I love the “uh, um, uh” She uses as a tactic to annoy Amber and her lawyer. I hope she’s using it as a tactic because it’s very effective for a narcissist to get triggered when they have to wait for somebody to make their point.
Hot tip for dealing with people like her: become a broken record. They will try to twist and squirm and restructure facts and conversations - if you continue to repeat your exact question and refuse to be distracted, they’ll panic and likely attempt to flip out on you…usually, holding your ground and refusing to be intimidated forces them to run away from the conflict. Be warned, though - they’ll shut it down by being entirely dismissive of you and your question…but it’s your sign that they’re being intentionally evasive and they know you know the truth. That’s WHY they invalidate your question. Remain even tempered and focused. They won’t crack, exactly, but you’ll keep your sanity longer.
She’s skanky but it’s a fascinating case study of skanky, cruel, narcissistic behaviour and how it affects a life. ICK.
This woman is pure evil. She tried her best to ruin her ex husband’s life and it severely back fired.
She is one of the scariest people I have ever seen. No exaggeration, no jokes, but absolutely true. She scares the shit out of me.

Actually. After watching the Virginia trial then seeing this. Just wow. And Only gets upset because of her birthday. Not the "abuse".
She crys at ANY mention of her Birthday Party, yet when talking about abuse she is normal. Its ALL about AMBER! What a Narcissist. This DEPO is only 3 months after TRO yet she cannot remember a lot of stuff, and when talking about Abuse she is just naunchalant and casual, but in court, 7 years later she is crying about everything.
She is such a child, and also more upset that JD didnt go to coachella with her⁉️she is like a petulant baby, but so much damage she has caused because she did not get her own way. Plus what's with the smirking excitedly at the photos of coachella?

The cell phone conversation drives me crazy! She claimed she didn't know how to activate her new phone on her account, but then talks about all the previous phones she smashed because she has "bad luck". She sounds pretty experienced at getting new phones to me!

Beat me to it! Surprised JD's lawyer didn't pick up on that, i.e. ask her how all those other times she was able to activate new phone on the "family plan."🙄
She also talks about how she couldn’t sync her phone to her computer but later talks about how she used her iPad for texting… so wouldn’t her iMessage on her iPad receive the imessages from her phone? Like she’s playing so dumb
@@nora__ she has that phone. She put in a bag of rice and JD’s security person who went to retrieve his phone when she threw it over that balcony testified to that. She just didn’t want to turn that device over. I am so sick of her.

A couple of things I’ve noticed in this depo, first she stated in her testimony in the trial no one could touch her because of ptsd and yet she has no discomfort when her lawyer grabs her mic right next to her breast. Second when she is supposedly reading the document she looks confused, these are documents submitted several moths in advance. Did her attorney not give her a copy to read? Non of this makes sense. Lastly, if we have to hear one more time about her 30th bday I would want to…..JD is beyond patient, that’s all I can say about that

As female DV survivor, I know from experience that I never acted like her, so close to the "incident" she claims!! It took me yrs to be able to talk about my abuse. She is way too calm now and then fakes tears during the trial?? Give me a break. She is the abuser, acts, and behaves like my ex-husband in her testimony and actions!! I will continue to pray for Johnny for winning the appeal, healing, peace, happiness, and prosperity in all that he does!!🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💖💖

I know my ex-husband's Social Security number... Petty sure most married people do. Maybe it's different for women bc we have so many more hoops to jump thru once we take "his" last name? I've also never had an issue switching to a new phone. If I knew my dad's b-day, seems like I was good. Maybe I'm just smarter than scamber
Right? No way in hell would she talk to her abuser the way she does in countless audio clips! I know I wouldn't if I planned on seeing the next day!
My prayer for Johnny is that he forgives himself sooner rather than later! It took me a good 7 or 8 years to forgive myself for "allowing" the abuse. I imagine his healing might be delayed or at the very least disrupted by this year.
It took me years and a lot of therapy to deal with even talk to anyone about my experience. But not everyone is like me.
I don’t know how I look when I talk about that shit…sometimes I’m numb, sometimes I’m crying….even shaking while the other times I’m cold……my problem with AH was always the truth. None of her stories makes sense
The fact that Amber is not facing significant prison time for repeated physical abuse and repeated perjury is truly tragic.
it's amazing how her story has gotten bigger and more grotesque. It began with 3 incidents to the insane over the top amount of now countless times during trial. Her story is constantly evolving and changing. She is a piece of work.

