Had pain on the left side for two years now….cant fix it…therapist couldn’t fix it…had ultrasound and all good but hurts like crazy. Now seems to be spreading to hip and lower back.
Its been more than 3 months now and im feel well but i cannot rotate to much my right leg like i do with the left one i still feel bit of pain and pression on hip flexor 😔
I’m on week 4 on crutches.. I’m finally getting an MRI in couple days .. but everything points to a tear .. I can’t raise my leg it hurts really bad .. how much rehab should I do without prolonging the recovery
Sir i have gone through MRI it is a grade 2 tear of acl. So will i recover myself or I will need surgery to that. Well i can run and jog but can't run so fast. I had my injury one month ago

You mind expanding on what should be done? You mean you should do whole body movement involving eccentric movement of the hip rather than isolated eccentric hip movement?
@@YeNZeC Thanks for the advice. To be honest I was very eager to go back to working out so I haven't taken any extra days off... there's still teeny tiny pain, guess I will take some time off :(
@Paolo Cordero It’s much better now. As I wrote in above comment I have teeny tiny pain but I can walk and workout easily. Tbh the only thing I did was relax, I didn’t stretch at all because, as I was told, the muscle was overly stretched and last thing you wanna do is stretch is more. So if you’re experiencing hip flexor strain, just stop working out and maybe ice the affected area

My hip clicks when I try the raising exercise…what does that mean?
More specifically on the downward motion

This is awful.
We need to be focusing on eccentric exercises, not isolating the muscle in only an eccentric=concentric fashion

Agreed. I heard you're meant to do light biking when it feels better, warm it up, and foam roll with heel raised slightly
After resting for one week, my paid is almost gone. Should I rest further?
Yeah. I would. Pain is gone but still healing. Take another 2 weeks.
