A child gets in trouble at school for bullying, and the parents in fear of their own prosecution, could end up abusing the child to keep them in line, etc. just further continuing the cycle of abuse. There’s so many things that could go wrong with a law like that. Use your brain.
A more beneficial law would be creating a better healthcare system so people and children can easily get help from therapists and psychologists for their mental health to prevent incidents like this from happening to begin with. Or schools implementing better anti bullying restrictions. But charging a parents with a criminal offense because a child called another child fat? That’s some dystopian shit.
