God, I remember when I had my first lucid dream. I had actually gotten fucking *stuck* in my own DREAM, which was a nightmare in itself. It took me to find some actual fucked up shit before I had gotten on a bike and had flung myself gmod style in the air, which eventually woke me up. Instead of waking up, my brain started visualizing what I was hearing from the TV, in a semi-conscious state, and it just happened to be OneyPlays, talking about ghosts, and a lawnmower. I don't remember what the story was specifically, but I do remember that it had something to do with ghosts, and a lawn mower. I was so relieved to have actually woken up to oney on my TV, groggy as hell though. Edit: For clarification, it was like a story-time animation, and not something like sleep paralysis, I was watching an animated version of the video. Also, the thing that tripped me off and made me start lucid dreaming was the fact that I was driving in a car with my mom, and she starting driving over fences, straight up bending them, and landed into a pile of cats (without killing or injuring them, somehow), where i started repeatedly trying to pinch myself, punch myself, trying to do ANYTHING to get out of the dream because I had no idea what to actually do in a lucid dream as this was my first time. And if anyone's curious as to what it was I saw, I walked into a backyard and saw a bunch of just animated corpses covered in black mold with their intestines hanging out of their body doing what seemed to be slave labor, and I believed there was one in the middle that called themselves a "Warden", and they looked slightly less "poly" for lack of a better word, like straight out of a game.
This reminded me how years ago i had these nightmares where i would "wake up" in my bed but my vision was very blurry and my eyes hurt and i couldnt do anything, then it would suddendly go away
Sounds like sleep paralysis. It happens to me all the time. The weird thing about it is that even when I expect to fall into those semi conscious dream states my heart always races for some reason
Fuck it sucks to be you. It probably has to do something with anxiety if you have one. In some other cases I have no clue whats going on in your head whilst you are asleep

well this guy is clearly biased i'm not saying there's no post like that subreddit but by far this is not the whole thing but I assume a morbid lie does generate more visits than what there truly is which is boring and disappointing.
I started having sleep paralysis about a year ago on a near daily basis. A couple weeks ago it led to me having an episode of lucid dreaming. If you’re not aware of how that works, while you’re having sleep paralysis if you manage to fall back asleep sometimes you can still be “awake” and thus have a lucid dream. I didn’t do anything crazy like these people, it was actually really disturbing. The only thing I did was try and reach and grab the first person in front of me on the shoulder and was immediately yelled at by everyone else in the dream that I needed to stop and that I was in danger then I woke up.
I can only semi-lucid dream. When falling back asleep from sleep paralysis the best I can usually manage is to dissappear any monsters attacking me and maybe tone the creepy atmosphere down a notch. there's still usually an overarching sort of anxiety and darkness to the resulting dream, even if nothing bad actually ends up happening
I have a lucid dream couple months ago. First it was a sleep paralysis, then i felt asleep. And then talk with sleep paralysis demon about why do i hear a music from reality. Which was played through whole lucid dream(it was really played in reality).
The only lucid dream I've ever had was probably the worst way you could waste one. It happened when I was like 7 or 8, I was basically in some candy realm and randomly realized that I was dreaming but didn't wake up. Being a super confused 7 year old, I started crying because I couldn't figure out how to wake up. My biggest concern though? That mom wouldn't let me play Angry Birds once I woke up. Yeah... There was definitely something wrong with me back then
@@Somebodyherefornow I'm not lucid dreaming for 20 years already, I was married and I'm 35. Tell me what's wrong in wanting to experience realistic sex in dream where you can do it in literally impossible scenarios and circumstances? Is having libido degenerative or wrong?
Honestly I went to that subreddit to talk about awesome bizarre dreams and was just horrified that it wasn't the case Edit: since the thread is about lucid dreams, here's one of my many lucid and semi lucid ones I was in a hotel that is next to the zoo. A giant black snake was in the skatepark. Some dumb chick with a selfie stick went on top of the sleeping snake and tried to take selfie. I told her no but sis got swallowed. Panic ensued. Giant animals were invading everywhere and the world flooded. there were giant crocodiles in the flood. I flew around and hopped from cliff to cliff. Then I saw a dank cave in the side of one cliff. I got an idea. There was an old bike beside the cave so I rode it down the cliff and onto a big wooden slide that catapulted me to the zoo. I went back to the snake and rubbed hand sanitizer on it's eyes. It threw up the girl. I then told it about the sweet dank cave that it can live in. So it turned into a handsome man and rode away on my bike
In my lucid dream I went into a room that was just one big diorama. I also had skin that reflected the galaxy, and I could transform into a leopard. It was long ago so that’s all I remember lol
If you want a normal one,Heres My first lucid dream that i Never realize was me,in a shopping cart(i Was a kid bak then i Believe and I Loved being on shopping carts when shopping)In a extremely long tunnel, with an exit with a bridge connecting the 2 Cliffs, and The bridge was ridiculously long,to the point where i Lost my perception of time, depth,on the middle of the bridge, everything broke down,i Fell,i Tought i Would land, but there was no landing, and Woke up,truly the worst nightmares ive had,i Assume it was a lucid dream cus of how everything went as i Imagined it to be.
My only lucid dream was as a kid. I dreamt I could fly like a bird and was flying around my village. I had recently found Google earth back then and spent hours looking at sattelite photos. Somehow it incorporated those images into my dream and it felt so incredibly realistic, what an experience.
Closest thing i had to to a a lucid dream was when i was a kid had a dream where i was running a straight path on a collapsing floor, i didn't realise it was a dream but everytime i was falling to the void i just told my brain "no i didn't" and invented any dumb excuse to not fall, like jumping on a secret platform, hitting a flying koopa, or spawning a missile

