The cosmetic chemists/formulators from Chemist Confessions did a deep dive on neck creams going over studies on them. A couple of non skincare tips for helping with neck line prevention include using an adjustable/ergonomic laptop stand so you're not looking down at it. And also, when using your phone to hold it/bring it up instead of looking down at it. Some other neck creams that some skincare channels have recommended include one from k-beauty called Medi-peel collagen naite thread neck cream. It has those stretchy threads that some folks like in their products. Dermelect has one called Self Esteem Neck Firming Lift Professional Strength (one in a tube and one in a tub). A more expensive one than the Strivectin called Neocutis Neo Firm. And a cheaper one called Baebody neck cream. Also a temporary lifting one from Drmtlgy called neck contouring serum with the ingredient pullulan.
I like the Strivectin product. I've been using it for a few years now. If you are paying $100 for it, you're doing it wrong. ;) It goes on sale once or twice a year for 40%-50% off. That's when I buy it.
I used Crepe Erase, and it worked for me, but when I finished the tube, I switched to Gold Bond and it worked just as well for a fraction of the price. Still using the same tube 2 years later. Don’t know if it is peptides, but it makes a difference.
I know this wasn’t a topic discussed on the video, but to start off I respect and value your work as a dermatologist. I am all about making sure my skin is nice and soft, but not just facial skin. Why do I bring that up? Well, so it happens a few weeks ago that I had a discussion with one of my friends who is going to college right now. She is struggling with dry skin, but it isn’t on her face. I know that as a dermatologist, the struggle is real. no matter what shoes you choose to wear to your office or even if you do online content, you probably are up all day, consulting with patients who have skin barriers and other skin problems. I may not understand the struggle, but there are plenty of Durhams on UA-cam that can attest to long days of seeing patients and wanting to relax and suit their skin. Specifically, my friend happens to be struggling with dry heels, because she puts on lotion, but it doesn’t seem to be helping her. I recommended her to watch your videos, and she asked me to ask you if you could do a video discussing the best solution for a hard skin on the feet and the heels that probably isn’t lotion. Even something as simple as a review of the brand kerasal, and how that brand has helped you personally, or maybe some suggestions that perhaps I can give her. One thing is for sure, though, she doesn’t have eczema, but simply dry skin. I would really appreciate it, and I’m sure other people besides my friend who have a similar struggle could appreciate a video that could probably help them.
Red light therapy gave me melasma. This is a possible side effect that I have never seen mentioned on UA-cam. I am speculating that my melasma surfaced because I am on HRT. I use sunscreen religiously, and my skin was clear prior to using a red light mask on clean skin per the instructions. 😢
I’ve only started using sunscreen on my neck within the last few months because I just turned 40, and totally realized most of the lines are from sun while driving 😢 I never realized the sun visor was allowing sun on my neck all these years 👎🏻 SPF every day!!
Would you recommend the cure red light therapy over omnilux? Unfortunately it’s only a year old my Omni lock Max and it’ll just turn on and not stay late. I contact the customer service and gotten no reply.
Great video and I love the other product options as well..can’t wait to try some of the others you recommended!! My chest looks terrible😢. I would LOVE any tips you might have🙏🏼
Hi I prefer chemical sunscreen but after few reapplication it burns my neck please recommend gentler sunscreen sometimes I use chemical for my face and mineral for the neck
Well my thoughts 💭 I tried Neutrogena Collagen Bank Moisturizer, and while it does a decent job of moisturizing and providing SPF 30 protection, I have some concerns about its ingredients. The moisturizer contains Avobenzone, Homosalate, Octisalate, and Octocrylene, which are chemical sunscreens. These ingredients can be irritating to sensitive skin and have raised some health concerns. Additionally, Benzyl Alcohol is included, which can be drying and irritating for some people. Overall, while the product works well for hydration and sun protection, the presence of these potentially harmful ingredients makes me hesitant to recommend it wholeheartedly. If you have sensitive skin or are cautious about chemical ingredients, you might want to consider other options.
Ji BD, This is the 5th message to you, requesting where you bought your pink fingerless UV long sleeve protective driving gloves. Why don't you reply to your followers???
It wld be appreciated if you slowed down your speaking just a tad… 😬 no offense intended. Your energy is so hyper and intense it feels so quiet once your video is over…❤
Tap the upper corner of the bideo and select the settings ivon that looks like a little gear. It will display a list of options and playback speed is one. You can slow playback to .75 or even .5 I usually select .75 for videos that are too fast for me.
I use copper peptides every other night and retinal the other night on my neck. Plus the red light therapy. It works well for me.

Could you please review red-light masks for the face? Love the channel. Thanks
Like the Strivectin a lot though I mix it with a little almond oil as it’s quite a stiff cream.
I used that Strivectin for 10 years and never did a Damm thing. Go for neutrogena.
Did not do anything for me either
I love the Strivectin!
Some how it’s working for me too… it’s really expensive but I think it’s worth it! I am going to try some of the others the Doc recommended as well❤️
The Go Pure one is worth trying. I do notice my neck looks worse if I run out and switch to something else.
StriVectin s***

In my 50's and my area of concern is the neck. Yes please tell us more!
Is there a notable difference between the Ordinary's Matrixyl and the Timeless version? Is the Timeless version worth the extra $$?

As someone who’s neck & chest started looking crepey and red and spotty at 40, Use sunscreen every single day!
