This delicious prawn curry is a treat! That joyful taste, colour & wonderful smell, makes you nothing but drool. Brilliantly complemented with beautiful Sri Lankan spices this prawn curry happily agrees with steamed rice or bread. It's so easy to prepare & ready to eat in 30 minutes.

** Ingredients **
** To season the prawns **
500 Grams prawns (cleaned and washed)
1 Teaspoon salt
½ Teaspoon turmeric powder
1 Teaspoon black pepper powder
** For the curry **
2 Tablespoons oil
8 Curry leaves
4 Pandan leaves (2cm thin slices)
½ Cinnamon stick
1 Teaspoon fenugreek seeds
4 Cardamom pods
3 Dried chillies
1 Onion medium size (chopped)
4 Cloves garlic (chopped)
1 Teaspoon ginger (2cm thin slices)
1 Teaspoon curry powder
1½ Teaspoons chilli powder
1 Tomato (chopped)
2 Green chillies (thin slices)
2 Red chillies (thin slices) - optional
1½ Cups coconut milk
1 Teaspoon salt
1 Teaspoon lemon juice
1 Tablespoon coriander leaves (chopped)

Hi Daily food recipes. I made your prawns curry and eggplant pickle for a friends gathering. They were delicious. Specially pickle was something new..since i add very thick coconut milk it lessened the prawn curry spiciness... now im gonna make fish buns for a picnic tomorrow..thank you so much for your delicious recipes ❤️❤️❤️
