May the Force be with you!
Thank you for this! ❤️ This is so incredibly cool!! When I wrote “Uhl Earl Khoehng”, I never imagined that my troubled Fable Astin would rise from legend. Thank you to all the Brandl fans and followers who clearly made her noteworthy. LOL Doaba ol’val tru!
I always liked that story of the Dark Jedi Adaric Brandl, and the pilot paid a large sum to fly this moody stranger off world (the locals got spooked when he apparently killed anther man without touching him). Only when leaving with his mysterious passenger, does the smuggler's shipboard computer inform him that the local nickname for this man translates as 'Fallen'.
The sequel tale of the dark forest and the fool of a king determined to disturb the legendary Uhl Earl Khoehng that was said to dwell there, shows why some things should be left well enough alone.
Long Live The King.
Cal Kestis went directly to Bracca after Order 66, he never used the Path. That's probably why his name is not carved on the walls.
@@MikeKennedyNFL But if the Path was set shortly after Order 66 - so ten years before - Cordova could have used it.
@@tonycrussol9020
This. Cere could have used it before or after her capture as well, as both events occurred quite some time before she met Cal.
Cal’s name being omitted tracks with what we know about his life so far. He was hiding on Bracca since order 66, so he never used the path.
It could only possibly become a plot hole if it’s brought up at all in Jedi: Survivor. Even then it could be chocked up to his name simply wasn't written down, or was engraved in a spot we simply don’t see.
Luke and Leia are also not mentioned on the wall. Neither of them used the path. Also, aren't all the ones mentioned adults and Jedi Knights verified by the Jedi Council? Cal was 17 and a padawan in JFO
@@metamorphosis5219 you're being sarcastic about luke and leia right?
@@MikeKennedyNFL you just argued against your own point. Also there was no actual confirmation of Eno Cordova’s death.
Since this took place 5 years after, they may have just hinted that Eno is alive…and could be in the sequel on Jabiim.
Rahm Kota... Now theres a name I haven't heard in a long time. I hope we see some stories featuring him at some point.
I thought it was supposed to be him in the bacta tank in the Jedi survivor trailer but he's confirmed to be alive here so idk
I've been in waiting
Kota being alive gives me Star killer return vibes
I never thought I'd see Rahm Kota in canon. dreams do come true after all.
If my boi is here then
Seems to be a badass
He was in one of the original draft of rogue one, but they decided they didn't want to have a jedi in the story
probably just more of an easter egg rather than entering them into canon
@@punkfuk I mean, that does make Kota canon now, just not the events of TFU he was involved in. They could change his story massively. But he’s here and that’s all that matters to me.
Cal never used "The Path", he spend five years on Bracca before his discovered by the Empire and posterior rescue by Cere and Greez. Also it makes sense that Eno Cordova would survive since he knew the Jedi Order was doomed.
Rahm Kota being alive makes me think they have plans to somehow reintroduce Force Unleashed story in the canon.
That possible Dark Forces 2/Kyle Katarn reference makes me happy.
Also happy with the padawans from the Hyperspace webcomic being brought back to canon.
Henry Thomas is the boy from ET. And ET's species was represented in the senate in episode 1, and there is a theory that ET knew yoda from his reaction to a kid in a yoda costume, so that is easily right on that Henry egg.
If we end up meeting Rahm Kota at some point and he is blind, now we're talking. Because that then begs the question - how was he blinded and more importantly - *WHO* was Rahm Kota blinded by?????? 😁😉😁😉😎
Sam Witwer.
I'm so glad you didn't clickbait this as "FORCE UNLEASHED CANON?!" or something
I'm not totally surprised about Rahm Kota being made canon. He was thisclose to being in Rogue One, but they decided to go with Donnie Yen's character instead (I know his character's name, I just can't spell it for the life of me).
Chirrut?
Wait when did they say that about General Kota?
@@acdragonrider when the original drafts were released online you can look it up
@@skysky7428 What we could've had! 😩
“Impressive.”
- Lord Vader
Lot of obscure named Jedi from long ago. One that interested me the most was Rahm Kota. A Jedi who was truly built for War.
Much like the Sith from TROS novelization these Jedi may be canonized in name only. And whatever we see of them in Animation, Game, or Live action series could be executed differently than what was known prior.
Rahm Kota should be left alone. The Force Unleashed devs did Kota well in both games! An excellent side-character and a well-written character.
