These videos don't usually get many views, but what do you think about making more nostalgic videos like this one?
P.s can you spot all good bad jokes in the videos? :p
congrats on 10k subs :D
Please keep Making these once in a while....it's a Treat for Nokia fans... ❤️
We need more of these kinda videos👍🙂
From where you bought this phone? I want to buy this phone plz reply me
Yes we need retro device unboxing also
All this time, I thought Samsung was the first to implement variable aperture on cameras on the S9 and S9+ but they were beaten by Nokia first since 2009. Mind blown. Thanks for this.
I'm surprised too!
Yes but the amoled oh yess i like more than the cameras, btw it is useless feature samsing ditched it
samsung already implemented variable aperture with m8910 pixon 12, in 2009
but m8910 came out a few months after n86 was launched
I still remember my friend showing his Nokia 6600, and having a boss attitude.
I love 6600 phone
I had it & I still searching for it...
I Have the 6600 sliding one but got water damaged. It was a beast.
I owned a 6600 and the joystick got damaged so sold it
I had a 6600! The soap!
back when each phone had its own personality... (edit: thanks for the likes, good people!)
At this point of time, nokia already being boring phone company, they dont even change theme for one phone to another.
This phone had no personality compared to the predecessor such as nokia n80 or even nokia 3650.
@@raka9220 I think the term "Phones" in this place mean between each phone companies. You can't expect Nokia to shapeshifting their phone on every single release, No? And beside, What we've got right now are basically a "Candy Bar" for phones after one another. If it weren't for branding or advertisinng, I can't really distinguished the different between something like Samsung, Xiomi, Vivo, Oppo, Mii or buttload of phones we've got on market nowaday.
@@FragileBitch back then nokia change phone design every release(even had different pre installed themes too), nokia got lazy after n95.
But i understand, the time for experimenting over form factor and "personality" is over, nowadays manufacturer just gave us "blank" phone and customize it ourself.
Fr. Now every phone is a clone of other.
@@swarnavkarmakar3356 Spot on. Very boring.
It feels like I traveled back in 2009-10 when Nokia used to be leading in mobile brands. Damn it's nostalgia.
Feel like crying watching this 🥺😭
Sometimes I wish we could go back to this time, when phones were like this. It was much simpler. These phones are aesthetically more pleasing, also. They have character
Me too, oh veru beautifull memorize at that time. My first phone was nokia
I agree. I hate that we're at the design of the simple rectangular slab of glass. Folding phones are nice, but they're expensive. I miss the era of smartphones that weren't touch screen phones.
Dual audio, Camera backcover, kickstand
old Nokia design team really far ways ahead than its rival.
Nope, the Sony Ericsson w995 also had stereo audio and kickstand, and cyber shot phones did feature camera cover
@@kevinhernandezarango5005 So you mentioned 2 diferent kind of devices to keep up with this one which btw has an Oled screen?
@@absolutium well i'm not saying those models were superior to this one, what i'm saying is that nokia wasn't the first.
@@kevinhernandezarango5005 yes
@@kevinhernandezarango5005 but cyber shot and walkman series always in different experience because camera and audio segment sony is master
Please continue to make these, they're much appreciated! Seeing these videos reminds me of the good times of dope and wild designs. Also , that White N86 is a big flex ! Props ! As you noted, the design and materials still hold up, this was peak Symbian/ Nokia, which makes one wonder,. since @Nokia today has been updating some of it's classic 'basic' phones, surely they could look towards past gems like the N86 , the E7, N8, and others, in building their future flagships. At the very least ..bring that camera lens cover back!
I will try to cover as many classics as possible :)
oled screen in 2009 was unimaginable, that too in a 2.6 inch screen..It was freaking awsm that time..One of the best
I LOVED my slide phone back in the day!!! I got it out yesterday when my current phone needed a replacement and I genuinely wish they still made sliders. FAR more satisfying and less cheap feeling than the flip style... Please keep making these. Seem to get a lot of love on this video.
The amoled panel is much better than today's nokia phones Lcd
haha it was a nice panel for its time...
NOKIA N80 is also an amoled screen.
True 😂😂
@@KEEPMYiNYUSWTCHUT The first AMOLED screen on a phone was on the N85 in 2008. N80 got a simple TFT Screen back in the day.
Pure Nostalgia! Love these types of videos. ❤️
I loved this phone so much back in the day. N8 had the same charm as well.
The Nokia N86 looks incredible indeed. I love it. Even though they are much smaller in size, they are the most durable phones I've ever seen. Even I also use a Nokia Asha 202 Phone and I bought it back 8 years ago, I can't believe my eyes it's STILL WORKING Perfectly. Much worth than all those iPhone 12 Pro Max and other stuff. Awesome Video Brother, Congratulations!
