I loove the nyx buttermelt bronzer as a blush. I got it to use it as a blush because it’s so rosy, it is the perfect shade (on me) for that slightly sunburned cheek effect (without damaging my skin).
I love how you’ve accepted your eyebrows as is. I have medium to thin ish brows with a good shape and brow hairs that don’t want to be combed straight up. I’m tired of feeling like there is something wrong with that. I’ve also just simplified my brow routine to match my brows. Your brows suit your features! Love it!
For those that like a glowy blush, I would recommend the glowy Catrice blushes as well! I bought per your recommendation a while ago, but got the glowy one and it’s beautiful!!
I wish those NYX butter bronzers and blushes worked for me. I find them hard to blend out as they are very pigmented. With your fair skin it just shows me that you have a seriously deft hand! The Milani matte lipsticks are my all time favorite. The packaging is the best!!!❤

Thank you for great recommendations. You are one of my favorite creators, because you try trends, but always evaluate whether they really go with your own personal style and look. I love when people pay more attention to how to make themselves ”shine brighter” and emphasize their beautiful unique features, rather than trying to erase and cover every ”flaw” that doesn’t fit into the current obsession of features. Of course one can have fun and play with make up as well as cover their imperfections, but I would wish people would appreciate their unique features more. I recently realized my favorite eyebrow pencil is seemingly discontinued. It was the Rimmel Brow This Way pencil and what I loved about that pen was that it had small fibers and it was so great to use with my sparse eyebrows. I tried to find another drugstore product with similar fibers here in EU, but unfortunately I could not find any cruelty free ones. The closest came two other products, both brow mascaras you tried. They don’t emphasize it in their marketing a lot, but both actually have fibers in them. That might be why they’ve suited you. I’m thinking of trying them myself even more after this review. :-) I almost forgot, that I’ve been always doing everything through the back of my hand. That way I get more control over whatever product I use. Lipstick etc are the only ones I put from their packages and sometimes I even warm them brushing against my hand. I guess it’s also because I’m also quit fair so colours are going to be more unforgiving on my skin than on someone who has darker skin.
Same here, everything is going on the back of my hand. I think it is a makeup artist thing too. You can control the pigment level and the aplication so much better.

I’ve been using it as an excuse to buy luxury products 😅 I’m trying to go on a no makeup buy this month and then hopefully later on I’ll try to purchase mostly drugstore!
You got me to try the nyx buttermelt bronzers and they got me from wearing bronzer very rarely to wearing it almost every day! I love how smooth and blendable they are, and they work great for blending out harsh tan lines too 😂
The e.l.f. tubing mascara is too wet for me. I curl my eye lashes, put the mascara on, & the curl immediately disappears. So I put it on my lower lashes instead, & it doesn't move - in the best way possible. All the same, it's the only mascara that I've ever used on my lower lashes where it doesn't leave me with raccoon eyes halfway thru the day.
I'm fair. I do get a slight cast from the essence highlighter, but there's something about it that is worth it lol. If i really blend the edges it works beautifully.
Want to pop in and add the Believe beauty cream blush in dollface is amazing! Such a shame its so hard to get your hands on. Its the perfect pink without being super blue toned or being too hot pink, great pink for fair to light olive skin :)
the inkey list isn't drugstore.. it's drugstore price. I'd be totally fine if we did a more general "#1 Best (Affordable) Product in every category" but people frequently seek out drugstore recs not only for price.. but availibility. Can appreciate video idea anyway though. If we can't find these at our local drugstore-grocery store, in my book that takes out an essential component of drugstore makeup shopping.
Very accurate! not everyone has an ulta, sephora, or beauty specific retailer nearby, but many people can find groceries or a drugstore. A lot of influencers act like "affordable from a retailer" is the same. It's not. If someone only has $10-$15 to spend and not the extra $$ to get free shipping from Sephora or Ulta for $25 or $35, whatever the retailer requires, that's what people on serious budgets have to work with. Not everyone has free shipping based on money spent on retailers or paying for amazon prime.

I might go check and see how many of these products are available next time I visit a drugstore.

Ooh good question!!! The Milani is quite neutral but the nyx pulls a bit rosy so it would depend on your preference. I also find the NYX to be more powdery and pigmented. I really love both though!
I got a couple of those Elf lip liners, but like every other Elf product I have, they are too warm for my cool skin tone. I cannot find anything at Elf that does not lean warm.
I bought catrice peach heaven on your suggestion.....that too from USA as its not sold here in 🇨🇦......sad to report that it smells awful, like so bad i cant wear it at sll and i am not fragrance intolerant or anything. The blush smell horrible 😢😢
