Karen this is so true. What a great video. Thank you❤ When I keep my hair contained in 2 strand twist, my hair stays moisturized for days. My wash cycle is every 2 weeks and I do the Loc and seal with home made flaxseed gel. While hair is in twist I moisturized every 4 days. And you are right it does get frizzy when you moisturize the twist. I use a water based cream not water alone. That will be way too much frizz. I do have to re twist the front so it will look neat. But not back. I only wear my hair out on special occasions. Wearing it out every day means I have to moisturize everyday. More manipulation, more breakage. I’m on a cycle to grow out my hair so I choose contained hairstyles ❤
Yes! I try to keep my hair tucked away as well, and I love to twist it and leave it alone. I will sometimes slap a wig on when my hair looks like a frizz puff, especially if I have to record a video. 😂. Thanks for sharing!
I keep my hair contained in twist. I do the LCO method which works good for me. Remoisturize at least 2-3 times out of the week before I wash. Great video 😀

I use to just wash my hair condition it. Then blow dry my hair with a leave in conditioner after that put hair grease in and set it with a pony tail. Through out the week I would just add water until my next wash day. Also periodically I would just add leave in and water and reset my hair back into the pony tail until wash day.

Hey Valerie! I am releasing the long form more detailed videos of the two strand style in a few weeks, but this is a quick short. If I've been getting my hair done professionally in updos and don't really want to upset the style by moisturizing it every night, is that ok? I have CCCA in the crown pretty badly and thinning in the front as well so it's hard for me to style, on top of it being mostly 4b/4c and with it being so hot now. Thanks for these videos, you are such a blessing to the hair community!
Hey Banita! I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND which is why I noted in the video to minimize the use of water based products (like leave-in conditioner) on the hair, when you don't want to compromise the hair style so you right on track. Use oil instead if you need to nourish the hair. Hopefully you're CCCA is stabilized and your getting some treatment for it. Thank you so much for sharing 💜

Hey Gorgeous from Russia! My short hair was much easier to care for and I could apply moisturizer to it daily. Do you apply alittle styling product to help with maintain the curls?
@@KarenofCurlHouse hi Karen 🙋🏽. Of course deap conditioner then live in then gel. I think I many time to touch my hair. Early when I wasn't grey I used only leave conditioner and all was ok- was curly hair without anything. I'll try not to touch my hair so often. but if you use water or a mixture of glycerin to moisturize the curls, they fall apart. and that's the question? Thanks Karen for all 🌞
I am afraid to overload my hair by adding product daily. then I need to wash it often. but I'll try :) 😂😂😂. My experience with hair for 55 years. I am livin g in country with minimum black people. All I know only from internet. But of course my relatives from us always sent me product. But now I can bay it myself through the internet. Time was changed. Maybe I use not right gel I don't know. I have 3c 4a type law porosity hair medium texture
