Sorry guys this is somthing i need to be more clear about! I use the splints because my fingers dislocate NOT because there just bendy. If your fingers bend but don’t dislocate then it’s really not an issue. (Your most likely just hypermoblie it’s actually extremely common!) Splints are only needed if it causes you pain/discomfort or dislocates/ sublaxes etc ❤️

Totally going to get some! I’ve been looking for some that could be adjustable because my fingers swell sometimes so these are perfect! My pointer and thumb frequently dislocate while I’m writing so I’ll start out with two for those fingers. Glad to have a review!

Some get splits cuz they are so bendy all power/strength gets lost.

Would it help my thumbs, I’m hypermobile in all my fingers and toes but my thumbs are the only ones that will really painful pop in and out under a relatively small amount of pressure.

    • @ThirrinDiamond
      @ThirrinDiamond 3 роки тому +1

Yall are not wrong cus yall know why to respect it but many people that think like you have in the past not only stolen the braces but also malformed them (hammered them into a ring shape) and then only given them back after that when the person begs cus its medical and cost 200+$
So this type of mentality is definitely smth that should be checked and encouraged to have more respect for disabled people
Theres also the risk of if this becomes a trend then people will start selling luxury non medical versions for so much more expensive or worse cheaper or same price knock offs (non medical/custom versions) being sold that wont help people who need this for their disability
Its like you wouldnt go "omg that wheelchair looks so cool, i want one just for aesthetic" cus thatd be rude
So maybe think about that :)

@@maggiemuffin6878 or as another example you wouldnt say "while she's using it as a "wheelchair" they can be used as a regular chair"

      Theyre splints

    • @missskittles144

It depends on how often it happens. If you have it happen once or twice in your life, it’s probably harder to pop back in and requires going to the doctor. If it happens daily you wouldn’t have time to go to the doctor, and after they’ve come out that many times, they’d probably get easier to pop back in place and you’d know what to do by then

Thanks UA-cam for putting up the video. I'm not sure what they're rules are regarding demonetizing a video, maybe its due to the viewing audience - but might I suggest placing a button where the moderator can target their viewing audience of vlogs? ( just an idea for future updates ). I do understand where y'all are coming from but often times when subscribers do subscribe, its because they are dealing with whatever the vlog is about, and to place a ban on it, would not only limit the viewing audience but uneducate the populist by a large extent so kindly place a button or something, as this could indicate their viewing audiences while at the same time allowing free broadcasting., BTW the splints are beautiful.
P.S. This is a neurogenic bladder suffer and fighter/subscriber and viewer.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know you can get splints for your knuckles, I also have EDS, but no where nears as severe as you, I recently got "splints" for my knuckles they are more of an articulated brace, I usually put them on after any activity that messes my hands up, I usually leave them on for 25-35 minutes and the is sufficient for me to relive my pain, I do love your new splints, I probably will buy from her since ring splints aren't covered by my insurance and I'm on disability currently

Hello Amy! I’m very happy to learn new things! But, I have a question - how do You dislocate your fingers? Or maybe, what makes your fingers dislocate, how does that happen and how octem does it happen while doing these activities? Thank You!

Yep 925 sf is a pure sterling silver and they take longer to discolor (anything that has that should be stamped ) and is definitely good quality so that’s awesome 👏 (hehe I worked at a shop that sold jewelry in a gift shop manner so we weren’t just jewelry sellers but we knew those basics... my 925 stamped ring needs a good jewelry cleaning because I let it build up but that was after years of wearing them 24/7... I had to take them off for a job and I just haven’t had a chance to get them cleaned so I can wear it again (and the brooch that I got with the same stone).

How wonderful!! I have heard that they don't work well if they do at all. I have 8o%, am on tpn for 3 yrs. It is so frustrating to have to wait all day to eat again. I am hungry in my head all the time!!

I believe that Amy had a pacemaker already for that.. And it didn't work out for her. So she had to get it removed. She has old videos of the experience and being in the hospital getting it placed and everything.💜 Love that girl Amy! She is pretty remarkable and very inspiring!❤

Maija Criner-Harrison yes, she tried it twice but it didn’t help, and kept getting dislodged as well. But I think she has mentioned trying it one more time in the future when she is more stable health wise.

@@darkbluematter1753 The one I have is totally implanted and can not become dislodged. I'm sorry that it didn't work for her. It totally depends on why the stomach doesn't work.

Mary Johnson that’s cool! I’m really happy it worked for you. I have ineffective esophageal motility (stomach and intestines work okay) and I know they are trialing pacemakers for that condition as well, but no approval yet. It’s really amazing tech when it works.
