This project took us a while to complete! The latter part of nearly 4 years. Brandon Williams, an employee of LMR, just so happen to stumble across a black 2.3L 4-cylinder Fox Mustang at his friend's salvage yard. Talk about right place, right time! The car was just days away from being crushed. Over the past few years, we (LMR) helped Brandon get this car back to driver quality. The focus was to spend our time, not our money. I know what you're thinking; time is money. Well, in this sense it's a little different. We wanted to "hustle" this one with our sweat equity because there are those of us out there that may not be in a position to spend a whole bunch of money. Enjoy the video! -Landan
Was pretty cool to get to know some of the shop personalities outside of the super professional standpoint. Good to know behind the scenes a shops still a shop lol
So great.. You can never find 2.3 cars anymore.. at least not around the NE.. they didn't get any love so nobody kept them.. Great job Landan and 5.0Resto.
Dam y'all struggling with the window trim is the reason I'm going to try to paint them while on the car. I'll just tape them off real good. But good job Landen let me know when I can drop off my car for the next video 😅
Carpet pressure washing could have been done over a saw horse, that way the water can run out of the carpet. I did my 88 vert five years ago, original desert tan carpet, still perfect
Can the 7.3 swap get the same love also can we see it fitted with a full exhaust setup front to bac. Longtube headers into an X pipe with like borla or kooks cat bac
Love these 4 cyl foxbodies. I've had 2 now that i drove around bone stock while i gathered parts for a swap. I now have a 91 coupe with a full 03 cobra terminator swap and a 88 hatch with a gen 3 coyote i bought from LMR.
Love the restoration of this car, awesome, The only thing is your showing all those cigarette butts but somehow no burns in the cloth seats I ain't calling BS but it is a little peculiar JS

Brandon was right. Landan and crew are the detail kings. Awesome job. Thoroughly enjoyed the video.
Ive been cleaning my 86 since 2019 lol 😆 still need to get all the undercoating off the underside .
I was lucky enough to be able to keep my '84 GT350 Foxbody when I bought my 2012 GT/cs conv. S197. Both are a blast to drive, each in their own way..
I absolutely loved the video! You guys saved that car and that’s my favorite part! Landen you do AMAZING work! Great job guys!

This is very educational. Got a project care that I will apply some of this to next year.
When you were pulling off the windshield trim I was waiting for the Mother F’er to come out. Been there done that….😂

Good stuff. Landon, I appreciated the "colorful" language! Spice it up a bit.
Time for a swap now. Go 351W , definitely worth it.

Had a 92 lx white with a blue interior 4 banger everyone on the highway thought it was a cop car!
Time for a coyote swap. 😎

Like it as is
1:03:12 looks down to make sure both guns are looking good….after bending the $hit out of the trim. 😂
Wash bottom to top…. Creates a brake free surface….when done … re-rinse
Corrosion Control Class
Av8-B
USMC
Turbo
Manual swap
Brakes and suspension
Keep it simple, lite and fun
NPD has oem Carlite windshields
How the inside of those shock towes?😊
I have the identical 4 cyl black on black but mines a manual, soon to be 302 swapped from a donor car. Mines a 92
That mold was probably into the seat foam
Off topic but what ever happened to the project Green Bean???

Everyone has a 5.0 but the cooler guy has the 4 banger and turbo sounds spicy🔥
Landon why y’all didn’t pull the sicker off the trunk!?
🤘🏾
16:15 = Human Has Been Confirmed, 😂‼️
You mentioned no power steering in the Godzilla car. Couldn't you use a Volvo electric power steering pump?
All that work and disassembly and not body work or a respray. Now will have to blow that all back apart to paint it.
Why swap it - add a small turbo.
My 93 was stolen 7 years ago. I’m still trying to save money to build the 4 cylinder coupe I got to something else. Everything so damn expensive now.
Everything even for sn95's and new edge's. Shit used to be a bargain..... now its crazy
I only watched because I was sure thus was going to be a coyote swap, or old school 5.0 swap, or something! But unfortunately not!!!!! 😕
man, that thing is ripe for a godzilla swap :)
Before you V8 swap that bad boy, turbo the 2.3 & build a SVO Coupe. 🤔
