This vid is exactly what I was looking for to do this same service on my 2500. I appreciate the video without all the extra fluff, I'll be looking forward to other videos on your Ram. Thanks!
Yo. Great vid. I like that you did this from the ground. Thats whats up! Most of us dont have car lift. 2 question. How much money did this whole procedure run ya? Filter, gaskets, etc.
How much time did it take to do?
Preesh the vid. Best one out there.
Thanks bro! Just bought the whole service kit on rockauto for $40. The oil is the most expensive at $90. After setting all the bands and filled up the oil make sure you check the level in N also check if your TV cable need to be adjusted.
Don’t need a lift for a truck bro
Great video, thank you, you answered what i was looking for. so, i subscribed to your channel.
Can I ask you a question please? What is that ring? You put back in the pan after you cleaned it up thanks. I enjoyed your video.
A magnet to pick up any metal shavings
Good
Thank you for the video sir. Question for you. How many quarts of oil did you add before turning the truck on to check oil level? I appreciate your feedback
👋
My 07 Impala is only going forward in manual 1 and 2 and it also moves in reverse, just not drive. Could my forward band be broken?
Video look good but u messing the important info like how many QT need and the torque spec of pan bolts
What is the name of that specific spring at 4:33.. thanks in advance to who ever can point me in the right direction
3-4 accumulator spring
Brother donde consigo el spring ese
,,¿ y no gasket sealer..permatex??
do you check the level of transmission fluid on parking or neutral??
neutral always
Do the bands have to be adjusted even if the truck shifts perfectly fine? Mines shifts like new
I wouldn't touch it if it's shifting perfectly. Last time I did that I ruined my tranny
No if it shifts fine no need but why wait if your already there
Hey man so a friend didn’t know and he wanted to seal a leak on his transmission but he bought the wrong thing and he put a product called “BLOCK
SEAL Intake & Radiator
STOP LEAK” (he didn’t know) in were the transmission goes in and after put the oil.. and now he can’t go into gears and the truck stops… what can we do ? Thank you
Try flushing but sounds like it’s toasted
No year make or model of truck or transmission
its in the title? lol
It’s in the description
You have a great video... BUT you are leaving QUITE a few people in the dark here. Not even letting anyone know exactly how many quarts you put in, for one.. The TQ for the pan bolts.... Did you N check it OR did you leave it in park to check levels?? I would not recommend this video to people trying to find these questions.
I take that back.... this video is not good for anyone. not even cats.
You must be slow or never worked on a car? He walked out with 4quarts it’s an oil pan bolts 30ft/lb should suffice. He ran through the gears while it was warming up afterwards he checked the level while in neutral as he stated in the video
My 46re has no reverse but it engages ... can the rear band be loose ?
i have same problem just happened today any idea?
Broken spring.
Broken spring reverse is totally mechanical.