I worked for a wireless company for 12 years and text messages/photo messages are kept by the carrier for a minimum of 5 years. That was as of 2012 standards. And if she knew her log in to her backup, then she would have been able to log into her new phone.. she’s a liar!
Good point. It was obvious she was lying anyway. And there's no way only Johnny had the,track my phone on his phone only either. She didn't want to hand over her gadgets because she knew she had some seriously incriminating stuff on there.
@@carolinecoy3164 I think it’s gross that they were not able to get access to her devices. Yeah like I was saying they could have got what was sent and received over whatever wireless network she had, but I really wish they would have pushed harder for access to her devices/cloud. I think that would have shut her down 100%. But now we have the loser Dan Wootton wanting to apologize for getting involved in JD’s personal life. He can stick his apology! Too little too late! In my opinion I think Dan writing trash was put pressure on JK Rowling and it didn’t help him with the Fantastic Beast franchise. I just hope JD’s found happiness.. 🩷

She also stated in episode #4 deposition that JD kept his weed in his office, the office that connected all the PHs, claiming it gave Lily-Rose easy access to his stash. So why would JD need to bring some up from the downstairs storage area where wine was kept? Why didn't she just go grab some from the office herself?🙄

For a supposedly extremely abused victim with PTSD, she sure handles being touched well. Like, no flinching or scooting back, or politely asking not to be touched. It's like she doesn't have PTSD at all.
Not to mention how intimately close those touches are.

He covers up her mic, which is right on her chest and she's leaning all the way into him, and she's perfectly fine with that but on the stand in Virginia she made a big production out of how she's had to make rules for everyone about how she can be touched, etc. She's so full of crap.
I wonder whether this point could be brought up during appeal - with a clip of this depo to prove it

The best was when she (terribly acted) backed away from JD all scared(for the cameras) when she was leaving the stand.
But she forgets that cameras were rolling when she almost got into the SAME VEHICLE as JD and couldn’t stop laughing her ass off because she found it so funny

After sitting through all this videos and listening to the analysis from you and everyone else, it’s so obvious that this is pure evil we are observing. I guess everyone is entitled to representation, but she is obviously lying over and over again and her attorney is pathetic in his ridiculous objections.

I mean your comment is just so spot on! i dont really need to mention much but that im autistic and when i can read body language the intent is super extreme / A narcissist 1 can be telling the truth but the motive is still evill they obviously will straight lie to your face and thirdly if they do tell the truth it really is cuz that nature and the universe can only take so much and its really involuntary or on accident ( TMZ)
I speak from 45 1/2 years of study and experience just to finally get to where i can be a little more than surviving (YT ) has really helped me to know im not the only at least half sane person on the planet 🫶🏼

The way her lawyer touches her and protects her, makes me think there’s a different kind of relationship going on there. I would be definitely opposed to my lawyer covering my mic with his hands.
She lied during her depositions and took it further during the trial. Reason why she lost.
17:30 For someone who has such “bad luck” with their phones getting damaged beyond repair, why would you walk around with your phone completely bare, no case? Meanwhile, your husband has enough money that he could buy a brand new phone every day if he wanted to, but he has extreme protection around his phone.

Her phone was “smashed “ she doesn’t have any back up for the past few months .. yet she has every single recording and set up texts for this court case from that time .. she didn’t want it out during this .. lucky it was able to be accessed

There is NO WAY the blackmail queen isn't immediately uploading ALL data to a device. She most likely got a new, undisclosed, back up device. Everything is backed up, whether or not we choose to or know about it. If she was truly on a "family plan" that JD paid for, he would have had 100% access to ALL metadata, which they did not. They fought tooth & nail to get access to her metadata, it was court ordered, & she still NEVER turned it over.

