I love that setup so much i watched the video twice. I plan to get a unlimited for my birthday and now i plan to set up a rod rack just like that this is the best catfishing kayak setup I’ve seen.
Hi! Great walk through! I like the way you set up the pull cord to the release pedal and under the pod … can you tell me where you got that “u bolt” that the cord passes through? Or the name of it? I went to 3 different hardware stores and nobody had any idea what it was and didn’t carry anything like it. Thanks!!
Nice video! I'm about to buy one of these and I am wondering if you are still happy with the Honda as your main propulsion? I can't decide if I want to go electric or gas. I will have an Xi3 up front as well. Granted, electric is more expensive but it certainly is less noisy.
Depends on the trip. If I’m going to run a lot or need to move spots fast, the Honda goes on. If I’m not in a rush or not going too far I just use the xi3
How’s the steering on the Honda using that u-joint tiller extension? Is it mostly push and pull or do you need a fair bit of space to operate it. Looks like you use it going between those rod holders?
Great video. I'm debating hard between the Bonafide SS127 and the Unlimited. I like the open platform and the opportunities are endless with the Unlimited.
I've compared the two. I had the RS117 last year as my first kayak, great kayak and stable. I'm a track junky which is one reason I'm leaning more towards the Unlimited, plus the width and open deck for stand and fish/maneuvering
Well I sold the PA14 after buying the unlimited if that tells you anything. I have another pedal kayak so if It’s going to be your only kayak, that might change things. They are 2 very different kayaks
Your setup is awesome man. I want one lol. Hey I heard you say you anchor in fast current. Do you have a video on that. I got a frontier 12 and I’m always worried about anchoring in current. Heard to many stories saying it sucks the kayak under.
Very nice build my only concern would be the gas powered motor coming Loose in long distance transportation. Over all Great Build just want to see it in action. Wondering how fast she goes also @wot on the honda motor. Just sub. Also fellow kayaker here. Thanks for sharing.
They’re on the nucanoe website, or at least they were. I’ve actually updated my setup in the front to make it cleaner and just as strong without the boonedox plates
@Goober Time TV the part where you said that you had updated your setup in the front to make it cleaner and just as strong without the boonedox plates. I was getting ready to order 2 sets of the boonedox landing gear, until I seen your set up with the plates. I'm a bigger guy, and need more empty deck space if possible. Love your content dude! Thanks

@@ryanharrod1155 It sure is
The navigation lights on gear pod is an absolute stellar idea.
I agree. Stole that one from my buddy Clint @circlehookproductions
That thing is ridiculous in the best ways possible! Very impressive and pushing the boundaries of kayak fishing!
It’s a long way from the raft we built as kids, huh?
Definitely the best catfish setup I've seen yet. AMAZING idea on the rod holders stability
Appreciate it my friend. I’ve had a 64lb blue already try to rip them off. He wasn’t successful
I love that setup so much i watched the video twice.

Thank you my friend. I’ve actually improved the setup a bit since this video. It’s good stuff
Jeez, this thing is amazing and really opens up what's possible.
Thank you sir. Had a vision for it and went all in on her even though I had a perfectly capable hobie pa14. She’s treating me well
Nice ride! Thanks.
Thanks for watching! The kayak is still treating me well
You've got everything on there that you need. That's awesome.
Thank you for checkign it out. Took a while to get it rigged just right but she's working great for me know
That's bad ass bro. Nice Video. The xi3 is a game changer and I just upgraded to those Marinco plugs myself.
Thanks for checking it out
Awesome vid. Did the build videos for this kayak live anywhere? Was definitely interested to see how you did the front hatch with the electronics.
Thanks! I recorded them but didn't release them They don't tend to do well on UA-cam
Impressive!
Thanks!

When I’m running the honda the rods and my seat go up front and I hand full control of the motor. Perfect setup
This is my dream kayak...its amazing

That’s a great mini bass boat “ not a kayak ‘ I
prefer my Hobie pro angler 14 360 ‘ a real kayak ! 😝 tight lines !
Thanks for checkign out my kayak. Glad you found somethign that works for your needs.
Which kayak do you prefer? The PA 14 or this unlimited. I am looking at both and can’t decide. So which do you prefer.

Thank you! I enjoy it. The James has relatively fast current but I do not recommend trying to anchor a kayak in fast current.

Where did you get the boondox landing plates from ? I could not find them online. Nice setup. Im setting mine up for salt water. Thanks

Which one is more stable? The Nucanoe unlimited or your PA 14?
They’re both great but I’m on a nucanoe by choice;)
That's sick.
Thank you! I’m enjoying it. Already have a 64lb fish in it
Where did you get the rod rack, been looking everywhere
I used the base from my boonedox groovy landing gear to mount my rear rod holders
Very cool setup , some how you fit more equipment than I have on my boat 🤔
Now I just need the power poles😂
@@GooberTimeGuideService that would be awesome
Did you cut your shaft or just the stock kayak xi3?
That is the xi3 kayak version
How did you deal with interference when the trolling motor is running, have xi3 and garmin and when running the motor I get interference.
I run them on separate batteries
Let's see you catching some fish in it brother!
No worries. We’ll put some monsters in it real soon. Already have a 64lb in it this spring
I love my Unlimited
Yessir, great platform. Thanks for checking it out
👍

👍🏻For The Yak 👍🏻👍🏻 For The Truck #GMORNOTHING
Heck yea buddy! The truck is new to me. Loving it
Yooooo. I got the unlimited. I got a 4hp 2 stroke. It scoots....10mph!!!
I bet that thing flies!
Why go marinco in front but Anderson in back? Do you have a video on this?
Better flush mount up front. Not worried about it in the back
how fast is that 2.5 getting you?
6-7mph
Is your honda a long shaft or a short shaft?
Short
What size shaft motor is that Honda?
2.3 hp air cooled
@@GooberTimeGuideService ah yeah, do you know the shaft length?
@@McCarlSpeed shortest possible. It’ll be well below the bottom of the kayak no matter what
