This is one of the best mechanic videos I've ever seen on UA-cam. Great editing, short and to the point, no bs dialogue that really isn't that funny. You took the time to show the proper technique and tools. Most importantly, you gave thanks to the Lord above. Many blessings to you and your family my friend, thanks for the awesome video!
Awesome job! I love how your videos show everything going on, without wasting time - not a bunch of talking. Thank you! I have the same Sienna. This is very helpful.
Wow Finally a Special mechanic who gets down to the point i love you're Videos Good Shots / i'm surprice he does'nt have any Snitching neighbors calling the City inspectors / I'm learning a lot From Angel I love working on my Car i save tons of $$$$$$ / i used to have a lot of mobile mechanics friends but many times i got RIP OFF
Angel 😇 i really think your a great mechanic. Back home I've seen guys like you who can make anything work just about. Really smart and also generous for sharing your knowledge in depth. People realize that the sacrifice to film this while doing such an involved job takes Lots of effort and extra time. Ive done racks and the last thing im thinking about is filming. Thanks for the video I learned a lot🙏🏽👊🏽
Hi Angel, I enjoy watching your videos. It helps me understand the pitfalls as a beginner DIY and how to fix them on my cars. I also enjoy how you interweave your family in the videos. Being a Dad is universal. I can sooo relate to the dialog. :)
Thank you for this video. I’m about to work on an 05 Sienna and needed some help. This is where I get all of my information and schooling. Again thank you GOD BLESS.
I love how you show the sizes and what type of tools that you use. It helps a lot for that information. So many videos that tell you the sizes or tools.
Got the same work done on my 96 toyota camry.. like watching your videos everytime before my mechanic does any work on my car, that way I get an idea of what needs to be done and I don't get ripped off.👍👍
Angel I have never seen anyone else do such a great job as you do with one hand using a tool and filming with the other truly amazing! You don't miss a beat. that's why i really enjoy watching and learning from you . Keep up the good video's and have a groovy day Man. I'm proud of you.Bye Thomas
subscribed as soon as I saw the family. good man. Thanks for the video. Nice to see someone tackle this from the ground as most of us would half to do it this way ourselves. God bless you and your family
Immediately liked video after seeing your wonderful family. Really enjoyed it for the entertainment value, the prayer and it’s a pretty darn good how to.
I was until 2013 a master ase tech 4 20 yrs but I never really had to work on toyota very much cause they just don't break down very often....so thanks for posting
Thank you for keeping all of the swearing in your videos (except the ones when your kids are helping 😇). It makes every episode feel authentic since I’ve been in those situations hundreds of times working on cars. Feel you 1000% every time you swear 😉
I would suggest keeping the cussing in but bleeping it with a funny sound effect like epic meal time did. Angel is my favorite YT tech, and I like to watch with my kids cuz they're interested too, but your channel, your call. Great vid again, Angel!
Thank you for the video, a job like this can run at almost $1,000.00 more or less depending if you use Original Toyota Parts, again thank you for posting this. I just purchased a steering rack for my 2008 Sienna and replacing it myself, hopefully It'll be ok...
Love your vids man. One big thing that I picked up while working at a shop was saving all of those miscellaneous caps and plugs from new parts, makes life easier when you don't have fluid dripping everywhere.
I'm married to an 8000 island girl. I've never seen a guy that works on cars. Dude....you can ride in my hemi anytime. You are funny as hell. Keep up the good work. Nice family. Got some nice tools.
Had to do this on my 1987 Nissan Sentra back in the day. It was not fun! I could imagine on a bigger vehicle with more items and bigger engine. You’re the man Angel! Great videos as always 👍
Thanks for the video. I have a 2000 Sienna with 270,000. Runs great. That's nearly the distance to the moon. Lol. I try to do my own repairs, when I can.
Great video! I too love your appreciation paid to God! I also love the boxing moves! Give a little pause to the whole “work” thing happening. My main suggestion would be to loosen/break the nuts on the outer tie rods before disassembling everything. That would save some frustration and muscle!!
Hard labour, you earn every penny/dollar. Cant justify the respect you deserve hats off to you sir. All the best & happy new year to you and your family.
Awesome job as usual. Keep it up. It looks to me like a lot of your jobs are as courtesy to folks you know. I'm sure they greatly appreciate you and probably more than fair charges.
Just fixed a leaky rack, one of the pressure lines had a rust pinhole! One thing where I am, you learn to flare metal lines in your sleep! I can't believe how clean and rust free those 20yo cars are.
