My friend Nate, needed guidance on his spark plugs replacement but only the spark plugs located close to the engine firewall, Bank 1. He had replaced the Bank 2 spark plugs already, before this repair.
Nate did great replacing his own spark plugs. Good job Nate!!

This must be why I am happy sticking to 4 cylinder engine cars. V6’s and V8’s are great for power, but can be a pain to work on. My old SUV was a 2003 Saturn VUE 3.0 L V6 that had the thermostat and spark plugs under the intake. You also had to remove the front motor mount to replace the serpentine belt!

Too bad you didn't have a Vue 1 year newer. 2004 had the honda J35 V6 which was not too bad to work on. Pretty quick too.

Pretty good, I didn't remove the intake, just snuck my arm behind. But, it is a Camry XLE V6 , same engine. I believe there is more room to sneak behind the intake in the Camry than a Sienna, I will find out when doing this on my brothers van lol

You call that speedy???? 🤣I did my 99 sienna about 7 years ago and I remember taking out the windshield wiper motor and the cowling and the air box assembly. I had a super long extension 3/8 and was able to get to them. Maybe they changed things in all those 14 years. 😁 Thanks. It's like working on a honda Goldwing. You have to take almost the entire bike apart just to get to the the simplest things. So I have 2 headache vehicles. 🙄

don't know why toyota V6 is a worst design to get to the rear banks for the plugs. you gotta rip half the engine apart to get to 3 plugs. it's good idea to replace the coils as well while are at it. you don't want to rip it apart again to replace the coils.
