Absolutely!
The only thing I would add is that, at the end, you said "the choice is theirs". That's not 100% true. Fans can CHOOSE to turn off. Fans don't have to fill grandstands.
I have been saying this for years. American philosophy is money first and sod the fans who have to pay through the nose to watch almost manufactured racing . .
Liberty Media has bought Moto GP and WSBK. 😢 Rip to their souls…
I actually think this is good for the economy of the sport more viewers in my opinion cause Motorcycle racing in my opinion is very niche you either own a bike so you watch or plan to get one and watch there’s no in between I feel
Failed analysis.
F1 soul??? Lol.. Do you really think because it's Liberty at the helm that F1 suddenly started to prioritise money over sportmanship?
It was exactly the same under Ecclestone's long reign, the only difference was that he was doing it a bit more covertly and was centered mostly around the old "traditional" F1 market (legacy F1 circuits and/or countries) and now Liberty is moving a lot more towards new markets with the Middle East and Asia, apart that it's still the same
Agreed and sine Ecclestone F1 as a sport of fun has died! Look at all the drivers that did make to F1 but were then immediately cut because they didn’t have money they proved they have the talent just weren’t given the time to blossom F1 is a sport that for most takes a lot of skill there have only been a few generations talents in my opinion. Micheal, Hamilton, Max, Senna, Lauda, Prost, Fangio, Ascari, and a few more. And only 3 of those name raced in the heart of the money era of F1 Micheal, Hamilton, Max
So Im guessing you started watching in 2021?
What do you mean exactly cause I ask the same question as a guy who’s watched since 2010

No offence, but maybe look into what your talking about a little more? Williams chose to bring in performance parts instead of a spare chassis, not because they were running on a short budget. Alpine have done the same this year but have just kept their noses clean. You also speak about dominance not being entertaining, but dominance has existed in F1 since the 1900’s. Plus wasn’t your argument that F1 shouldn’t become a show rather than real racing? Maybe it’s just me but you contradict your own arguments.