Thank you! I’ve been saying that all along. There’s no way JD’s attorneys would not have access to her phone records if she was actually on his plan. He owns the phone, the records, everything.
I mean if she's willing to blackmail her own sister you think if she didn't have one single photograph of getting "hit in the face multiple times with chunky rings on" (her words) she wouldn't be using it???? She took plenty of pictures of everything else.
Problem is she tells so many lies, you just don't know if she knows what the truth is.
And because of that we can't go off of her words, she's not credible. So what's left? Evidence. And the evidence is not adding up either.

So you understand what the lawyer was doing was covering up her mic but you have no problem saying you would feel SEXUALLY harassed? How do you make that leap? You could say you feel violated , don't like to be touched, he invaded your space but SEXUALLY harassed? His mother was near death so he was spending time with his mother and not her and had a very important financial meeting that night but she was hurt he missed her party! Once again, it was all about her! She was supposedly packing the night before and had to go back into the bedroom to get her toothbrush so he then trapped her in the bedroom! Lies, lies, so many lies she can't keep the details straight!

That is why she lost she can’t get her story straight she never thought Johnny will fight back and I am so happy he did so now everyone know what a liar she is .

Trust me, no actual survivor would say that. That's pure research. IMO that's why she had someone else call it in... because research probably showed that it's usually a neighbor or someone who calls the cops.
That's completely true in a sense that its the very truth what a research will show. Of course I cannot claim if she did so much research but even if she did it extensively, I don't think she comprehends what you just said. I'm not going to bother you with a long reply because there are many things that first triggered me, then pissed me off, but the biggest one was her photo of the bruises. I have just one, from 10 years ago, when after years of relationship, never violent but emotionally abusive, the person I was with, got drunk, we had a fight, he hit me 2-3 times in the face and I got the photo after I left the ambulance. My eyes were dark purple, swollen eye sockets, and by the morning it was already so discolored I couldn't even open my mouth enough to eat solid food. My back was hurting and I remembered then that at one point I was on the ground and he was kicking me in the back. I was 27 at the time. I disconnect everything with him the next day. The night of the hitting before when police came, because it was outside of the bar after it was closed, when there was no one, we stayed and had a fight when he started punching me in the face. So when someone heard or saw, I don't know exactly who to this day ( whether it was the guy working in the grocery from across the street or the guys that were passing by and saw my face, which already was getting purple) someone called ambulance and the police. My immediate reaction was to tell them that somebody attacked us, because nobody actually saw the fight, and he had a blood on his forehead because I tried to push him and he hit the iron fence. When the guys who were passing by confronted him, just because they heard him still yelling and then saw my face, one of them tried to push me away from him, the others were trying to move him away and I was yelling leave him alone, he is hurt too, he didn't do this, somebody did this to us, until the guy that was holding me back said, look at your face, its all purple, did he do this to you, and I still wouldn't say. So they for sure called the police, but as I said, I think one call came from across the street from the grocery. When the ambulance and police came, I told them the same, somebody came to us and hit us and I thought I was going home, while the police officer said you need to get in to the ambulance vehicle and get check out because your face is messed up. This was ''just'' from 2,3,4, punches in the face maybe and yet I didn't realized it was so visible to everybody. It was visible for the next 2 weeks. So yeah, I was probably in shock and didn't even cross my mind to call police or an ambulance the very night, if they didn't, I guess I wouldn't have either the next day. Also, to your second point, In retrospect, I guess I was trying to protect him, I even lied at home and said the same story that somebody who we don't know attacked us. Everybody found out weeks, my family years later that it was him. But all of this happened organically, and even now, 10 years later, if I was at the depo, I still remember the thoughts, the sequence, some of it not quite detailed, but for sure what happened first, then the second, the why's, the how's and so on. My photo is still around just as a reminder, but it clearly shows my dark eyes and swollen sockets. BUT, you are totally on point that the ''protecting him'' thing didn't happen in a manner she is presenting. She is at a depo now, filing restraining order, at that time, I would've said that I did try to protect him that night, because I wanted the night to end. If I had a court case, I wouldn't have said so nonchalant: I did everything to protect him, I would have explained further why I said what I said. And the second point of the research, about someone else calling the police, in her case its to much scripted. That's why hearing her, watching her during the trial, this depos, it makes me sick that she can do this with such a confidence. That's why so many DV victims stood up with Johnny and that's why nobody believes her anymore who went through something even similar. And I DO believe that Johnny never hit her. He probably pushed her, moved her or whatever but HITTING her in the way she describes, I just...I cannot believe that's true. Not because he is a famous actor, but because of the things she said and did and behaved. I apologize for what turned out to be a long reply, I was meaning to type short, but once I started typing I just wanted to explain as the memories are coming back. You don't have to read it, but now its my outlet, I already wrote it, so again, I apologize for the long reply, don't feel obligated to read the whole thing.

