I'm very proud to say that I created the first Kittie fan site, back in 1999, well before "Spit". That's my only claim to fame. I stopped updating the site in 2001, mainly because of life and I didn't really like Oracle, at the time. I also provided guitar tabs for most of their Spit album... Even on Ultimate Guitar, THEY STOLE MY SHIT... Still gave me credit, but yeah, I was a really early fan of Kittie.
Brackish was my first song and it got me hooked mostly because of the DJ they added into the track for the industrial sound. Their cover of run like hell is what made me stick around.
That was a very good video! I’m building up knowledge on Kittie. I have rapidly developed a huge love and respect for them after watching interviews and the documentary.
I remember meeting Fallon and Telena at a meet and greet tent at Ozzfest back in the day.I had the biggest crush on Telena.Glad they are all still doing good in life and always wish them all the best.Ive seen them a bunch of times and eventually got to meet Mercedes at the bar at a House of Blues in Anaheim and she actually bought me a drink.Still need to meet Morgan though.🤘🏻😎🤘🏻
awesome video man, i absolutely love spit and kittie and this was a great vid, i also never knew the drummer of Coal Chamber doesn't like Kittie, that's another band i like quite alot but yeah, this was a great video, i can listen to spit so many times and never get sick of it, you've just earned a sub btw
I had no idea they were that young.. Just remembered them few days ago and started relistening them again. They were great.. I can't believe someone actually punched Morgan on stage..
I remember seeing them in concert in a small venue during the oracle album times. I remember being underwhelmed because honestly they were absolutely terrible live. They got boo’s a lot and played 4 songs and left the stage. El Niño stole the show and was amazing. No one ever talks about them
I got their album when it first came out and it was one of the hardest metal albums that I’ve ever heard at that time, and I still jam spit on Guitar and brackish.
Nice little mini Doc. Kudos to the creators. This band is way after my time, but I remember when I first heard them. I was like.. Damn!! These chicks sound heavy as @#$&!!! I never knew what they’d gone through in the industry. Com’ on!! Dudes punching chicks in the face? And while performing?
@@NocturneMusic they're great, Aussie nu metal band that got picked up by Sony, they had an ep and 2 album run, recently their 3rd self released record from 2005, they were one of those bands that started off as very much part of the nu metal scene but as they got to their 2nd and 3rd records, they started incorporating more metalcore, hardcore and even death metal elements into their stuff.
Kittie is the best chick band ever and heavier than slot of crap bands Fallon Bowman and Morgan have always been my girls and would so love to chill with them
Well i wouldn’t say they went HARDER then their contemporaries… around this time Coal Chamber, Mudvayne, Bile, Slipknot, Mushroomhead, Korn, System of a Down, and many more were heavier… but they did have a groove and were the Kittens to Pantera
Slipknot was one the heaviest band you were aware of coming up around that time? You must have been pretty sheltered or limited in your listening range...
Don’t know much about the band, but I hope it’s not entirely misandrist like so many radical feminist since social media came along. The guitar thing shoved up the dudes ass was a bit brutal but was justified. I just don’t like the generalisation so many people do nowadays. Then again they were pre 2010s so probably not completely batshit insane like modern “feminist” on tictok. I do like some of what I’ve heard from them even though I just recently discovered their existence since I wasn’t even born yet when they came out
they never brought up feminism. They just did their own thing. Like this said, it wasnt until they were older and people kept applying feminism to them that they were like "yeah I guess so". They used to hate being called "female" or "girl" band which sounds sort of feminist, but their attitude was like "who gives a shit? its music. yes 95% of metal is dudes, but who cares?"
@@paulsmith8510 They did mention that Morgan had a very liberal mindset/perspective (which are seen as feminist) in their 2000 documentary Spit In Your Eye. They did had a pretty feminist view on things since they were very young especially from all the harassment and even pedophilic things (when guys wanted to sexualize them) they went through once they were big.
@@honeyandlavender_ western liberal ideology is a disease. They’re so condescending and rude. It’s a very depressing situation when one is around people with such hateful mindsets, but early 2000s liberals aren’t the same as today’s
Started listening to Kittie at 16 and still love them at 31. They were just so many layers of good despite everything!
I absolutely love them. They snuck me into sound checks when I was 15-17. They did their own thing. Their fans will always be loyal!
I’m a 14 year old girl and randomly found there music and OMG they are amazing!! I’m so glad i randomly came across them :)
ROCK ON!! That's awesome 🤘 I hope they inspire new bands to take after them
Omg sameeee
“Paper doll” stands out for me
Something about it makes my heart smile
IKR it’s so unique and well structured
They have come a long way. I love their old stuff, I love their new stuff. I am excited they are playing again. Can't wait for more.

They did an incredible cover of Run Like Hell
..all the songs are pure and she writes about her life..
I was such a huge fan of this band in the early 2000’s. I seen Kittie live in 2002 and I’ll never forget it. Pretty cool little documentary!!

Brackish was the first song I heard and as soon as the beat drop I was seriously blown away lol wasn’t expecting a sound like that at all

Interesting documentation and kittie is cool

I would be very insecure if I have that hair cut 😂

You should do one of these for Sunk Loto, they made it big back when most of their members were between the ages of 13-17.
imma check em out 👍

What do you think of their latest song Eyes Wide Open?
it's a solid track. idk how morgan did it but her voice is the best i think iver ever heard it
Fallon was and is still the hottest chick to ever hold a guitar!
1:00 dude look at Fallon…just look at her! And it was Courtney loves hired goons
i love kittie
Oracle was heavy as fuck....
The bass player goes hard in the video "what I Always Wanted"
They got like 5 songs I care about.

I liked Fallon. When she left, I lost interest.
Bro. I kept interest but I feel you! I remember when "What I Always Wanted" video dropped with no Fallon... heart break.

Saw them a few times and didn’t think they were and there music was that great. Seemed like a bunch of music exec pet project.

Kinda hard for 12 year olds in the late 90s to find anything that wasn't on Kerrang or whatever..
Actually loved every song EXCEPT Brackish lol. Had to stop watching cus how can u not like the other songs...?
Hey feminism aye
