@@emmamarshall221 I was worried about standing and now have done both and standing was 100% the best way to watch it. It is a long time but you move around a fair bit so that makes it a bit easier and its so engaging the time goes very fast!
@@emmamarshall221 Stand, if you can! It’s so much fun and a very unique way to see it. And you can move to the edge and lean on the back wall area if you need to. I’m not a spring chicken but I didn’t regret it!
Having not seen the actual show, I assume (hope) that this is staged quite differently in their home theatre? This version did not at all for me, yet I've heard such wonderful things about the actual production.
This is a different version to the one at the Bridge and shortened quite a bit so the striptease element whilst there is done diffeerently. Seeing it immersive when you're literally on the stage is incredible....as is the whole show...
@@jaycecollins5082 Never criticised the pipes of these gals, but diversity cannot be forced into EVERYTHING. What's next? A story about the Kentucky Derby, but instead of horses, they're all turtles? (And I don't mean a comedy.) Performing art requires a suspension of disbelief. If ALL the players in this version of "G&D" were obese (or all Black, etc.), then nothing stands out. Merit over message.
Where in the script of Guys and Dolls does it specify how much Adelaide should weigh? And have you seen what real '40s burlesque dancers looked like? I think musical theatre is much better off when actors are cast for talent rather than appearance.
This revival of Guys & Dolls is a must see - it's unlike anything else that's on right now! So special and super fun! 🎲❤
I'm seeing this next month and going to be at the standing immersive area ❤️
@@katiebray8725 you’ll have so much fun! I went to see it for the second time last week and it was great! ☺️ hope you enjoy it!
Marisha Wallace's Miss Adelaide was one of the best I've ever seen, that voice - so powerful, rich and beautiful - she is destined for great acclaim
As spectacular as ever from Marisha, Arlene and the girls. Even better to be in the crowd at the Bridge to appreciate it in person. Thank you all!
Did you do a standing ticket? I am debating doing that over a seat but worried I will regret it once I'm there!

I've gone and booked it, thank you! I won't blame you if my legs get tired 😴
I really hope they release a recording of this show. It was amazing. The immersive aspect was genius.
There is one, it’s on Spotify and Apple Music.
@@maxg.9300 thank you!
She is pure theatrical magic -- and the entire production was brilliant.
Fantastic! Congrats on your nomination Marisha.
🤩🤩Marisha Wallace is incredible. So gorgeous and talented.😊😊
She’s a powerhouse!!!!!!!!
She’s a powerhouse!!! Class act!! Brava!!
Just seen Guys & Dolls at the Bridge 2 weeks ago... IT IS AMAZING, IMMERSIVE, UTTERLY ENTERTAINING! I WILL COME BACK as soon as possible!😍😍😍

only made it to the interval as the leg room was so abysmal I was in a lot of pain and could not concentrate on the show 😂
In the stage production, the cast is surrounded by seated and standing audience and so the choreography isn't presented quite the same.
Marissa is amazing. They’re all fantastic
Sensational!
A bit shouty for me. Losing vocal tone
Who actually asked you?
More than a bit. Plus vulgar and sloppy.
@@kmf-z5cvulgar?? Didn’t realise the neturei Karta had a new spokesperson
somebody forgot to tell somebody that this number is supposed to be a strip tease
No I think they definitely did
She has three different costumes in the number, each getting progressively more risqué.
They do the strip tease, just not on the beats that would make it funny.

I hope they have the part where they go back and grab all the clothes!
This was not done well..see original in Guys and Dolls
Should be retitled "Take Back Your Moose" based on the size of these broads!

She’s way too big for this role! These producers have lost their minds😢
There is still time for you to become a better human being
