When she asked "can you handle scary" I would have immediately followed up with the question "Do you mean existential scary like trapped in an infinite darkness? Scary like spooky monsters and the power going out? Having to protect myself from actual danger like murderers and bloodthirsty stuff? Or like cthulhu emerging to devour us all?"

James Holden's the main character in The Expanse, so my mind went there.
The name’s .Bond .Gold . Bond
I can’t help but to think the number & types of supernatural babies are endless. And on the flip side, as James matures, he can become an attending nurse (changing blood bags, etc... And then, much later down the line, he can become a hospice nurse that is frequently given supernatural death bed confessions.
As for the present story, if the mom is over a hundred years old, but only looks to be 35, doesn’t the same logic apply to her daughters? They may look like 9 year olds, but their life experience would land them closer to 25 or 30. Much older than James and thus be able to take care of themselves?

That’s a way more complicated list than 90% of other rules story and this dude actually listened after the first bit better than most. Good story.
Im betting the meating Minerva went to, and its importance of it was the witches observing if Jason could handle being a paranormal babysitter by putting him through the super natural ringer.

Ahh, they even snuck a “rules” in there. In addition to the complete originality of the story. And a lot of them make you feel as if that house is an opening to an entire netherworld.
Hey! He figured that they were real far quicker than most! Good for him. Overall a great storyline, plenty of room for an abundance of follow ups and I don’t seem to be alone in wanting some! A+!

Please do a babysitter story about werewolves and gr8 story. I liked how u made the kiddos older kids. Nobody would want to hear a story that had an six year old in it.
