    This happened in Galveston where I live and this story didn't end here. She was convicted and sent to prison, as she should be, and her son went to live with his dad's parents. Not long after that, his drug addicted dad stabbed his mom, the little boys grandma, and the main witness in that case... this same precious little boy. Now BOTH of his parents are locked up for murder. I'm guessing that he's now with her mom, as she is his only living grandma. I just hope he gets some therapy and grows up to be a productive member of society. Even after such a f@

GOoD memories are more likely to be recalled v traumatic memories we all want to blot out of our memory banks. Because this little boy was asked so many questions by the police and social workers, it is likely he will have memories about the shooting and the blood he saw from Chris that he will recall what happened for the rest of his life and know his mom shot and killed Chris who was taken out of his life by his mother.

I almost had no visits (at the time they thought babies just needed to be fed and bodily cared for and it was not a big deal as they would forget). I had to stay in the hospital for almost three months. Around my 17th/18th month (I was home again) I remember my fear to let loose the couch. I knew I had to in order to learn to walk. Nobody was there to incourage me and if, they made fun of my fear to show me it was nothing to worry about. There are definitly ppl who can well remember the traumas of their early childhood.

    I was in the same situation once. My then husband was still in love with his es-wife. He denied it, but in my heart I knew. They were each other's first love, and they had an abortion because they were unwed and not financially ready at the time. Throughout our marriage, we were happy but every years, he always pulled away when it was her birthday or their wedding anniversary.
    After 3 years, I decided that it was enough, so I divorced him. I didn't try to hurt him or have him murdered.

    I have so many questions about the 2nd story. How did her mom find out the dad was dead? It said she called Crystal after school to tell her but how would she have known? What was the deal with the other girls parents allowing them to just move into Crystal’s house? One of the dads buys a gun from a minor for $20 after her dad supposedly killed himself & your daughter is living in that house with her? Did this girl really do that good of a job cleaning after blowing part of her dad’s head off & dragging him out to the shed? Seems like their would have been a lot of blood &/or brain matter everywhere. Definitely a perplexing story. Sounds like a bunch of irresponsible adults allowing their kids to run the show. Claudia came home late after working at the restaurant and started an elaborate recipe. This, when she has a four-year old son. These are red flags for emotional disturbance. Especially fighting in front of her son. Claudia's explanation to the detective in the interview was entirely self serving. She lied to her mother about Chris beating her. Claudia would have been a dangerous cop, had she ever been hired. Their pre-screening psychological evaluations would likely have detected her disturbance and she would not have been hired.

It showed what triggered her, showed she still felt anger or like she was wronged by him over that; it showed her narcissism because she was still caring about her trivial feelings over the cooking episode rather than caring more that her boyfriend was dead. It was as if she was whining to a friend about what her bf had done to her that day instead of actually giving the important details of how she shot her bf & killed him. She was crying over herself not over the bf being dead. It is scary that there are so many dangerous people out there that seem normal. One has to be very careful who you choose as a partner, and never ever stay in toxic relationships or engage people who display toxic behaviors. This what gets me. The mom said they were fighting and the boy backed her story. They never asked him if his mommy was being pushed or hit.
    With that said, I hope that little boy is in counseling and I hope and pray that he has a wonderful life.
    Prayers to the family who lost a loved one.

      Yeah, hella sad and messed up story and I definitely don’t side with a mom who would even pull out a gun over an argument AT ALL, let alone with her baby boy right there, but I didn’t see how the interview with a 4 year old was so convincing…we already knew she shot him and he died. Did I miss something? A 4yo couldn’t tell if it was intentional or accidental…premeditated or heat of the moment…reckless or negligent…etc…just not sure how his 4yo testimony was probative…she shot him and she said that…either way, she’s horrible.

    • @susanhitchler1881
      @susanhitchler1881 Рік тому +3

      I’m pretty sure this wasn’t the whole interview. Either way it doesn’t really matter. She shot him. Period. She was flinging a gun around with her child sleeping on the friggin sofa. Wtaf. Fighting violently in front of her child. Ffs. A guy who remembers his baby every year and takes the time to message his ex doesn’t sound like a mean person to me.

      @hallia97.
      After this crime he unfortunately had to witness his mother do that poor baby boy then witnessed a second murder of his grandmother how traumatising for him. Read the first comment the girl wrote on this explaining that she lived in the town they lived in and that poor likle previous baby boy witnessed his own Father kill his mother the baby boys grandmother so for him at some a young age to have witnessed two murders of his mammys boyfriend and his own family member his own grandmother . This little boy is going to need countless amounts of councilling when he is that bit older. As a child he will need trama Therapie the one that specialises in mainly children and some play therapy too that will help him trust again and show him he can feel secure and safe again not all family are bad, evil , people. Play therapy will teach him there is family blood family and others close to him who love him and want to shelter him from those type of bad environments and situations he should not of being in. Well I hope he is healing and copen so much better and a will grow to be a Happy man and no more people round him will hurt him or put him into scary, sad , Traumatic situations that he should not have to deal with. You never involve or talk to children about adult problems arguments or issues it's too much to burden them with and they don't have the full strength physically emotional to deal with adult situations and should not be put into that pressure cooker that only adults can deal with not their little brains and thoughts can't adjust too. Its not fair to them and there maturity level is not there yet to deal with them scenario's..😫😱💔😭😢🤢🙈🙉🙊 👊🏻 🫠🤔😕

    Sadly, my biggest takeaway came with the story of Crystal Howell. It was said that her father left his wife after learning that he was not the biological father of their oldest daughter. That disturbed me in a lot of ways. While I don't know the entire story of their family, I do know what it's like to learn that the child you are raising is not blood related to you. I learned this when my oldest daughter was 13 years old. I suspected it before that but confirmed it when she was 13 and suffering from an illness that depended on family history.
    Guess what, Bubba? She is still your child just as the child I was raising is still my daughter. You still have to man up and be the parent your child depends on. That responsibility doesn't go away just because you don't share the same DNA. There is already enough kids that don't have an active Father in their lives, why add to that?
    I didn't embrace the news either when my wife confirmed my oldest daughter wasn't my biological child. But it didn't change my responsibility. The hardest part was telling our daughter that I wasn't her biological father. She understandably felt betrayed and lied to. It took her awhile to get over it. Now, at 40 years old she is closer to me than anyone else in my life.

    What does someone do to deserve a lifetime of tragedy like the father in the 2nd story. Bullied as a child because of whatever happened to him that made him need therapy, spends his adult life in a terrible relationship, finds out one of his daughters isn't his, then is murdered by his only child.

I bet he hurt after finding out his daughter wasn't his and he'd just been used for money for a filthy ho like that> She has the nerve to get paid by TV shows to badmouth him after what she did. Her free daughter needs to get away from her gaslighting.

    Prayers for Chris's family, her very own son & their family & friends, their loss is immeasurable, I hope they have found solace in the great he did whilst here & that she won't have a negative affect on her Boy's life due to her narcissistic, 'me, me, me' way of thinking. Thankfully 🤞🏻🙏🏻💔 💕💕

I pray there's some kind of court order that she not be allowed to see her son...
