in power. i don’t know how much it would add the the game,,,plus like,,,,complexity can drown a board game
I really love how for all the law passing clips they edited it to just show their hands, it really exaggerates the anonymity of this fragile government, because like, you never *truly* know who is doing what
As soon as Simone was throwing shade on everyone I knew she HAD to be Fascist. She was acting too paranoid, and spreading fear. She knew who were teammates were and who not to make suspicious. Hence if she played it right, everyone would kill the person she mad suspicious, which happened. But I agree, Pat touching Simone’s shoulder gave it away for me.
28:16 Is when Simone gives a terrible reason and then Pat suspiciously stares at the camera and touched her shoulder whispering a couple words fast while everyone else was thinking mentally about the cards. I even speculate that Pat purposely killed Jeff because it looks like he might have caught Pat whispering to Simone.
Simone was so bad at acting in convinced at 19 minutes in that she was a fascist and later into the game she kept passing the blame and I was suspicious that she was Hitler as well
"Hitler wants to act as liberal as possible early on to be voted in later on" Me, an intellectual: *plays red with rb as chanc* "NO YOU GAVE ME 2 REDS!!!!!!!111"
man whenever i play this we're screaming and at each others throats it's wild i really appreciate the calm and thoughtfulness that actually should go into playing the game (though screaming 'FASCIST' in people's faces never gets old lol)
When we play we keep all the vote cards in a single pile on the table. When it's time to vote each player draws the card they want and we all place our vote cards face down on the table. They are shuffled and then the vote is revealed. This way no one knows how anyone else voted. Makes game play that much more intriguing.

Tom Laurie woah I didn’t even realize this was a thing that happened.

True praxis is playing a Board Game
The best thing about this entire video is the fact that they are wearing suits while playing a board game. 😂
Well of course, when the Reichstag is in session you have to be dressed for the occasion!
Well, they are President and Chancellor.

One thing they don't mention is that the fascists know each other. Where this game gets way more interesting is in groups of 7 or more players. With 7 players, the fascists get to know the identity of Hitler, but Hitler is doesn't know who the other fascists are. That results in two factions trying to deduce fascist identities, and creates situations where Hitler can misidentify their allies.
z beeblebrox they did mention that at the beginning tho
@@tassyatiffany Yeah I worded that wrong. I meant they didn't mention how the rules change for 7+ players

That is from the rule book.
This means after the failed elections the kill power shouldn’t have been used by pat.
Also term limits
Clayton was being totally honest though.
I was convinced it was ashley and Jeff
The 2 fascists did a great job, Clayton is smarter than me
what do you thing about the kill? Facists know from the beginning who is their teammate. so the killing doesn´t make much sense. To kill a facist as a facist? Or don´t they know?
A Cabsalt Throwing a teammate under the bus to throw people off your scent is a pretty easy tactic, especially if they draw attention to themselves.

It seemed like she was trying to fly under the radar for some reason.
some people don't want it even if liberal though
IdleThoughts there’s a reason but it is odd. It’s based of their experiences personally I don’t think that’s a reason to think they are hitler mainly because hitler WANTS power atleast once or twice to get proven mainly twice because at that point you become “confirmed” in the eyes of a true lib even if you’re president you get a bullet if it’s in zone 2 so libs sometimes don’t want it that way they have a higher chance of being president in the end game where chancellorship is only given to 100% proven and people in “conflict”

This is genuinely an interesting concept for a game. And the fact that it does a fairly decent job at replicated the power dynamic in pre-WWII Germany, is fantastic! I'd love to see a third angle and add communism. Pre-WWII Germany it was a power struggle between the three ideologies. Communists don't pass laws in a capitalist state
Alaskafish honestly the early, violent betrayal of the communist party by the socialists in like 1918 stymied the left. the left was divided and coalitions even more unstable and skewed to the right. i don’t think they had much power at all, especially considering the system of elites that ended up putting hitler in power. i don’t know how much it would add the the game,,,plus like,,,,complexity can drown a board game
Simone literally said that she hated everyone; how did that tip NOBODY OFF?
I knew it was simone since the moment that everyone at the table was freaking out, *except* her.
Jeff is looking so handsome and dapper, love the fashion
this was very good and full of sweaty Polypals. I dig this series
This game has been a favorite of mine for years. There’s nothing quite as nerve racking as being a fascist and lying directly to your friends’ faces.
that one upside down fascist card
"Yeah, we're failures. I mean, historically..."
Hrrrrrrmmmm
The dramatic lighting in this is beautiful and perfect
pat looks SHARP
I really love how for all the law passing clips they edited it to just show their hands, it really exaggerates the anonymity of this fragile government, because like, you never *truly* know who is doing what
I’m totally a Jeff playing hidden role games everything I say is immediately incriminating
I’ve played this and honestly it’s so much fun. It gets even better with the more people you have.

The second Pat touched Simone’s shoulder I knew they were the fascists. They’re too good of a team
when did it happen
As soon as Simone was throwing shade on everyone I knew she HAD to be Fascist. She was acting too paranoid, and spreading fear. She knew who were teammates were and who not to make suspicious. Hence if she played it right, everyone would kill the person she mad suspicious, which happened. But I agree, Pat touching Simone’s shoulder gave it away for me.
When did he touch her shoulder?
28:16 Is when Simone gives a terrible reason and then Pat suspiciously stares at the camera and touched her shoulder whispering a couple words fast while everyone else was thinking mentally about the cards. I even speculate that Pat purposely killed Jeff because it looks like he might have caught Pat whispering to Simone.
Prettypinkdork sneaky!!! I didn’t catch that! Lol
I like their outfits.
Simone was so bad at acting in convinced at 19 minutes in that she was a fascist and later into the game she kept passing the blame and I was suspicious that she was Hitler as well
Instead of "Overboard" this should be called "GoddammitJeff"
"Hitler wants to act as liberal as possible early on to be voted in later on"
Me, an intellectual: *plays red with rb as chanc* "NO YOU GAVE ME 2 REDS!!!!!!!111"
Stylish.
man whenever i play this we're screaming and at each others throats it's wild i really appreciate the calm and thoughtfulness that actually should go into playing the game (though screaming 'FASCIST' in people's faces never gets old lol)
Jeff in that suit honestly looks like he could be a politician to me.
When we play we keep all the vote cards in a single pile on the table. When it's time to vote each player draws the card they want and we all place our vote cards face down on the table. They are shuffled and then the vote is revealed. This way no one knows how anyone else voted. Makes game play that much more intriguing.
That... makes it nearly impossible for the liberals to win. How everyone votes is crucial information to figure out who the fascists are.
i couldn’t play with pat bc i immediately don’t trust him for some reason