I've only had a few lucid dreams in my life, but they're some of the most incredible experiences I've had, ever. When I was researching about the topic a few years back, I ran across a lot of posts asking about sex in lucid dreams, and the responses were always the same. Because of the way lucid dreaming works, you need to stabilize your dream every once in a while, as to not have it become nonsense. Since there's so much shit going on during sex, the dream gets unstable as hell, and ends instantly. So, if you want to have sex in a lucid dream, then you'll have a dream that lasts 10 seconds before you wake up. Yeah, not only are these posts repetitive and creepy as hell, it's also really infuriating to see these people waste such a fantastic experience as lucid dreaming on 8 seconds of imaginary tits
@@atomicskies_ They're not limited, perse, but for most people lucid dreaming is very rare. Sure, you can train yourself to lucid dream at will, but that requires a lot of dedication. For some it takes months or even years to master lucid dreaming on command, so, to me, wasting one of those dreams on 10 deconds of fake sex is pretty dumb. I considered the posts creepy because, frankly, I don't want to hear constantly about how much somebody wants to have imaginary sex, and the lengths they'll go to
You can make sex last longer 10 seconds in a dream you just have to focus and not get so exited that you lose control and blank out or wake up you can train yourself to be in the moment and not lose yourself completely during dream sex I've had a sex session and then left from it when I had my fun and got bored and wanted to do something else like go on an adventure and explore the dream world I have even taken the person I was just having sex with, with me as a dream companion to play around with and talk to while I'm exploring and having fun in the dream world. it's not even that hard of a thing to do in dreams just imagine it and pull yourself to that scenario and your there it's fine if you want to do that but i kind a like to just dream. really awareness meditation really is a lucid dreamers best friend if you want stable vivid dreams at least that works for me.

I was "kind off" lucid dreaming about like a month ago. I finally able to realize im dreaming in my dreams which I tried so hard to do since 2017-2019. It felt like in those stories where you tried to escape from dream and back to reality even though someone or something is preventing me from doing it. I dont think this ever happen to me, or maybe I did have a lucid dream before but because my brain have more detailed cringe memories I couldnt remember it
I remember MULTIPLE TIMES realizing that I'm in a dream, be unable to do anything with that and just... Forgetting about it? I guess lucid dreams are a bit more complicated than understanding that you're in a dream
Usually, for me, whenever I lucid dream I've got to reach a certain point before I take control. If you become aware during the dream, the best thing I recommend is trying to get ahold of your senses before anything else.