Djinn Altiss was also Callista's master (from Children of the Jedi), which kind of explained why she'd had a partner/husband (since those books were written pre-prequels) and was able to put her consciousness into the computer Luke finds her in. I could have sworn that her master's name had been mentioned prior to No Prisoners, but I might just have been mixing the details from both books together. But it's interesting to me that Roganda and Nichos show up here too!
I thought I was pretty versed in Legends stuff, but there's a few here I hadn't been aware of!
And since survivor is out we can confirm those first two names unfortunately for people who have played the game so far we know of both their fates
QU’RAHN!? HELL YEAH LET’S GO!!!
Nice GHTROC at 4:42. Love that W.E.G. art.
This was awesome Kyle! Do more videos like this!
It’s funny now that eno’s name was gonna be on the wall(or was we just couldn’t see it) considering he’s alive and well in Jedi:survivor,I thought he was long dead by the time of Jedi fallen order
I’ve been looking forward to this
This was great! Thanks Kyle. Would love videos like these covering different parts of Star Wars. Super informative.
Don’t read my comment unless you’ve played Jedi Survivor:
I love how Jedi Survivor heavily ties in on this with ‘The Path’ and both Eno Cordova and Cere Junda helping people and trying to rebuild the archives
There are two names I am still waiting to see brought back from Legends, controversial or not: A'sharad Hett and K'kruhk.
The gruff near un-killable character of K'krukh was a good one in Legends. He has doublts about the Clone Wars the morality of the Jedi leading the clones into war. According to fan legend, he could not be killed, so long as he had his conical straw hat.
And A'sharad Hett, son of a Tuskan Jedi, took a long and dangerous path, like Anakin he fell in love during the clone wars, but his love did not survive the battle of Saleucami. Still, he would endure Order 66, and later return to Tatooine and almost united the Sandpeople against the human settlers, had not Kenobi faced him down close to the Lars farm, and defeated him in a duel, removing one of his hands. But A'sharad was clearly very determined, and would seek out ancient Sith lore in the tombs of Korriban. And become a more terrible dark lord than Kylo ever managed.
I'm glad that both A'sharad and K'krukh got to appear together in the comic series set over 100 years after Endor.
@@dromankass8655 was A'Sharad Darth Kraytt ?
@@ghekor yup. he emerged after the battle of endor and had battles with luke and his descendants
Awesome effort. Kyle Katarn the Lore Explorer. It's so nice to have people making an effort to bring us this extra content. Really interesting to chars from great writers, games etc. to enter canon.. Thank you good sir!
super interesting info, thank you! cant wait to see where they go with these names
I’m convinced that rahm kota is the man in the bacta tank in the new Jedi Survivor Game. The lore gives me so much power.
zonder is a very interesting case considering at this point in canon, barriss should be in custody and it's never been mentioned that she had a padawan. i suppose they could say she had a padawan for a short period of time, maybe a couple months but im not sure. I do hope we see a little bit more of zonder, such a cool design.
HELL YES!!!!
Seeing Junda's name on the path's list is definitely great.
Edit: Rahm Kota?!!! YES!!! This is as close we get Force Unleashed to canon as possible.
Your knowledge of Star Wars lore in unbelievable! I'm truly impressed.
This was amazing thanks for the vid Kyle
My boi Rahm Kota is canon again??
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Heres hoping we get to hear his theme again 😭😭
This is the first time i'm hearing Rahm Kota being mentioned and glad he's back in canon
Excellent video..so well done.good job Kyle.
Altis may have first appeared in No Prisoners in 2009, but he was first mentioned in the 1995 novel Children of the Jedi which featured his student Callista Ming.
That's what I thought too - I was trying to remember if they had just never named him in that book, or if it wasn't until No Prisoners that they gave him a name, since Callista also shows up there (that was a blast from the past, haha).
Thanks. This was very informative.
"Qu" could also possibly refer to Quinlan Vos, since those are the first two letters in his name.
Makes sense
Cere and Cordova! Love the Fallen Order references and Kota!?!?!?!? Lets go!!!!!!
Folks we're one step closer to canon Force Unleashed, we're so close I can feel it.
Vader tearing a ship out of the sky also points to that
If only.
@@acdragonrider Yeh but Star Killer is just too OP to be a part of cannon imo..
@@lespaul5734 Ok, but the emperor using force lightning to disable an entire fleet of ships in ep 9 is just nothing right?
