this is so incredibly good. The way he mixes sick shred, bluesy bends, and bebop swing blows my mind.
to this day bust a soda remains one of my fave songs ever
Andy is such a true master of his instrument! He has control over speed, emotion, everything. His new record is probably one of the greatest guitar accomplishments in along time, considering theres only one guitar track on the whole record. Do yourself a favor & on all of his stuff! Compared to the time it takes to practice to get as good as that, Andy must be at least 200 years old.

they are both awesome, don't compare them, they play different genres!
I agree most of Petrucci's solos are just some sweeping shits, but watch for The Best Of Times solo... IMO it is the BEST, yes you read it right, the BEST solo ever has made...
Anyway, he's an amazing riffer but his improvising sucks...
