Hi, we just got the samsung 7kgs, and the softener doesnt dispense, i was wondering do we have to use the liquid detergent to be able to use the fabric softener? i tried to use the powder detergent, but the softener doesnt dispense.. any suggestions pls.
I’m mixed up what side is for soap and what side is for fabric softener??? Also, I strongly suggest adding sone water to fabric softener or it will clog!
Hi, nice video! What should I do if I want to use detergent manually? Do I need to turn off dose per wash and dose per rinse? Or only dose per wash? Tnx!
@@askmrwashywashy Smart Things app makes all more simple. In options you can deactivate dose per wash, and then auto detergent is off. Softener can not be added manually, you can deactivate dose per rinse if you want to wash without softener. Thats how Smart Things app do...
@@saifulhairi3516 hi, try in setup, dose per wash is for detergent, and dose per rinse is for softener. The same way is on the machine, just tap the 'hand'
Thanks for this video. We just got the Samsung 16kg front load washer and having trouble with the softener. Clothes are not coming out smelling like any softener was used. I have concentrate set to 1x and rinse dosage to high but didn’t make much difference. I have tried Eco cycle and Quick wash cycles but same issue. We use Comfort Concentrate softener and after washing the level of the softener dispenser is not reducing. Any ideas?
@@askmrwashywashy yes. All is setup as it should be. I am wondering if it is a water pressure issue as the washer gets its water via our laundry basin and the pressure from the laundry basin is much more reduced then water in the bathroom. The reason I started thinking this is the water jets around the door don’t spray water into the drum fully and mostly just dribble it down the door glass.
Our machine started working properly with the fabric softener after about 15 to 20 cycles. We did get a Samsung tech out who replaced our dispenser drawer but that didn’t make much difference. Looks like it just needed to run itself in for a few washes.
I have a problem, it always tells me that the softener is low, even though there is a large amount. Even if I add more, it still tells me that the softener is low. Now, the washer won't use softener. What should I do?
You can check the softener intensity through the settings. If they don’t smell sweet enough after a wash you can add more intensity otherwise. In short wash and see how it is after the wash
Hi, I wash my sons reusable nappies which can't have fabric softner. As i can see from your videos the softner can be turned off. But can i still keep the fabric softner auto topped up for the other washes? or would i just have to do the manual dosing always? Thank you :)
Hi. Seems like you might have to manually do it every time but… try to make your own cycle using the smart things app or save it as my cycle/favourite on the washer.

I'd like to see a full cycle on the default cottons setting with laundry detergent and fabric softener in the designated auto dose dispensers with a full load of clothes.
Hi Jerome. Might be a bit hard to see inside the drum coz it’s black. Would you still want it? You’ll still be able to hear the sounds and see the vibrations if any
Hi depends the market that you buy it in. If you buy in China or some other markets yes. Give Samsung a call they might be able to point you in the right direction. Mine in Australia only had two options US English and AU English
Hi, I have this washing machine for about 2 weeks now. Model WD90T984ASH/S7 You said that Dose Per Wash: amount of detergent dispensed during washing Dose Per Rinse: amount of detergent dispensed during rinsing This corresponds to the online manual in pdf. But does it make sense to dispense detergent during rinsing? I do not think so.. What was my surprise when I opened a paper manual which came with the washer. Dose Per Wash: You can select the amount of detergent to input Dose Per Rinse: You can select the amount of softener to input Could you check your manual?
This is incorrect the “softener” setting within system function is for the softener CONCENTRATION 1x would use the most as it has the lowest concentration level whereas 3x has the strongest fabric conditioner so it will use the least. Dose per wash is for Liquid Detergent and dose per rinse is for Liquid Fabric softener.
Hello, I have a question. Would you tell me if i understood correct. If i want maximum softner in each cycle , i must set dose per rinse to high and softner in additional options to x1 (not x3 - which i understood will add minimum softner ) ? Is there option which takes all the softner in the box ?

Powder does not work! Liquid only and add some water to fabric softener because it will clog if u don’t water it down with some water
Just bought this, and i am getting hardly any bubbles in bubble soak? Does your bubble soak work as it should?

Yes, correct

Can you manually add softener if the auto-dos system is not putting enough (imo)? If yes, when and how? (Samsung aswell)
You can do it by putting it in the manual soap drawer. Do this just before the rinse part of the cycle
Hello...