@@colink117 I didn't like that in Ep 9. Nor did I like the sequels much generally. But even then, he's the Emperor! Not a secret apprentice to Vader. Even Veder himself was much more OP in those games than he's ever been in film. The power levels are completely different between the games and the film
Love the d6 WEG Star Wars RPG getting so much love. The source materials they put out were really well done.
It's also where I learned that all hyperspace travel takes place at the speed of plot. 😉
I love how they are paying attention to this kind of lore. The finale will be an hour long, so hopefully it jumps right into the meat of it. Kenobi and Vader.
This was awesome, you're the best 👍🏿
I know all of these jedi. Except for Henry. I remember studying these jedi as a teenager
Rahm Kota’s presence in canon excites me.
It was a joke that they killed off both Cere Junda & Emo Cordova in Jedi Survivor & 2nd Sister Trilla Suduri when she was just about to defect & join Cal & Cere
This was awesome!
Awesome! This is the kind of content that makes UA-cam worth it.
Thank you so much for this. Keep it up
Cere and Cordova! Makes sense Cal's name wouldn't be there. He escaped directly to Bracca.
Great video Kyle exactly what I’ve been wanting to know,,, no Ahsoka on the walls I really do hope we get an Ahsoka Obi wan reunion
Henry Thomas also played Elliot in ET
Rahm Kota not having clones in his unit will always make him an absolute boss
When they mentioned Kota, I hope that means force unleashed is Canon
That is really interesting hearing all the names especially Cordova and Cere thank you for your work really appreciate it :)
Cheers from Austria ✌
Names listed:
Eno Cordova
Cere Junda
Rahm Kota
Fable Astin
Corwin Shelvay
Drun Cairnwick
Qu (Possibly Qu Rahn)
Djinn Altis
Tiberus Anderlock
Valin Halcyon
Nichos Marr
Roganda Ismaren
Drake Lo'gaan
Zonder
Ekria
Henry (Possibly an author or worker on the shows name)
I’ve been looking forward to this ever since you mentioned something about on Twitter. Gonna have to locate that Jedi in SWG now.
....we're one step closer to Galen
I'd be willing to bet "Henry" is somebody's kid, honestly.
Where did you access the episodes production notes?
Possibly canonized Starkiller and Kyle Katarn, let's fucking gooooooooo
Qu could also be Quinlan, but I’d love to see Kyles master.
Quinlan signs his full name under his quote in the safe house on Mapuzo, but his name isn't on the walls of Jabiim.
@@KyleKatarnChannel Ok thanks, that’s good to know.
Interesting. From all we know about "the Path" and the story of Cere and Trilla I think that Cere might have used the path after escaping Fortress Inquisitorius.
The other option would have been that she was one of the first people to work for the path when she and Trilla protected the Younglings but the more I think about it the more it seems like that was disconnected from the path. The most obvious hints were that they were hiding with them and had no clear location they had to get to, that Trilla is not part of the names and that this was immediately after Order 66 and based on that they didn't last long when protecting the Younglings the Path was probably not really that developed yet (if at all)
In addition: Cere had no idea what happened to Cordova but if they did use the path that early on they could very well have met there
Now we just need to find who all those lightsabers in the box belong to?
It's about time
Two videos game characters making being Canon is a dream come true but also gives me hope to see Starkiller and Kyle making a appearance in the Disney star war
Today **you** are the Loremaster.
Please let kota come back
If Cere Junda is on the wall then it was after she broke out of Castle Inquisitorious on Nur, as prior to that she would have her padawan Trilla with her and we all know trilla fell and became an insquisitor which who would have knowledge of the path if it was prior. So we know the Cere finds the path post capture and without Cal's name on the wall prior to JFO.
Altisian Jedi could also have relationships. Altis did not forbid attachments
You made this up. Only one name was confirmed and that was Quin.
Also none of the light sabers are identifiable either
omg Rahm Kota is canon. i hope we see him in future
Rham Kota? Let's fucking go!!!!!!
Now if only Kyle Katarn can be made cannon again. Hell I will just take the Moldy Crow.
Finale Bingo card:
Qui Gon
Yoda
Ahsoka
Sidious
Yo Kyle
Did you get the news Star Wars it’s self confirming that are working on a new 10 issue yoda comic
Did I miss Dume? I thought Kanan aka Caleb Dume let his old name on the wall, too.
Eno Cordova hasn't been confirmed by the official site yet, are you sure he was named along with the others ?
Yes, I've seen his name with my own eyes
@@KyleKatarnChannel That's interesting, I had always wondered if he was still alive or not by the time of Fallen Order. The Imperials seemed to be searching for him. Maybe we'll find out more in Jedi Survivor.
