Here is idea for a little upgrade -you should add one of those laser pointers so you can do a test cut and see if you cut where you want it to cut.Great idea.
I definitely like it. You have inspired me to take a swing at my own version using my 60 amp Hypertherm. I'm thinking of something that can cut up to 4 foot sheets. That would really help me, plus eliminating the slag and weld back would be a big time saver and improve quality. Using your tool also will help tips live longer as it will eliminate tip drag. Good job my friend.
That was quite nice. I’d love to get a plasma cnc, but I’ve got so much stuff. I have no where to put it!. This will help somewhat. It’s one of the simplest motorized ones I’ve seen, and you’ve given me some ideas. I also like your presentation.
I think I’m going to build a portable design like this but use my Milwaukee drill as a the motor and some all thread like you did. Very smooth easy build thank you.
Please can you link the parts you used in the description, like the bearing, threaded rod , coupling, motor and especially the speed controller. Thanks
The plasma from the torch is swirling around, causing one side of the cut to be at an angle and the other side of the cut to be square (assuming your torch is square to the workpiece and at the proper distance from the workpiece). Something to be aware of so you can have the less desirable side of the cut on the scrap side.
Dear Nicolas i thank you for your video youtube. may i ask you the sketchup file to be sure about your amazing process? Thanks a lot. or only drawing pix of the structure thanks a lot
You’re having a problem cutting with a plasma because you’re supposed to pull the torch towards you when cutting You have to drag the tip towards you that’s why their called “ drag tips”. You never push a plasma torch when cutting
I'd also extend the sides a bit and insert some on/off magnets on each end so that the rail stays put on steel surfaces.

Great idea and simple versus others I’ve seen! I like simple! Please list the parts and descriptions! Thx

Looks great, I like the portability.. You can bring it to the sheet metal instead of the other way around, just what I need.
Great stuff. This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!
Any plans to turn this into a X and Y track?
I can see this coming to my shop very quickly Thank you

Well done. I think you could do with a longer one!
Can you please link the motor, coupler, and speed controller?
Also what did you do for the trigger switch on the plasma cutter?
Do you have a video on how you made the metal brake you used in this video?
Pretty neat I will have to try to make one
Sweet!!! Parts list please!
Can you provide us with those 3d plans for building?
really great just what i needed to see as my plasma is on the way to me.
Thankyou very much.
How about a parts list? Sources?
Perfect. Now who manufactures one I can just buy? I’m not really into fiddling around with electronics and sourcing these misc parts.
😃Congratulations my friend 👍👏👏👏👏good
Love it,can you make another one for sale
Excellent tout ça 😎 - Alex
awesome! building it... a must
Thank for the video. Can you provide the RPM the motor needs to be?
Do you have plans of how we can copy this and make our own.
Good project
If you really push the speed could you engrave with this?
Nice job
beau travail !
I LOVE it
Из чего изготовлены направляющие трубы?
can I use this plasma machine on cnc plasma cutting machine.
Hola.me podria facilitar el diseño así lo puedo fabricar para mi taller muchas gracias
Very good

Does the torch need to be at an angle?
@@NicolasSalencPBP no straight Down. It’s different then when cutting with a cutting torch where you tip the torch forward slight.
Nice build 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Грамотно Класс!!!!!!!
Olá amigo tem como vender esse projeto eu adorei.
