This game had so much atmosphere, something that all subsequent wario games seemed to lack and just went for full on goof. This really felt like an adventure through a mysterious pirate island, and the score helped a lot.
This game kicked my butt so hard as a kid. Seeing you breeze through levels that took me months to get past kind of broke 8 yo me’s heart. Just a little.

Nintendo needs to release a compilation of these Super Mario Land games for the switch or even remakes which worked out well like they did for Link's Awakening.

I stick with the cheat code: -Press Start to pause game -Press Select 16 times -When box highlighted, press and hold Up + A at the same time to increase lives remaining, coins, hearts, and time remaining to the max/infinity. Better than gambling for coins. I do that the entire time.
I remember doing this as well, cause farming 300+ coins with those bucket birds was a tad annoying. Yknow. The ones that land in front of you with a bucket & start chirping at you, so you throw something in & it drops 30 coins.

Did you know that in Course No.06, ground pounding will cause the coin holders in the sand to come out? You have to charge it quickly to get the coins.
I replayed this game sooooo many times. It was so cool that you could always get more or less coin and change your castle. Coolest alternate endings cause few games had this back then. :)

Unsure if Virtual Boy Advance works on Smartphones but it does work on computers. Runs Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance games. As for roms, I’d recommend Vimm’s Lair but again, I don’t know if it works on smartphones

There are techniques to at least predict once you get one bag where the money will be the other two times. I think there are only a set number of patterns, I remember being able to manipulate the minigame for a pretty good success rate at some point in time (not 100% though, more like 75%). However, this is a longplay, and it does not specify single segment. If it was done on emulation, there are lots of tools that can take the chance element out of games like that. Might even be as simple as recording takes and using the ones where he got them all right every time, discarding others. It doesn't say TAS either, though, so I can't really say which it is.

This game is so much fun. 10/10 The only strange thing about it is that Mario is his friend. That makes no sence. And one treasure is really hard to find. More Wario games please he is stronger than Mario with more fun/strong power-ups.
I felt good. It is an excellent game, very well done and especially creative, because Wario is not only an evil side of Mario, but also a character with its own characteristics.
