We will also explore a new SECRET menu that gets added when you insert the secret plug and then take the bike on a ride and talk about all the ride modes. Enjoy!

Nice Video.. how did you make the gas status icon appear permanently on the dash. I have to keep checking the vehicle information for that annoying.
Press the menu selector button up several times as the desired icon appears.

Hi, in case you have recorded your live session , please do share the link. Also, I have recently booked this bike and will get it in a week or so. Just wanted to know, do I have to be concerned about the plastic tank?
I notice alot of new riders change gears too early and also don't leave with enough throttle on acceleration starts for faster 0 to 60mph times. U get more out of the bike by being a little more aggressive with the throttle.

@@TheSonic0989 The plug came with the bike but only with the drive mode pro pack that was around 350 euros, if you don't have the drive mode package you don't need this plug I think
As you area a fairly new rider and now had the opportunity to try two riding styles Super Sport Ducati 959 and Sport Naked BMW F900R both being middle weights which riding style do you like the most and why. I ask as I currently ride a hyper/super naked Honda CB1000R and am considering getting a hyper sport BMW S1000RR or maybe a Ducati V4S.
The bikes serve different purposes so I can't say which I like better.. I can explain more in the next live q&a.

I have 1.64m, I am from Portugal and the F900R suits very good on me, very easy to ride. Just put the lower seat and lower suspension :)

Can you buy this plug in chip straight from the dealership. Here in the UK there's not many customisation options for this bike yet 😔

You have to have the dynamic mode for the plug to work.
Can you add this to a non premium package bike and do you know if you can add cruise control to a basic bike after purchase
No to both.
I had ride mode pro installed on my f900r after purchase. This adds dynamic and dynamic pro modes otherwise you only have rain and road.
Er Ya how long ago did you have yours retrofitted? Last time I checked, BMW hadn’t released the retrofit for ABS Pro (part of the ride mode pro package), at least for the bikes in the US ☹️👎🏻
@@taylorashworth3998 The retrofit was done about one and a half months ago. It could have been done sooner but my dealer coudn't get the activation codes to get accepted by the onboard computer. They didn't realize you needed the imu module installed in the bike. I'm from the netherlands.
I bought the base model a few days ago and I got 3 modes,rain,road dynamic plus it came with the plug in gnna plug it in tomorrow and see what happens

I figured it out you now have to go to settings and activate dynamic pro

I can ride bike that has 775mm or lower one....
Get the 30 inch seat option w/ lowered suspension.
I have 5feet 4inch and I can handle the F900R pretty good with low seat and lower suspension.

Looks to me that the "code plug" is nothing more than a wire that completes a circuit. Stick a single wire into the two holes and it should work.

Same here. Bought the bike and it just came in yesterday. My insurance is pretty cheap given its full coverage and I'm a 23 years old
Got my f'y last Wednesday, saw this and wNted a red plug, couldnt find one on interweb, looked in packet of manual and second key and low and behold, "red plug"!!!! Have put it in, changed settings ready to go, hope i dont flip it now. lol. Pissing rain for the next few days so wont get to play with it for a bit yet
