You'll get a closer look at the UPR Products which make this swap possible, as well as the Baer Brake kit, Viking Performance shocks & coilover struts, Billet Specialties wheels, and Mickey Thompson tires. I have a really clean 1990 coupe and this is my dream build. A+
Video came in perfect timing as I'm looking to do a Coyote swap on my 87 coupe. Thanks! 🎉🎉🎉
Awesome! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any tech questions. 🙌
check out my page I have complete build log on Lokar shifter with 10r80 and so much amazing info for the swap people dont tell you about.
Thanks for your response!!!
I have the same setup but Maximum suspension all around and with Weld s71 on E85 your in the 10s no problem on this setup. On pump gas 91 and pony wheels on drag radial I was in the mid to low 11s with horrible 2.0 60 foot. Enjoy beautiful job guys.
Thanks for the feedback. Your car sounds cool!
Yup! With a Holley oil pan there’s no need for adjustable motor mounts or spacers. Even with a Maximum Motorsports k member which allows you to place the steering rack much higher than this k member, you don’t need spacers.
what a great build!
Thanks for watching!
@upr products what size k member spacer and steer shaft did you use?
Save some air for the guy describing the car. Side note all that and skip out on frame connectors is wild.
Install a Lokar shifter and you will thank me later. The 6r80 unit works perfect for the 10r80 and looks better and gives you select shift and still looks like a stick. Thanks for sharing
We used the Lokar shifter on our 2003 Cobra which we 6R swapped. It's a nice unit.
Excellent build. I would like to make an offer on the car. Who can I contact?
Thing is nice! The spherical bushings in the rear end not so much for a street car. SN95 bushings work well. 4 link suspensions need to flex.
The spherical bushings have a spherical ball in them which allows suspension articulation. Been working great on street cars for many years.
I honestly tried to watch the whole video but the camera man breathing so hard outta his nose was too much for me
Dog that’s all I hear now, inhale and exhale 😂😂😂😂
Where's the welded in sub frame connectors??? You will twist the body and crack the A-pillar.
What spoiler is that
What electric power steering does it have?
What headers did you use?
These are Kooks 1-3/4" headers. The rest of the exhaust from the collectors back was custom fabricated.
how can i get a set of baer brakes for my 89 coupe?
Call UPR at 561.588.6630 and we can set you up with a nice Baer Brake package!
Gauges work all oem?
Yes, it uses the factory gauge cluster with a Ford control pack from Power By The Hour.
Damn. His breathing!
You here for the guy or the car lol😂😂
