I’m pleasantly surprised by how informed he is
Dr. Mike throughout this entire video: "WTF is he saying? He is related to me right?"
lol poor guy, he'll learn.
Tbf he knows a lot more than a normal person his age. He definitely had above average knowledge about sex ed
he was actually pretty knowledgeable as an average person (not a doctor)
@@shadow_song
That's what i thought, too. He did pretty good.
"That also means if you're having sex in the hot tub"
"NO" - Uncle Mike coming out strong there 😂
Kudos Dr Mike for finding a fun way to share information that will be informative too many. Hopefully the right crowd sees it
"Condoms are the most effective form of birth control?"
Leage of Legends: *Am i a joke to you?*
Lmaoo
No condoms aren’t the most effective form of birth control. The only 100% effective form of birth control is abstinence
you got me dead with that joke
😂😂😂
League of legends, anime and kpop are the best birth control.
Dr Mike content gets more crazier and at the same time better.
It's very cool how open your relationship with your nephews and family is. I came from a sheltered home and I love open families where kids can talk to someone and feel relaxed and safe doing so.
He's so sweet for donating the money! His mother, who makes eggs like the vulva, raised him right!! 😇
Who makes eggs like the vulva💀
Your comment had me laughing.
Baaahahahs😂😂😂😂😂😂
That carrot-eating and chirping moment is def my doctor when I try to explain certain stuff lmao.
Yuppp. Sometimes I try to explain stuff and my doc is like “yeahhh but no” 😂
Just wanted to thank Dr. Mike’s nephew for donating the money to charity! That was a very smart decision, even if your mother would not agree, which I’m pretty sure she would agree you did the right thing.
Extremely pleased his first answer was “consent.” That is awesome! ❤
And the fact he said it with no hesitation was amazing!
I'm answering the questions as I'm reacting to the video, and "consent" was the answer that popped into my head immediately with "contraception" a few seconds after, and I'm a 23 year old seggsless virgin 😂
I don't know, i think it's weird. It would never occur to me to have sex WITHOUT consent. Of course i'm talking about indirect consent, because come on, what world do you live in that you have to explicitly ask for consent.
Either way, i view immediately thinking about consent as natural as.. idk, immediately thinking about making sure all the women in your area are comfortable with your presence. It's an example that doesn't really exist in real life (i hope not) and that both got something to do with women is merely a coincidence, there's no connection or importance there. What they do have in common, is that i believe immediately thinking about either of the two, especially if we're talking about a kid, shows clear signs of harmful conditioning.
@@captainobvious8037 What's wrong with explicitly asking for consent? And what do you mean, "harmful conditioning"? Dr Mike asked him what he needs to consider before having sex - if he doesn't obtain consent, he's a criminal, and if he doesn't think about contraception, he ends up with a child before he's ready. He's a college student, not a child, most college students have sex.
How. It’s literally the bare minimum
"wow ur a bot" certified 19 year old lol
Sad that you think knowing about bots is a new term
@@southcoastinventors6583lmfao they never said it was a new term, it’s just something 19yr olds (and just teens) in particular say it a lot more than your average joe. why are u trying to argue w ppl
@@violetmaritime I have heard that term for awhile as way to describe a fake person or highly scripted person both online and offline for at least 20 years.
@@southcoastinventors6583 alright gramps
😂😂😂
That enthusiastic "consent!" with no hesitation. Great guy!
I like how Mike always tries to put his nephews on the spot and trip them up, and they always end up roasting _him_ instead
That was his take-away....you can't get pregnant if you have sex in a hot tub 😂😂😂 Dr. Mike : "NO!"
I know. Teenage logic is hilarious. 😂😂😂
It's giving subtle "not in MY hot tub, you don't!" 😂
This was amazing! First off, Stephen looks SO much like Dr Mike! They have the same mannerisms, facial expressions, body language. I am impressed with how much he knows & his maturity on this very important topic. And that he gave up the money to Animal charity blew my mind! I'm very impressed. His parents raised him well AND he has a great mentor in Uncle Mike! Well done!
Bruh the last question about donating the money to charity… “do you wanna be a decent person or would you rather look like a selfish pos?” Lmaooo
Mm it’d take a brave person to say I’ll take the money on camera. I think he should have said “that’s the correct answer you win another 100!” Then given the 9000 to charity and 1000 to his nephew
Are you going to let me get away with $900 or do you let me pay 10x..
If they're putting it in his name, then it's a tax writeoff anyways.
Prob still worth a hundred or so(?) if he's working, but who knows.
as a young adult who hasnt been employed for 2-3 months and is trying to save up for their own place, id take the $900 and run
It'd be a tough decision when I was a college student. $900 is a lot of money. I hope Mike gives him a couple hundred anyway.
5:02 “I lost my bear-ries long ago” 😭
I laughed so hard but also felt for Bear 😭😂
This was fantastic! Played this for my teenage son which made for a fun, lighthearted way to discuss all these important topics. Also love that he could play along and see if he could beat your nephew 😂 spoiler alert : they were pretty evenly matched. Thank you to both yourself and your nephew for this needed content!
he seems like a very respectful guy who doesn't get embarassed talking about this stuff, it's cool to see how much he's grown. Also loved that he instantly shouted CONSENT! when asked about the c's - we taught this generation well about this.
To be fair, wasn't really that fair play to ask if he wanted to keep or donate the money on camera - what was he supposed to do :D
I feel like this guy knows more about the female anatomy and overall sex ed than like 90% of american men
It's not that hard 😂
I’m convinced it’s bc of Mike
We need to normalize sex ed and I feel like we should learn about both anatomies of each body because it's so important.
