      Bless her humble soul, she is a beauty, I would marry her if she is not. I am younger than her but she would make a good companion for me because I am very much into the knowledge of bringing back our old time traditions and is very fascinated by her work. My only dream is to leave the United States and settled myself in some real rural settings in my sweet island Jamaica and work the land and create things from the natural resources around me. I hope you invest in your aunt's business because it's pure ken and should not get lost to time.

On base we have Jamacian black castor oil (sunny Isle) and i started 7 days ago on my face and rub it into my whole stomach area. I have many GI issues and many tests and much money in medicine. Jamacian black castor oil has saved my life basically. Immediate relief and at one week i feel brand new first time in 7 yrs. I am very anti medication and have only ever been on medicine for my intestinal issues that started. I love this stuff. And i am sooo grateful for it. I will only use Jamacian black casor oil. This is the old fashion method that i was taught but i think that COLD PRESS is better as it preserves rather than destroys the elements in the plants during the boiling process. Wonderful people.

    • @myislandjamaica
      @myislandjamaica  3 роки тому +3

      I hear that but there is an argument that the boiled is more alkaline and so healthier for the hair.

    • @JahleeyahKalonji
      @JahleeyahKalonji 3 роки тому +3

      I always hear people with this cold process is better argument. Cold process has its benefits, same as using heat. There's an obvious benefit to making castor oil this way, plus our ancestors used what they knew and what was available to them. Did you know that coconut oil made with heat is way more moisturizing than the one done without heat. Heat may be "destructive" but we still love eating food cooked over wood fire, boiling bush tea, roasting yam/corn, we use heat/steam to make essential oils, do oil infusions etc. Everything has its place and benefits.

      Yes. You're right about the exercise portion of it, but a wooden stirring paddle is surely a better substitute for a stick...The difference between being able to prosper a lot or a little often times boils down ( no pun intended) to having access to equipment that makes the process more efficient.