And yes the fact she actually said the words "I did what other DV victims do..." just showed that she is trying to convince them she is a victim. It's like she has a manual and is clearly pointing out 'see - I did this and this and this just like DV victims do." Referencing what other victims do is simply pushing a narrative. A lion doesn't have to go around telling people it's a lion. They just know because it's evident. Her attorney also has his hands all over her (which is just weird anyways) a few months after a 6 year relationship where she claims she was beaten, r*ped, and in fear of her life.... yet she doesn't flinch and seems completely at ease with this man who is constantly touching her. I think she knows that she was the instigator and aggressor, so she has to articulate how "victimish" she is (because it can't be seen in her actions, her demeanor, or the evidence). Words are all she has.

One thing that I do not recall anyone digging in about is if she synced her phone and her iPad so her text messages would have been located there. She even mentioned today that she was using her iPad to text Johnny because she didn’t have her phone.
She said she did but at some point, months before, her ipad ran out of storage so it didn't do back ups
If phone was on Depp's plan, he could retrieve texts...no?

I have followed this case for years, this is exhausting. I would have lost it during this depo, props to this attorney, her patience is commendable. Watching this and then seeing her during the trial, just blows my mind. She’s a piece of work!

I know this is not very adult to say but she is behaving in such a mean girl/snotty manner in this section. I just kept flashing back to the bully girls in middle school as she was speaking.
It's a complicated story. Lacks logical sequence. You would imagine that because it was such a recent traumatic experience she would have a better memory of events. My guess is that because it was the night of her birthday party she was probably drunk and was angry that he was late. Hard to believe she was reading quietly in bed.
The housekeeper found the poop in the bed the next day but never mentioned the broken glass, spilled wine, broken lamp, broken picture frame.
I have so many questions. She is so vague and evasive.

They looked like they were making out while her face was off-camera. They were that close and intimate while whispering to each other. It was creepy and I wish they had shown that in the trial after she claimed to have all these touching rules. Also, this lawyer sounds like he thinks the more awful he is the more likely it is Amber will sleep with him.

Her innocent “I’m sorry, I don’t understand the question”. She’s good.
She has focused 1000x MORE on him missing her bday party, empty chair, he was late and it was MY 30th bday, waking up on MY bday alone, me, me, me, me than she has absolutely anything else. The only real emotion of sadness and rage I've seen yet have been in relation to the audacity of her being "stood up." I also see a lot of projection with her. Things we know she has done she tells the story in reverse of him doing those things. I've heard her in recordings mocking his "toughness" and taunting him continuously, yet her version is always that he is taunting her. He was always the one in recordings trying to calm her down and "take a break" when she was getting enraged and sounding crazy....but her version is always that she was the one saying they need to take a break and calm down.
I genuinely think she has so many issues revolving around her ego. I've known someone like her and the problem was once she let her true colors show, she couldn't stand that her image of perfection and being on a pedestal was tarnished. So in fighting to prove she should still be on a pedestal and is "perfect" more things are shown to further tarnish the image she worked so hard to portray in the beginning. It is just a rapid downhill decline.
Yeah total fear of abandonment/rejection above all else. She kept fighting him to make him keep engaging with her. I can’t believe he took this for so long and how calm he MOSTLY was during the audios

