    The whole “eyeshadow looks are on the way out” phase UA-cam is going through right now kinnnnda ticks me off a little 😂.
    I’m thinking “no. No no nope. UA-cam doesn’t get to tell me to buy beautiful colorful eyeshadows and do exquisite eyeshadow looks one month, show video after video after video of beautiful colorful eyeshadow looks….then, the next month, tell me not to do those eyeshadow looks, and now do the clean girl esthetic, with hardly any eyeshadow. No. I’m not playing that game, UA-cam.” 😂

      It's something I've noticed but not necessarily something I've subscribed to! I just observed in general it's less of a focus in a lot of makeup videos and even the every day routine. They can take my shadow from my cold dead hands 😂 HOWEVER I'm not necessarily doing a 5-shade blend for casual everyday wear anymore.

    Beautiful look. I’ve done full eyeshadow looks but my lids are so dark, it’s a lot of work. My fave one and done is an oldie, revlon colorstay cream eyeshadow in caramel or crème brûlée. I get some color with a kiss of shimmer, and it covers my dark lids beautifully. I’m all about lips, and right now I am loving L’Oréal color Roche shine lipsticks, also oldie but a great one. So many colors shiny, noticeable color with a touch of cushiony softness!

    Elf soft glam is not my summer foundation. It melted right off of my face. I guess I am too sweaty. I am going to try it in fall and winter since I have it. Depending on how it performs, I will decide whether to buy it again or not.
    I just repurchased my go-to the Maybelline skin tint. That doesn't melt off of me if I happen to get sweaty.

    Out of all the different mascara I have used over the many years of wearing make up since I was 12 (I’m almost 30 now) L’Oréal mascara is the best mascara and is my old faithful. Currently I use the L’Oréal voluminous. It lengthens and thickens your lashes. Love this drugstore mascara.

    Pretty and simple Summer look Miranda. Where I live ( in Canada ) can get Super HOT in the summer as well, like today we are supposed to get up to 38 C - not super sure what that is in Farenheit 😅 - but HIGH nineties for sure, so the less makeup the better sometimes. I usually have just been doing a Tinted Sunscreen right now Neutrogena, a little concealer - Sephora Luminous, Bronzer, a lip oil, Brown mascara, and NXY Warm Neutrals on my eyes (. I've always gone for that subtle no eye makeup,eye makeup lol ) but I do quite like simple shadows and palettes that compliment my eye colour....

    Hi Miranda I love the elf soft glam and I am definitely a makeup junkie but I cannot put lashes on for nothing. I've even tried the ones that don't need glue and ones that are individually. I love my essence highlighter cause I'm gonna be 54 and it doesn't look textured. Have you tried the Maybelline lifters plump? They do sting but I love em. Rn I only have 2 and they look dark in the tube but they're not dark when you put it on. I think I have every one of the lifters. I love them,, to me they're not sticky and don't get on your teeth. I have the L'Oréal infallible gloses and I love the colors but they literally get all over your teeth. Can you give me some advice about the lashes and a trick for the lip products that don't get all over your teeth ? I'm sorry that my comment is so long but I just wanted to ask you those two things and tell you about the two products I have that I love and you love
    🌸🤍🌸

    • @slashedbeauty
      @slashedbeauty  5 місяців тому +1

      Yes! If you haven't checked it out already, I did a lip plumpers video a few months back and tested the Maybelline ones.
      For the lashes, what seems to be your biggest issue? Is it placing it in the right spot, keeping them glued down, etc?
      As far as the lips, try putting your thumb in your mouth (like if you were a kid sucking your thumb) then pull it straight out. This will usually grab the product on the inside of your lips that would end up on your teeth!

    • @rachelrae860
      @rachelrae860 5 місяців тому

      Thank you so much for replying back to me and thank you for the lip hack and as far as the lashes go it's like I just can't put them in correctly and the glue if there's a slight chance I place them in the right spot it's like the glue just does stick and I do wait a couple of minutes to put them on I was just thinking I've never curled my lashes or use mascara. I just try doing it without prepping it I've watched on TikTok how some of the girls do it without using any eyelash curly and mascara so I honestly have no idea where I'm going wrong. I also wanted to tell you I have the same eyelash curler as you and if I'm right I think it's the Japanese one I know that didn't come out right but I couldn't figure out how to spell it so I'm voice texting but Revlon used to be my favorite eyelash curler then I bought another Japanese one that liked the handles were spread far apart and I did not like that one at all but the one I have now I love and again I'm so sorry for writing you a novel😂😂
