I am currently running a CTS MPI 1300CC kit with HPFP and a A2B LPFP on my stage 3 Golf R. I already am tuned with the Cobb accessport. When i purchase and install the Cobb Flex Fuel kit will I need a custom tune from you guys to set this up? Also once you guys setup the custom flex fuel tune for my application will the car automatically adjust that tune for E20, E30, E85? Thanks
Yes a custom tune with the newly released software is needed to setup flex fuel. If we did your original tune then it will be a top up tune. Once setup however it will self adjust fueling, timing and boost based on the exact ethanol content measured in the fuel.
So E45 459whp on the mustang dyno would be how much on the higher reading dynos? Im currently with intergrated engineering and plan to go to flex tune with a hpfp and looking to go to the gt2260 on flex but they haven't brought out a tune for the mpi kit yet. Goal is 550hp crank. This turbo is capable right?
I would recommend a bigger turbo for this power goal. The STR71 would fit the bill. www.stratifiedauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=199_362&products_id=1163
Never say never. However the ST and RS have map switching so switching between fuels is not too bad. That’s how we setup most of our ethanol customers.
@@stratifiedauto thank you! Would just a hpfp on a gti be able to support e45/e50 with a pmax? Or is mpi necessary? I have seen e30 with pmax on hpfp alone.
E50 is pushing it. Especially on GTI where the injectors are smaller than an R by 10%. If you want to stick to DI alone consider R injectors. www.stratifiedauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=332_240_298&products_id=1126
We are doing them right now via our protune and protune top up for the GTI and R. www.stratifiedauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=332_259_261&products_id=726
Awaiting the 1.8T release ;-)

Looking forward to March 7th. 🙂
Do you think they will ever make this for the Focus ST/RS?
First it was the subi, now this!!!
Never say never. However the ST and RS have map switching so switching between fuels is not too bad. That’s how we setup most of our ethanol customers.
Would the ECU be able to support this capability?
It can.
Alex, i know there aren't any Flex fuel tunes yet but will the sensor work on the golf Sportswagen?
Not at this time.
Is there any more gains to be had on full e85 or is e50 kind of the max for this setup and the pmax stage 1?
You won’t gain more power going full e85

the pro tune that is in the bundle with the garret pmax can be flex fuel?
Yes absolutely we can add flex to it.
Impressive. This is the same car you dyno'ed with E50 10 months ago ?
This is our dev Golf R.
Does the accessport have to stay connected? Currently I load a tune and unplug the accessport.
It does not once the tune is flashed.
Awesome, thank you!
No problem!
Could I run a gallon of e85? Vortex standard hpfp fbo. Audi s3
To use the kit to make more power you need to get a tune for it. We can get you setup. www.stratifiedauto.com
when will bbe ready the flex fuel tunes?

Where’s the mk8 content
More is coming, promise!
All the "mixing" of fuel for power that isn't usable. If anyone can avoid it, don't buy used and get someone else's issue and a greedy price.
Not sure I understand.
@@stratifiedauto that's because it doesn't make sense lol
Bro the installation tutorial was horrible
We have instructions as well on our site. www.stratifiedauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1159
