- ATF Special Agent Richard Beazit and Sebastian give an update on all the new rules for 2022.
Although this is a fairly accurate description of the behavior of the ATF and the way they interpret the laws. This is OBVIOUSLY A PARODY... The cartoon man is not a real agent and is not giving out real legal advice.
Well clearly it’s a felony we just haven’t figured out why yet.

And let me tell ya. At the range if my target was a felon with a full auto rifle and I had a pistol at 20 yards.... I would be dead cause only 1 out of my whole clip hit the head. And I had a legally rented gun with a red dot. That imaginary gunman has body armor and if real would be a big stressor that would probably make that 1 shot miss... But we don't need extended mags or rifles or anything to help us not for if the worst happens. right.... Which they make the worst seem like it's everywhere.
As felons smile and learn milling in prison or from UA-cam if it ever does get hard for them to find a gun. Which they still say is easier for them than a law abiding person cause hey no hoops to jump through and worry about cause they don't care about jail.... But laws for almost a century have helped right....
That's not even considering WW3 could be a ground invasion as everyone stands terrified of nukes that are doing the opposite of what they're meant for as their power is so feared no one moves against Russia.
Like America could handle that. Can't even handle some words printed on a paper in a window that pokes at my race's self pushed love for chicken and veggies. Or a comic book that'd relatable to those that don't like proper speech and clean cut people.
Not that we would have the things to shoot at distance or take rifle rounds cause body armor, stocks, lasers, sights,grips and mags are illegal without certain things that are expensive as gas has America like oh my god....

Read the atf form over and over, study the point system until you understand it, then study it again. Then study every aspect of your build and make sure you do not get 4 points. Now that you are sure your build will not achieve 4 points, forget the point system altogether and read the first section at the top of the form and realize that it says this:
"The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives reserves the right to preclude classification as a pistol with a “stabilizing braces” for any firearm that achieves an
apparent qualifying score but is an attempt to make a “short-barreled rifle” and circumvent the GCA or NFA"
In case you don't understand that part, it says:
"We (the atf) can call your weapon anything we want and charge you a tax, or even charge you with a crime based on what we (the atf) call your weapon, even if your score less than 4 points"

It’s scary that if it wasn’t for this video I’m not sure I would have known about the optic and no optic issue with A.R. pistols. Gun laws should be obvious and clear if we are going to have any at all. I understand limiting convicted criminals from access to some weapons but why create criminals out of people that you would normally rely on to defend your country and the foundations that build it.

I went to the range yesterday. I confirmed zeroes on nothin special but there was some awesomeness at 3 other firing points.
Homie brought out the M99. Other homie had a can on his SBR. Third one was rockin the binary like ammo was free. That’s not normal in my state. Awesome!
Whenever I drop the Franklin armory in at the range, I see dollar signs coming out of the muzzle. Seriously. That's why it usually stays in the safe

Very special agent Richard - my glock 22 and Beretta both have texture on the front strap of the trigger guard.
Wouldn't that make both illegal short barrel rifles because they're clearly designed to be fired with 2 hands? It's physically impossible to utilize the texture with only one hand, therefore it must mean it was designed to be fired with 2 hands.

My friend has this really cool Luger Pistol. then he comes out of the room with a wooden stock, I couldn't believe my eyes! I told him if the numbers match he'll never get it out of my hands! They were'nt matching but still a great score, now I had to explain that if he hooked the stock to the pistol "like this" it's a felony. He thought I was crazy until I explained the stupid laws concerning stocks on handguns. He didn't believe me when I told him the stock was worth as much as the gun. He had no idea of the value of this heirloom his father left him
Actually some Lugers are void of the NFA short barrel laws.
If it's an artillery or navy luger with original stock, it's perfectly legal.
Regular lugers with a stock are not without an SBR tax stamp. Even if they have a factory grip slotted for stock use.
I believe these were the qualifications for lugers last I checked.
Mauser C96s and tangent sight Hi Powers are exempt too. Different models are allowed used of repro stocks of factory design, while some are only ok with original manufacture stocks.
Once again just more confusion on the AFTs part.

0.1 inches is well within the margin for error on most tape measures, just remember that margin when you build your rifle

This is hilarious 🤣 and sadly true. I have all the “parts” (that I bought 2 years ago and life happens) to build a 300 blackout pistol, but I’m confused on whether or not I can build it. Are braces for AR pistols illegal now? Someone chime in here.
Here's a link to ATF's new pistol brace rule and the dreaded 4999 form to see if yours passes their test. I built my AR exactly how they show the example that's "legal".

download the atf form 4999, it's a little hard to understand. it is a point system. every part of your build and your builds accessories will be judged (given a point, or even 2 or 3 or 4 points) depending on how menacing the atf thinks your weapon and/or accessories is. If you achieve 4 points, your weapon is bad and you need to register it as a "short barreled rifle".
as far as your brace question, it depends on how long your brace is, dose it have a strap? is the strap long enough to wrap around your arm? is the strap on the brace or laying in a drawer somewhere? how much rear surface area does the brace have (the rear area that you could potentially brace against your shoulder, how long is the buffer tube it is mounted on, is it adjustable in length, etc etc.

in all seriousness, good luck. use a small brace with no rear surface area, make sure your brace has a long enough velcro strap that you could wrap it around your arm and actually use it. don't use a forward grip or any type of forward brace, don't use rifle type flip up sights.
want they (atf) really want is to know that it would be really uncomfortable or impossible for the user (you) to shoulder the weapon and use it for fast and accurate rapid fire, because if you could use it for fast accurate rapid fire and it has a short barrel you will most likely use its small size to sneak it in to the atf office and then use your fast accurate weapon to clean house.