How the hell do people lucid dream? Like, I get to the part where I know I’m in a dream and I get to walk around n’ stuff, but I can’t control anything because it’s like trying to move an organ with your mind.
One time I was lucid dreaming, I don't remember much but I do remember there were monsters from sesame street with me, and they were all growing cabbages, I decided to join them, I was really bad at it though, so I got sad and woke up.
This isn't a lucid dream but I once had a really bad fever, and I dreamt of this long metal field going indefinitley. I was squirming with pain on the bed, and I finally went to the kitchen to grab a knife to do god knows what, then just realized what I was doing and stopped.
I wonder how detailed the 90 years dream was. Usually when I dream, there is no nothing moment, like something always happening. Like how in cartoon or something, there always people talking. Also, if I think back to dreams I had, it usually doesn't make sense at all. BTW, not a lucid dreamer.

I've only experienced lucid dreaming twice. The first time was very surreal, but hard to stay in control. I would try and throw a fireball because that seemed cool, but it would turn into a bouncy ball :/ Then I ended up getting chased by a monster truck. You'd think I'd have more control over the situation, I still knew it was a dream, but nothing I was doing would work, so I "opened" my eyes and forced myself to wake up. The second time I had a lucid dream, I only remembered the end of the first one. "Oh wow, I'm dreaming! I can force myself to wake up by doing thi-" Then I woke up, ending the dream. on purpose. smh

To the people that get scared away from the subreddit because of this video, don't worry, the posts about sex are a small fraction of all posts. The sub is a great resource for learning to lucid dream, probably the best
Well it's normal to not remember your dreams you can actually train your brain to remember more dreams you have 4-6 dreams every night sometimes more you just don't remember them anyways its possible to improve your dream recall alot of lucid dreamers do it.
I’ve tried lucid dreaming before (not anything degenerate like this video), and have tried multiple times to fly in whatever way possible. It’s extremely difficult for me, and I guess my brain just isn’t wired that way because while I have a very vivid imagination going into sleep, I can never wake up in the dream to become conscious again. The few lucid dreams I have had over the years all ended up being super lame because my mind is too grounded in physical reality, I am not joking! I will try to fly, knowing it’s a dream, and it just straight up doesn’t work... I’m very frustrated with myself
I think the most interresting things about lucid dreaming is that if you take control of a dream during it you suddenly explore a wolrd that is entirely made up, it might make sense might not but it's quite a fascinating experience
Every single dream I have is a lucid dream, I don't know why but I haven't had a non lucid dream in years. Sometimes I legitimately can't distinguish them from real life. I'll wake up, go to work, get halfway through and wake up almost late for work, confused.
Those are called false awakenings, not lucid dreams. False awakenings are when you dream of waking up. If you were lucid, you would have known you were dreaming still and wouldn't have gotten ready for work lol
If you can't distinguish a dream from real life... your consciousness is severely messed up and foggy, you're not even half alive. I know what it's like. Make a habit of looking at your surroundings, observing all the details, "taking it in". The reason you're in such a state is because your entire week or day is almost absolutely routine, you've become a robot, your mind consists of nothing but habits.
@@connerlee6494 I guess I was using the wrong word to describe it, for the longest time I thought a lucid dream was just one that feels extremely real lol thanks. Though I do have a few lucid dreams every couple of weeks.

My dreams are nothing like what a lot of other people describe theirs as. They're like very vague, fuzzy memories from long ago. Nothing really "happens" in them, it's more me finding myself in some situation or previous time of my life and then I wake up.

Bro fr, so funny. I half expected them to say they went to the doctor and found out they had cancer. Haha
That legit sounds like a Nirvana lyric.
Dreaming while listening to OneyPlays is always fucking great
Sounds like sleep paralysis.

I was in a hotel that is next to the zoo.
Yeah, not only are these posts repetitive and creepy as hell, it's also really infuriating to see these people waste such a fantastic experience as lucid dreaming on 8 seconds of imaginary tits
people really take being down bad to another level
Your saying that as if there is a set limit to the amount of times you can lucid dream. Also how is that creepy?
@@atomicskies_ They're not limited, perse, but for most people lucid dreaming is very rare. Sure, you can train yourself to lucid dream at will, but that requires a lot of dedication. For some it takes months or even years to master lucid dreaming on command, so, to me, wasting one of those dreams on 10 deconds of fake sex is pretty dumb. I considered the posts creepy because, frankly, I don't want to hear constantly about how much somebody wants to have imaginary sex, and the lengths they'll go to
Then I shall stick to daydreaming in which I can have sex, without waking up since I am awake.
