His opinion changes on a dime, he was talking the same way about the Panthers before game 1 and he’ll be saying the same thing about the Panthers after game 2

Because that 2018 year was the first and only time he ever made it out of the 2nd round. They were known as perennial playoff underperformers.
Ovetchkin is obviously a great player, but he's not even close to McDavid who is probably the best player ever from a skill perspective. This is coming from a Canucks fan who is cheering for the Panthers