High quality video! Keep up the good work.
Just discovered your channel today and I am already addicted to it.
Keep it up buddy !
Mine was black. All the good old memories!!! Subbed! 😜
goodness 😍 this is love, please, take me back! when features where competitively rich
I absolutely loved this phone back then. I used it for 2 years. Camera was amazing for its time.
Love reaction button on UA-cam needed for this video ❤️❤️❤️
Nokia Legend
Nice video Brother
My dream phone back then. It would still be awesome to have it now.
Amazing work!
Appreciate your Efforts, Watching from 🇺🇸, My Favourite 1 👌
My god how much I miss these days when phones were exciting .
Now phones are dull lifeless things.
thank you Abdulla for bringing the good days back.
I had this device in dark colour. Refrained from clicking the video as I'd be upset of losing that device :D but couldn't resist the nostalgia.
Bought this after selling 5800 XM for the camera. The metal bezel around the front used to lose it's dark colour. Used to have other Nseries themes installed on this device by pizero. The breathing light of the menu key was a pleasure seeing at night. In India, they included a leather holster in the box when I bought. Wished it had the swipe to navigate on the D-pad like the E72 in those days. Cheers for the video! :)
It was my dream phone back then still love it ❤️❤️
Mr 10k ,Mabrook!! Aaah ,give me a removable battery plus Ovi store plus Symbian that should have gone further!! Aaah sadly those days are gone!! Loved the build and design!!! Banging Vid ,this kind of review is Iconic!!
Estou impressionado com a tela e câmera deste celular! A era Nokia visionária!
Nokia is the best phone company ever.
Each model had its own design . Each model was unique . Nowadays you're getting tons of phones that look the same and have the same features. I really miss that era ...
I miss Nokia and love OS Symbian so much..😌 please come back !
Oh my god.. I owned it. Such a nostalgic moment..❤
This phone is really interesting, my father's friend has that phone, and I'm really interested in Nokia phones since, new subscriber here by the way
That is a really good camera quality.
once my dream phone...
thanks for the video lots of memories...
damn, those still shot samples are astonishing. the fact that this phone was released a decade ago.
I still have this phone today! On of my favourite. I really like the display and the dual slide design. Still using it for playing music. And the cool thing is, it still have FM transmitter
How much u paid to buy the phone?
@@battleaxe1234 not much, its around 3$ or 35000 rupiah in my country from junk dealer. I fix it cable flex for another 2$ and then, it working perfectly. Well its 8 years ago but the phone still rocking today.
@@aldiasyarif7920 sama dari Indonesia mas. Baru beli kemarin, kondisi mulus beli cuman 120k. minus tombol on off, servis ke konter cuman 20k. Wkwkwk
@@sugab2047 mayan tuh bro, yang saya sih cukup tua ini n86 nya hahha. Mau nyari lagi yang beda warna kalau udah santai wkwkw.
I loved this phone.. amazing phone for what it was! Just a really well built phone!
Haha your comparison point with Android were epic👍🤣
I still own my Nokia 5310 XpressMusic back when I purchased those phone in 2009. Those phone accompanied me in my junior high periods. Time flies so fast🥺
Nice to see a very important part of Nokia those time many of us mostly used Nokia Phones I called that time The Nokia Era
I'm glad i got recommended your channel, I'm loving this type of video, looking at older tech is always a fun thing for me.
Happy to have you amongst the community Juan :)
Thanks for such a great video. I've always wanted to use a nokia N series but that ship has sailed.
Wow,, it reminds me of my uncle... This feels great seeing a video about good old nokia.....
I remember this phone fondly indeed. It was the last device I used before switching to a 3GS.
The N86 was so fast and it felt quite ahead of it’s time really.
Great camera, stereo speakers… A headphone jack? What?
Pretty sure I had an 8GB card in mine but can’t remember now.
Anyway, I loved that phone.
Man, I just want those old days to come back 😊
Hello Sir. im a small time youtuber.. and currently working with nokia as there sales promoter here in qatar.. new sub here in your channel. More power
This was my Dream phone Still today
I always wanted this phone
Damnn those photos still look decent for its age
Sample images are excellent
Nokia was ahead of its time... my fave was and still is the lumia series 1020 can't wait for that...
Awesome!
I had ever owned n95 2gb, n95 8gb, n82 and many more symbians phone. And still love them. Now I try to find this phone to become my secondary phone. Love you Symbian. Hope Nokia Will remake them with new features
I can still remember back in the days when I had that phone it was absolute blast! The very next year i.e 2010 during a trip to Nepal's capital Kathmandu, I lost that mobile at Pashupatinath temple 😅
Ita was priced around 24k ₹/ 600USD during its launch 2009.
