Placing the huge new S&S wedge-head V-twin engine in front with a single exhaust pipe running down each side (like the racing cars of the old days) is a stroke of brilliance. It literally feels and sounds like a race-car of the early 1930s! Too bad it costs the big bucks though.

I am getting one to take the kids to school. I might get a tow hitch fitted so I can tow my caravan. Then I will fit the extra wheel that's missing. I wish they would make a diesel 4 door model. The biggest problem is going to be the roof rack. A bit pricey, but worth every shilling.

I live in Malvern and see these pretty much daily.. I got a lift in one in the summer and it's a weird experience, 30mph has never felt so damn fast

Brilliant! Morgan should apply some of their magnesium alloy technology to a special superlite edition of the three wheeler, now that would make a really interesting vehicle. Also hope the Eva project is still progressing.

I love these things, I love that you can play with it on the open road and keep a clean licence, Important to me as I make my living with my driving licence. Just a pity I can't afford one.

sadly this is a hand build car. it takes time and skill to build it.
if someone like toyota starts to mass produce it, then it gets cheep. but the mass will not buy it. that means it will stay expencive..

is it legal in the US to drive?
I'm pretty sure it is. US government with its protectionism sometimes doesn't let good cars into USA, but this doesn't cause any threat for american cars, so it should be legal. But you probably would have to register it as a motorcycle - at least in my country and some others in Europe it is a motorcycle. Because it has motorcysle engine, just 3 wheels (two of which are motorcycle too), no body and so on. But thats not a problem.
It has nothing to do with protectionism. Impact standards and emissions standards require money and engineering to meet, although some exceptions are made for very low production vehicles. The Morgan is legally a motorcycle in the US, using an American built and EPA-approved motorcycle engine. They are sold in the US.
Is it more stable when driven in reverse?
the only thing that bothers me is the body. If they rounded the bottom towards the inside like most cars of that time, it would look gorgeous

A very expensive toy for the collectors or the wealthiest of us as the rest of the morgan cars. Useless, non practical, primitive, uncomfortable. But still beautiful!
meh for that price I'd rather get a 2014 Campagna T-Rex 16S.It smokes this 3 wheeler in every aspect.
Excluding ultimate coolness and it looks a bit awkward ....

My friend bought one of these brand new.... A week later, he hated and put it up for sale. Ate 3 grand.
Well, he bought it for a fun driving experience. He said the transmission made a really loud humming sound and it road like shit compared to a motorcycle or automobile.
Ya! It looks like a fun little car, I think I would enjoy it, but his biggest complaint was that he couldn't hear the engine over the transmission. He never test drove one either. Live and learn I guess.
In the future could you not put silly music over the driving and engine sounds?

NO thanks! Get a motorcycle instead. Cheaper and its more fun.
The Morgan won't fall over when you stop, and in rainy weather you will only get wet, you won't land up donating your organs.