And the people who show you those names didn't precise if it only were unimportant easter eggs or if they had plans with those characters I suppose ? ^^
Now that kota is officially Canon I don't think it's a stretch to say we might one day get a Canon version of starkiller
Why would Disney ever give us something as cool as that?
There other Jedi in canon whose fates are never addressed such as Siri Tacchi and Bultar Swan (go to their Wookieepedia pages and there are canon pages to them!)
I’d like to think Bultar Swan would end up becoming one of the priority targets the Inquisitors would seek to either take out or have her join their ranks in the dark side!
Considering how long K’Kruhk’s species live, I’d say he was younger during the days of the so called High Republic Era!
Honestly it would be insane if Butler Swan and Siri Tacchi both survived Order 66 and became Inquisitors in canon!! I mean why not canon made Barriss a darksider when in Legends (yes I know Clone wars but outside of that) never showed hints in the dark side.
So the idea of those two being targets for Inquisitors and having the potential to be recruited would be something.
Would be insane if Olee Starstone is brought back into canon and the Inquisitors tried to recruit her as well!
I would love more stories of Inquisitors capturing Jedi and trying to recruit them
@@teddyfilli3079
It would also be insane if In the Ahsoka series, Ahsoka Tano would stumble upon K’Kruhk and several communities of Hidden Jedi who hid from Vader and the Inquisitors extremely well, in fact too well that they were still around by the early New Republic Age!
@@christinejorgens6577 that sounds good perfect way to introduced K'kruhk and Atlas
@@teddyfilli3079
I’m sure there are still even a small number of Jedi Purge survivors still around in 35 ABY but are still Very hesitant to reveal themselves due to the First Order and the Sith Eternal! K’Kruhk is likely one example, Quinlan Vos could be another (if he managed to survive all the way to the sequels!)
@@christinejorgens6577 K'kruhk I agree I would love to see him just randomly pop up to Rey. Quinlin Vos Im carious to see how long their have him be around
Didn't they name the mother of corran, Nyche in the credits of kenobi? If so, another datapoint in favor of corran horn.
Kota is finally canon
Interesting for the record I always loved the original 3 Star Wars films and rogue one but Disney + has me fiending for anything Star Wars!
So basically what I’m taking from this is that Luke was not the only Jedi in the rebel alliance 😂
GENERAL KOTA LIVES
Rahm Kota is canon again? My hopes for canon version of force unleashed is up again
so they can make rahm kota canon but not galen
Cuz we dont need another secret apprentice for vader
Rahm Kota is much easier to translate to canon that Galen Marek. I honestly don't know why everyone wants Starkiller to be canon anyways. They'll just complain because Disney will nerf him. I'm happy to see Kota, but Starkiller should remain STRICTLY legends.
Because, unlike Starkiller, Rahm Kota is much easier to put into canon. Starkiller took down a star destroyer using only the force (his clone also split a star destroyer in half with the force), and almost killed Vader, or actually killed him depending on which ending you're going for. In short, Starkiller is way too OP to become canon without seriously nerfing him.
@@billystokes3917 Starkiller didn’t take a star destroyer down with the force, he steered a crashing star destroyer a bit with the force.
The version of the story that was canon before Disney was the novelisation, in which he was much less powerful than in the game, where they exaggerated his power for the sake of gameplay.
He could easily fit into canon as an Inquisitor and have a mostly unchanged character arc, fight and blind Kota, hunt a few other Jedi, get betrayed by Vader, then eventually join the rebels, and die fighting Vader to cover some rebel leaders’ escape.
Are you a Wookieepedia user? Should talk to someone there
Vader is still ducking my fade
Well, I both enjoyed the video AND learned something, so... Nice? xD
Guys Disney referencing the best games ever force unleashed
Force Unleashed canon series I'm waiting for the announcement Disney
Dont hold your breath though
Rahm Kota being canon begs the question of if we'll get a new reworking of the Force Unleashed story that fits with the new canon. Canon Starkiller may yet be a reality, people.
I hope people is not complaining because for sure they gonna nerf him
@@albumkosong the games exaggerated his powers for the sake of fun gameplay. Read the novelisation. He’s not OP he’s still powerful but in the lore he’s more reasonable.
Wait, a jedi fell in love with her own padawan? Yikes
Please I hope we get screen time from Forced Unleashed canon
RAHM KOTA