@epikm161 that's what she said
@@vibrantgleam Just knowing basics about everyone's bodies is so helpful. Like I'm female and I had mostly guy friends growing up so I knew about the "accidental erections" being genetically random and sometimes stress based, which helped me navigate conversations with female friends when they would talk about a guy "adjusting" and them seeing it as being gross in class. Same with when I would get my period my guy friends learned about the symptoms and why I'd be nauseous and have to go to the nurse (I had clinically bad cramps so I'd need to go to the nurse and literally sleep it off on the first day some months). They also learned what tampons and pads were. I also learned a lot about guy's JOing habits and their thought processes and stuff. Nothing was "taboo" for conversations and now they're better husbands and boyfriends for it to the women in their life and I'm the same with my relationships.
2:29 thank you for the laugh to whoever edits these
Always great seeing Mike interact with his nephews, very kind of him to give away his portion so it can go to charity x10 more.
“Are you crying about the long acting reversible contraceptive” IM LOLING🤣
Nephew did well! Not just the questions, but appearance in front of potentially millions.
Love so many things, his comfort talking to his uncle, him saying consent so fast, his thought process, him making dr mike nervous saying its ok to have sex in a hot tub and him giving the money to charity. Great kid, raised well
I lost it when he said “cattle” 😂
In some cultures, since exchange of cattle is part of a wedding, it's actually not wrong. 😛
This has to be one of the funniest family bonding activities I’ve ever seen, you two must be very close!
Lmaoo dr.mike “NOOO that’s not what the question said” 😂
Mike just smirking and eating the snack is priceless.
I love that you guys are comfortable to talk about all this with each other ☺️
Such a brilliant video! I love how comfortable you both were talking about these things and not being embarrassed to get something wrong - simply learning 😊 Great job guys!
Dr. Mike: “School taught you something at least.” 😂
2:26 professional yapper right there and im all here for it
Mike’s look-to-camera reactions are LAUNCHING ME
It's him crunching on the carrot for me 😂😂😂
"Right down to the glans, actually." OMG, you're both hilarious.
Love the banter between Steven and his goofy Uncle. What a great relationship you two have.
Nephew: *bear babies*
Bear: *I lost my bear babies long ago.*
He was more educated than I expected, good job! ❤🎉 I liked the fast “consent” answer 😊
I love this uncle-nephew relationship 😊
I am glad he got most of the questions right! There are a lot of people who either weren't paying attention, weren't taught anything at all, or weren't taught the correct information to begin with, and now we have the highest rates of syphilis infection since the early 20th century *shudder*
Let’s have more videos like this. It was informative but fun. I also loved the Uncle face that Dr Mike gives his nephew 😂😂
He’s like a mini Mike! This is a great video. Dr Mike is definitely a very cool uncle.
he looks more and more different every video 😂
Yeah, puberty does that
he is 19 not 13@@greenLimeila
@@Aarnyx Puberty starts around 13 but it can last until about age 25 in males

@@charlotte_theonlyyeah😊
Effective not affective.
I also thought he'd say "abstinence" but he must have gone for #2 instead lol
lmao Steven is sassy with his uncle when he asks these questions, I love it!
I don't know what is better, the sex education that Dr. Mike performs or the uncle/nephew connection. Absolutely loved this video. Respect! Tons of respect!
Underrated episode
Didn’t notify when it was posted
I didn't get the notification either. Glad I finally saw this. XD
What a treat this was to see you with your nephew Steven. You must be proud he decided to donate the funds.
11:38 Mike's so Russian just was bored and decided it was time for some pain😂😂😂
The hot tub disclaimer convo at the end 🤣 What a cool kid to answer these questions on the channel.
Make this a series please! Everyone needs to know this stuff to be safe!!
8:36 Bro was way too comfortable saying that
vagina is a medical term my guy
“Consent… cattle… cows…” made me laugh so hard.
11:18 I thought man was going to say “that’s what I USE”
💀💀
Abstinence is cool and all, but learning extra precautions is just as helpful. Thanks for this video, Doctor Mike!
5:44 your nephew said the right thing but you just explained the mechanism behind it 😂
9:09 he's thinking Volvo of the chicken farmer next door 😅
I feel like the IUD real world efficacy needs to be studied more because too many women I know have stories where they have fallen out of place (anecdotal evidence, I know) but almost always when this topic comes up someone says it didnt work for them. Im a science teacher btw so I’m here for educational purposes and always willing to learn!
I and the only other IUD user I know personally are doing fabulous on it.
FYI if you read this Mike, "bot"- short for robot- is a term used in multiplayer video games (especially shooters or fighting games) to refer to fake players controlled by a computer, used to make it seem like there are more players and so that the real players get easy targets to kill. For this reason, "bot" is also used as an insult to bad players who are easy to win against.
So he is saying you make it way too easy.
Aaaaaw, little Steven is getting all grown-up and even cuter somehow! And quite funny too! I wonder if it has something to do with the timing of this video. Like, I can imagine his mum calling Mike and saying stuff like: "Mike, I think Steven has a girlfriend/ boyfriend these days, could you tell him about birds and bees again?" 😂❤
6:11 I’ve gotta say the dad joke was so funny, but his nephews face was way more funny. I feel like even people who dislike dad jokes or consider them cringe, still find it kinda funny.
It's funny that, what his nephew said is true for Seamen too
"Omg youre a bot" 🤣i died
This is my favorite video you’re ever posted and I’ve watched you for years. Idk yall have good banter and he’s adorable lol
12:27 Terrified-uncle moment 🤣🤣🤣
He saw his life flash before his eyes
Hahaha so true
Love the fact he takes the time to make him think of the meaning instead of just explaining
“Bet” is the words he said when challenged to this
I love when you feature your nephews!!! So funny, absolutely brilliant video
