Ahh short answer is nothing special. If you have ceramic coating usually needs reapplying every 6 months to 2 years depending on your weather condition. The ppf is really easy to clean. Typical 2 bucket wash routine or just spray with soap then water with a wand. Only addition is you will need a soft bristle brush to get the dirt off the seams in areas such as the mirrors. Depends how picky you are but getting a clay bar helps too with getting rid of the small red specs (brake dust) around your trunk area. Hope this helps!
Was told by kim bros (the guys that did mine) should last the life of the car if cleaned properly. There is also 10 year warranty if the Xpel wrap is damaged by natural causes, they will rewrap for free. Let me know if you have more questions.

I did not unfortunately. Tesla does give you 24 hours to report all minor imperfections as you suspected. I'd recommend going the same day tho for sure. Good comment!

My M3 I got the front clip done and windows tinted that was about 1800. I went with gloss I do like the shine. Two things I'm looking to correct now it's been close to a year later is the dirt that gets on the PPF around the PPF lines (when two parts come together and when it ends at the side). Next is PPF repair I have two or three spots where PPF did its job and protect against small rock hits but now the PPF has a very small hole and again dirt is under the PPF in that spot and noticeable. Anyone know any good links to PPF cleaning and small PPF repair?
Thanks the comment man. Curious which area you live in and what's the weather like there? Let me connect with my ppf guys and get back to you on best practices. Stay tuned...
Hi there! I am also curious where you live! Also, do you know what material they used? As for the rock chips, they will most likely say that “it protected the paint so it did its job” but if it bothers you a lot, ask them if they could replace it and you pay half or something like a discount. As for cleaning, (this is for tesla ho as well) if you’re trying to get rid of the bugs at the front in the summer time. I like to let my customers know to let the bugs soak first. Which means when you go to car wash, pre-rinse the front first staying 2 ft away from the edges, and then go all the way around the vehicle then come back to the front and soak it again. Then with the soap, same thing do the front then go around the vehicle then front again. Then rinse SAME THING. At this point all the bugs should have come off if not soap it again just the front. As for the “dirt” lines, you can purchase soft detail brushes on amazon and then when you’re soaping the vehicle you can take that brush and run it along the edges where the dirt accumulated. The perfect way to take care of your PPF is to wash and wax frequently ESP with bugs. Hope this answered your questions! If not let me know! I would love to talk more about this. (Kind of a PPF nerd) 😁

All cars need paint correction prior to applying PPF, even handmade supercars. Your PPF shop did a really good job! It’s difficult finding a reputable shop. They had a good eye for detail. @@TeslaHo Battery as good as new. Tips for new owner: 1) when charging a new EV, vary battery capacity (75%, 89% etc) for first 10 charging cycles. This exercises the new battery 2) never charge above 90% unless traveling. The last 10% takes forever. When traveling let AutoPilot determine when and where to charge along it’s recommended route 3) if unplugged overnight expect the battery to loose 4-5 miles of range (important if you park long term at airport. Find a parking lot that provides trickle charging) 4) like ICE cars, mileage is reduced during cold weather driving. Use of heated seats requires less energy that heater fan 5) in cold weather, before driving, open app and precondition interior. Not only is it more comfortable, but it warms up battery. A warm battery gets better range 6) change range indicator to % instead of miles otherwise a newbee might experience range anxiety 7) chill mode does not increase range, it just makes you to drive like a granny 😉 8) listed EPA range is as useful as the EPA gas mileage on a BMW. It varies by driving style. The Tesla range remaining changes over time to reflect your driving style. So if you see the range dropping, revisit testing 0-60 at every 🛑
