PK does a great job selling the game. He is absolutely right about hockey being the best live sporting event to go to. My first ever live game was a playoff game. Fell in love with the sport that night.
My first game was in Columbus last game against the Avs in 2012. Cbj needed a win and a Minnesota loss to make it. Absolutely wild experience even though Minnesota won lmao
I'm a Bruins fan and I love PK. He would have made the 2010s Bruins a dynasty. Amazing skillset and he sounds fun to be around.
A live regular season game is already awesome. Can’t imagine my first game being a playoff game!

I've dragged my wife, who hates sports, to baseball and football games over the years, but she actually enjoys being at MSG to see the Rangers play.

I hope ESPN's pre-game hockey coverage gets more fun like TNT's. PK is the perfect guy to lead an entertaining pre-game show that isn't just guys sitting at a desk going through the motions of what pre-game shows have been, boring, for the longest time.

I dont see any other espn show putting any emphasis on hockey period. Kudos to pat for bringing hockey to the espn masses other than highlights and game recaps.
I grew up a Montreal fan and I'm 27 years old now. In my teenage years watching Pacioretty, Subban, Price was just amazing , Subban was my favorite player. No matter what everybody said he left everything on the ice and put all of his heart and soul into the game of hockey when he was wearing the Habs jersey. I know there was politics involved in the locker room when he got traded because of Gallagher and other players complaining but it was never the same when he left!

@@S_67Fthey need better marketing. The sport is in a good place, look at the markets that are winning, warm weather states are producing high level hockey which is crucial...they just need to do a better job marketing and growing the sport

pk was one of the best hockey players who turned non hockey fans in the USA into fans. my friends who knew nothing about hockey would want to know more because of the defenceman on the Canadians looks like he has so much fun playing.

PK is probably one of the biggest players in terms of growing the game. This man has always been and will always be authentically himself. PK in Montreal was the best thing to happen to the NHL when it comes to growth. Subban family is spectacular the entire way through.
Been a pk fan since he was a rookie and big fan of the show. It was awesome to see pk on! Fit in well with the fellas and is truly a great ambassador for hockey.
I never comment and have no idea what’s going on in hockey, but this guy is a must for weekly hockey talk.
You can’t appreciate hockey until you see it live and hear the sounds of the game. It’s an eye opening experience.

My first hockey game was an ECHL playoff game, and our local team got a shorthanded game winner in double overtime. Absolutely fell in love with the game.
We miss PK here in Nashville, he was a great ambassador for the game and did some really cool stuff for the community when he was here.
Have PK on more, he’s great at discussing hockey and has tons of charisma

Ive seen Mcdavid play in Erie in the OHL many times. His speed blew me away back then when he was young and he has only gotten faster!!! He is must watch TV
No better sport than Hockey. I truly love it. UA-cam TV is allowing the sport to grow! I was able to watch before but it was as accessible. Now, YTTV has it there!

PK mentions that hockey is the best sport to watch live and he couldn't be more right. I have converted 2 friends into being die hard hockey fans just by bringing them to a game. I think a really big part of it is that you're so close to the action. If you have seats in the front row, next to the glass, you're about to have some of the most talented athletes in the world performing amazing feats inches away from you. You might get lucky and have a goal celebration right in front of you. You're jumping up and down, they're jumping up and down. You're in it! You're celebrating that goal right there with your team. With the goal scorer himself! It's amazing. I know Pat talked about how the refs are a part of the game, a part of the action, in one of the "Hockey is Awesome" segs. So are the fans. You can feel that at a hockey game more than any other sporting event. Hockey is AWESOME!
I saw a game lower section. I couldn't see much. I've seen a dozen games upper deck, and you can see so much more.
