Loved the lobsters et al decor in the cupboard. It was so nice to see the holiday specialities slowly added to the daily life. So many UA-camrs were showcasing fully decorated homes right after Halloween. Your family is realistic thoughtful and caring a model worth following.

I have done house history of my childhood home. You need to find your hose on a census or in an old street directory which your local library should have. You might be amazed by how many people lived in one house. I too have been having sort outs because we hope to move next year. I thought I would get prepared but sometimes it takes ages because you find something long forgotten x

When I find myself sorting through a cupboard that needs a clean out, if I am sitting looking at it all after 30 minutes I say firmly ‘throw it all out, just get rid of it all 😆. Thanks for vlogmas! (You forgot to mention the 🐓🐓🐓)

I'm also a massive Tim Minchin fan. Me and my husband went to see him live a couple of weeks ago and he was absolutely brilliant, so funny and such a wonderful musician and lyricist. Mostly he madee laugh but I also cried at the lyrics to a new song that he wrote when his mum died recently. Having lost my sister earlier this year the way he writes about grief really struck a chord.
Yes, I like the new clock. That was such a big empty space before, and honestly I have been waiting for something to go up in that spot. Well done.
Regarding the book, One Day In December ... I am not a fan. Hope you are not disappointed like I was.

funny that you kept your stoma stuff. I also kept my stoma stuff and related things. have them in the same chest of drawers as you and are also far out of date. after my last surgery in october this year i needed gauze and looked for them in that drawer and then i had the same kind of sentiment. came across latex gloves and catheters that were way out of date ;) I now use the gloves to dye wool and other chores in and around the house ;) I only used the gauze as a filling material ;) I have had my stoma since 1975 now it just belongs to me. hope you all feel better soon and a late congrats to phoebe ;)

Hi Ali & Beautiful family. Greetings from Michigan (USA).We're supposed to receive loads of snow this weekend. Well, it's started already. A well-placed clock is such a necessity. I really like your new one. I've been making - from scratch - chicken (sorry Phoebe) noodle soup. He came home from work, he's on staff at the local University, and has picked something up. Eric has received his first two shots, but those darling students aren't always the cleanest. He wears a mask at work, and always does when he's away from home, but he still managed to get sick. I cleaned out several drawers myself today....something must be in the air....where's my mask? All the best, feel better.
We could definitely do with some of the medical adhesive spray in our household this week! I didn't know there was such a thing! Phoebe was so delighted with her chocolate treat wasn't she? Hope you all perk up over the weekend.

I was so confused for a moment when you were talking about using the spray for plaster. Thank goodness for Google. I was worried about you using a chemical on your body that was strong enough to take a plaster wall apart. 🤦🏻♀️😆

I went on a foray and actually found what I was looking for!!! advent miracle. Best thing I ever did was break up with Revlon60 and not have to worry about that... worry list is quite long enough.