She’s lying he called her May 21 and told her his mother died and he told her he was divorcing her. That’s when she did the whole bruising, locks changed and finally TRO. Her lawyer told her she had to get a TRO in order to change the locks.
My ex is a narcissist. I lived through this for years. I didn’t tell my best friend (we live in different states) until after I left. I was so ashamed and blamed myself for being in that position.
I never told my friends or family. Even had a very hard time telling my therapist. There was a great deal of shame involved with my experience.
Yes, me too. My friends and daughters told me that I was in an abusive relationship. I couldn’t see it. I finally woke up, now I’m helping others.
This part is what got me, “I attempted as best as I could to hide this and keep our lives as private as possible… I did what I guess, a lot of women do, tried to protect him.”
The “I did what I guess, a lot of women do.” Just seemed so icky to me for some reason, it comes off as so unauthentic, and just so weirdly worded. And just put a bad taste in my mouth because at that point she’s bringing in actual survivors of DV into it to try to make herself sound credible.
Why is she not being charged with perjury?
She takes martial arts. I know for a fact being trained by a 9th degree black belt martial artist at 90-95lbs that regardless to size, weight, height, gender I could overpower anyone during my training. So I am tired of her lil ole me bullshit. Female martial artist know exactly what I am saying. My dad was very strict with 4 daughters who he couldn’t be around 24/7, so it was the utmost importance that we learn how to defend ourselves. Don’t fall for her bullshit.
AH states she wanted to start from scratch when she got a new phone instead of using an old backup she did a couple months before. You have got to be kidding me. Which means she was willing to lose every phone number in contacts, I smell BS. Another thing if JD could find his phone with find my phone, her iPad could of pinged her iPhone location. So why didn't she use find my ph like JD? I HIGHLY doubt her computer hard drive was full. Lies excuses BS is in AH DNA.

I have a feeling that Amber’s attorney didn’t prep her before this deposition due to her not wanting to participate even though it was a court ordered deposition. Didn’t she apparently not turn up the supposed first day but was heard arguing with a member of her attorney before this deposition about not wanting to participate? I think she refused to be prepped and this is a reason why her attorney is so quick to frivolous objections and constantly advising her throughout the deposition. If this is true she dug herself a very deep hole that her attorney is trying to get her out of. Hmmm very interesting and not very smart of Amber. The whole thing reeks of disorganisation on the part of Amber and her attorney
I agree. I believe she had tried to drop the case right before this cuz she didn’t want to sit for the depo but JDs side refused to sign off until she sat for the depo. So that’s why she freaked out because she didn’t want to go do the depo at all and wanted it dropped and freaked out cuz she’s still had to come testify. But then they pulled all these maneuvers to delay since this would be the end of it

There was no retrieving her phone cause he wasn't told it was thrown out. The man said when he reported for work he was told the boss's phone was thrown out through the balcony and needed to be retrieved. He said Amber was backing up her phone. Meaning she had her phone and was busy with it.
She "stayed financially independent" so get your own plan 🤷♀️
Something that bothered me is how she keeps saying she didn’t have her phone, yet she also claimed to use her phone to find Johnny’s through find my iPhone
We're all wondering 😂 and if she was on his phone plan why doesn't he have copies of her texts through his provider? They keep those records for up to five years which is longer then their marriage was.

IMHO They both seem physically comfortable, even familiar with each other. Unusual behaviour for a DV survivor, and in turn, all the more insensitive and unprofessional of a Lawyer whose client supposedly suffers PTSD. Perhaps they had (- she inferred, he hoped) a “connection”. That might better explain his somewhat aggressive, over emotive reactions.

Something has always been curious to me. AH always claims that JD has always referred to her as 'tough guy' when she has repeated what JD supposedly said to her. According to AH he refers to her in masculine terms. This seems odd to me. My suspicion is that she has flipped the script and that she has repeated her words to him.

As it relates to her phone, I swear her makeup artist that testified by video deposition said she took her phone from her during the Coachella weekend so she wouldn’t cave in and get back with Johnny. AH says the phone was destroyed the night before they left. Also, how could she use friend finder to find Johnny’s phone if hers was destroyed? She’s so full of crap. She also says she’s texting from an iPad so I imagine the texts were stored in iCloud like most peoples are. There is no way a Hollywood actress is going without a cell phone. It is difficult to get a new phone from att unless you have info but it’s not impossible.
Remember she said she was going through a phase where she was smashing phones? How were those replaced?