Wow damn really that expensive
Tks for sharing your experience
The photos taken by it were outstanding considering it's time
I have a Nokia N8. videos taken from N8 , playing in Android phone quality is superb.
Yes.
I can purely say, money can buy happiness.
Noko❤️
Finaly i have one. 😍😍
My best Nokia smartphone. I had E70, N95, N85, but N86 was "the" phone. So nostalgic review. So, Nokia first implemented variable aperture, AOD, this was first all glass (front side of slider) phone. I remember spending lot of time finding cracked versions of all apps on internet. Remember "Certificate expired!" message. That was times :)
Regards from Dubrovnik/CRO
These phones from Nokia represented the transition from standard keypad phones to the current smartphones. Later, the screens got bigger and they gained touch feature.
I have this phone in my college days. So many memories. I miss those days and i miss my friends 😥😥😥😥
Definitely do a camera comparison with x20,8.3
This video brought back some nice memories. Still have my N86 in my phone collection. Much more solid built compared to the previous N85.
It was the last swan song for the N series sliders, and it was great :)
what's better n96 or this?
@@ChrisTian-sd5yq Since this isn't a daily usable phone anymore, but rather a collector's item it doesn't matter much anymore. But in terms of spec the N96 has a slightly bigger screen and 16GB internal.
But the N86 has an AMOLED screen, faster processor, better camera and better battery.
Just wondering whether HMD have reached out to you with an offer to help advertise their phones/brand? If they haven't, they are missing a trick.
HMD are dumb on advertising. In the PH, they installed a foreigner COO instead of a native filipino that can fully understand filipino mindset
@@robertanthonybermudez5545 agree with you.
Tagalog problems 🧏♂️
@@swarnavkarmakar3356 😆
The best Nokia keypad phone I ever used 💕💕💕💕💕crazy camera
great rev bro! can u do a n86 vs n96 ? plz
Lovely Model ❤️
User removable battery, dual speakers, integrated kick-stand and lens cover, dedicated camera button ... Let the good times roll!
Thank you
Revisiting the good old times.. miss those times..
At that time it was dream to buy this kind of phone.
I still use N96 ,battery lasts 3 days,i was tired of all the apps and started using it 3 months ago.i complitely recomend it if only was new,but its 12 years old
This is such a cool phone! The camera sounds impressive for the time. Didn't know there were variable apertures on older phones. So Samsung S series wasn't the first then.
With lightroom the photo still awesome
Did you say AMOLED Screen?... OMG I want this phone.. I was all looking at the screen though out the video... Thanks man!
The switch from standard TFT displays to Amoled though. It was like man discovering fire compared to man walking on the moon. Colors we're popping.
Still Looks great today
That hello on the box is now the hello on the start screen of iOS when upgrading to new iOS version. Hahaha. Looks like phones today are now repeating the history with few tweaks. Thanks to Nokia.
Classic Nokia phone is amazing. 2 weeks battery life is why I love my Nokia
Fabulous love nokia...
I want that phone 😭😭😭
Not the phone but the era .
Then buy it from eBay
haha me too
Mee too
I've always wanted that phone
I had one and it is very nostalgic where in I can play Java Games and HD games on it.
Hd? You can play hd only on newer symbian phones like n8,e7
this was my dream phone
One of the features I absolutely loved on the Symbian devices of those days is the ability to set up an alarm and turn off the phone. You can't do this with "modern" smartphones anymore. But you could do that with a Symbian like this. And even when the battery was almost dead, it would still wake you up.
Still using one of these with a CFW as my daily phone since 2017.
I had the N81..🙂..those were legendary days..😕❤️❤️😥😥
Bro have you Nokia 6120 classic ?, if you have this phone please could you make the video ?
Definitely do a camera comparison
Always loved Nokia phones. Always reliable, well build, quality devices. I bought my first Nokia phone over twenty years ago and never looked back...
King of phones
So many cool things are crammed into the cosiest space of our palm.
It's an absolute delight!
nokia phones were way ahead of it's time , it still today is sliding buttons controls , camera stand to place your phone and watch video or anything , even we still don't have something like that till this date
The first phone that I bought from my own salary. All others before this were hand me downs
Nokia is emotion ♥️
are these phones still available on any markets or kinda black market ?
Always -❤️
Most beautiful phone , Nokia love you
I didn’t even know they had a NOKIA N86 (N series)..........they should of continued making them!🙂
my parents had a nokia 6111, to me it was the coolest phone back in the day, i felt like i was living in the future, the sliding mechanism was so satisfaying, we used to call those sliders phones "soap phones" here in brazil cause they have the shape and slip like soap
