This guy is gangsta. I thought i had hip impingement, for about 2 years i was doing a hip impingement routine with a band before exercise - long story short, activating the glute minimus with the exercise at 04:23 cured the TFL discomfort i was experiencing INSTANTLY.

Thank you so much for making this video, it really saved my life!
A few years ago, I was running a lot every day and my groin started to hurt so much, I wasn't able to walk properly, even after resting for a few days.
It wasn't just a lot of pain, but at times it felt like my groin just got 'locked up' and I simply couldn't move my thighs. This happened many times, often randomly, and scared me so much...
I went to see some doctors and they said nothing seem to be wrong, and that I just need to let my muscles rest.
I was troubled by this for a few weeks until I found this video.
After doing this for 20min, all the pain went away immediately, it was unbelievable!
My pain came back the next day, but I kept doing the exercise for a week and the pain truly went away.
I re-watch this video from time to time, please don't ever delete this!

I was so upset. I can’t imagine taking that long off. Well….did this exercise and some super basic yoga stretches. And bam within 48 hours I was back. I even landed a new trick my first session back. I so am stoked.

I'm a long distance runner and had stopped running for two weeks because of hip pain (most probably an overuse injury), wasn't able to lift my leg, tried so many other exercises and stretches, nothing works until I saw this video two days ago and started doing the two exercises showed in the video, back to running yesterday (ran 3k, still a little painful but bearable) and surprisingly able to run today as well (5k, felt much better than yesterday). Great info! I'm coming back from a hip replacement, anterior approach. I'm 4 months out and have been super frustrated that my hip flexors and adductors always feel strained. That isolated glute minimus exercise is something I need to add to my rehab. 🔥😎

This is wild. I've had weeks of hip pain and felt so discouraged- no matter how many days I rested, it kept flaring up.
I tried this very skeptically while scrolling and immediately experienced relief of the nagging hip pain that's been bothering me for weeks. Incredible.

Hi. I injured my hip flexor while kicking/ kneeing a heavy bag almost a year ago. After going to a physical therapist for a few months, I saw little improvement. I am still not completely healed on that side, but this video has helped immensely. I have seen a noticeable improvement since strengthening my glute min/ max. I have also incorporated lower ab strengthening.

Now this is amazing. The 2nd time I did the exercises I felt and heard a couple of "pops" in my neck, no pain, just like a release. I have been bothered with an occasional sore, cracking neck, on that side for years ....................... not any more ! ........ Awesome, thanks again Corexcell, this has been a huge help to me.

I strained my hip flexor muscle doing glute bridge. I have Anterior Pelvic Tilt and strengthening my glute is essential. Haven't been able to train properly for 2 weeks. And after resting for a few days the pain on my left hip flexor muscle kept coming back. I tried this for 2 days and I feel instant change. Now I'm incorporating this in my APT rehab. You are amazing .

I love this! Most videos just show exercises for Glute medius, which I have trouble feeling in my right glute. No matter what variations of exercises to target the Glute medius I feel it more in my TFL. But the exercises in this video helped me understand better. I also have a left hip impingement for 3 years now and this helps. Thank you!

Sure.. willing to try ANYTHING at this point. I am 6 months in.. this has been the most painful injury of my life. It started with what felt like pinching when I got off the couch and quickly escalated to extreme pain all the way around the front and back hip and down the inner thigh and groin area. They did an MRI and diagnosed me with a grade 3 hip flexor strain, wish I would have asked which muscle cause hip flexor is such a generic term. Couldn't walk.. couldn't move. After 4 months of PT and I was finally able to attempt to do things again, and the pain finally localized to right at the hip joint where it has stayed for a few more months. I am a VERY active person and its killing me to have to hold back! Gonna start doing this daily and see if it helps.

Hope you are feeling better. Playing 6 days a week may mean you may need a few days during the week to heal the muscle, either complete rest with heat, or very gentle massage and stretch. Hope you are feeling better and still playing !

If your truly interested in getting fixed. Then u should do face time sessions with me and learn my 5 hip exercise testing system. If one of those is off then it is causing your knee pain. None of these exercises are up on youtube. Let me know and i can email u the info and pricing. Thanks again for your interest