NEW CAMERA ALERT GUYS! Your island features come out with this one lol, like old Bata Reyes. This camera looks great - wonderfully done, as always. Wishing you and the kids a happy new year!
Excellence youtuber. Everything clearly shows I wish you can show little more how to put it back as I try to save money on my use 2001 Sienna. By the way the van look very clean. Thanks
I enjoy the vids you put out. Great because shows it being done like a hard working typical DIYer at home garage driveway. Keep up the awesome work pare!
It's been 5 years since this video, it helped me to refresh my memory. You have received many congratulations for the blessing as well for the cursing, my question is were you really standing? In the Rock or the sand? Remember Ephesians 4:29 and 1 Corinthians 11:1 I hope that you continue your spiritual growth and be able as the head of your family to guide them to the full knowledge of Jesus Christ. As a brother to a brother in Christ just doing what Romans 15:14 is telling me to do. God Bless you and your family.
Excellent video. After watching, I've decided NOT to try this at home, but I WILL attempt to sodder a leak on the pinion shaft. Adorable kids btw, and awesome all American suburbia vibe, love it.
This video reminds me why the tires were not on alignment when I replaced the tie rod end. I have come to my senses maybe I have to count the number of threads and so I did it and I was able to fix it.
You make an impossible job on the ground look possible. There's nothing easy about frozen nuts and bolts on your back and no space to swing a wrench. You bring the reality of fixing cars, swearing and all, and show it all on your videos. I'm a fan and follower. My question is I have a 99 Camry with the same problem. Is replacing the rack and pinion unit on the Camry any easier on the 99'. I've replaced the control arms on the 99' , also on my back, but those were out there and not buried underneath, and against the firewall. I don't have your experience. but this is my only car and I've worked on the simple stuff since 2003. Thank you for any comments you may have. Love your videos.
17:25 imagine being his neighbor, n u decide 1 day that you're finally gonna go n talk to him bout problems ur having with ur car n u see him doing this!!😂
Angel! Ur a real one brother👍🏼thank u broski for all ur videos and giving alot of details in ur videos.. thank u...u even throw in the grunt's and cussing for bonus😂🤣..💯
Thank you!! 🙏🏽 Just finished changing the steering rack bushing on the same type 1999 Sienna. Now I know I can replace the rack without removing the subframe 🤎
Did you replace the bushings without taking out the steering rack? I'm worried it will damage the pinion seal like this video shows then I will need to buy a new rack. I'm about to do the same job.
@@tedwu9354 I got to the bushing without removing the rack, but unbolted a corner of the subframe for a lil bit of clearance. Used prybars. New bushing is so tight it took prybars to get the rack back in. Didn't do the other bushing on the right side but that doesn't contribute to play the same way. Those two bolts that hold the rack to the car are god-level tight. I used chemicals, flamethrowers, hammers, & the biggest impact gun I had. It was almost as bad as a Honda crank pulley bolt.
@@tedwu9354 And just to give a lil update, my 99 Sienna is driving better, straighter, and smoother than it has in 15 years. The improvement from changing just that one bushing will change your mind about ever selling these vans.
@@anupjthomas Thanks for sharing your experience on changing the bushing. I'm scared to drive my 2004 Sienna on the highway. Going straight is fine but when I turn the steering wheel, the car starts beeping and ABS will activate and car will shift. I'm hoping by changing the bushing will correct the problem. I tried to remove the two bolts holding the sway bar but couldn't find a good angle. Maybe I will attempt to remove it from the top with a long extension. Thanks again.
I'm trying to use a regular 17mm wrench where you use the line wrench/flare nut wrench in the beginning. It fits on but getting leverage to loosen seems impossible a normal wrench goes on but in a different angle so prying it doesn't work. Might have to find me one of those wrenches but thanks for the video. I probably wouldn't even attempt this job without this guide.
Good workmanship the only thing I did not understand why there was tape on the speedo cluster. I am a really big fan of angel but we never see any replys on comments we leave.
Hi tanveer, thank you.Thats not tape. thats palm tree leaf shaped into a cross. it's from my church. Filipinos are very superstitious so i leave it on my cluster to keep me safe while im driving. this year i will try to comment only after one day has passed when i upload a video. thank you for watching
Great vido. Would have helped if you explained what you were doing as you went along as I am not a mechanic. After watching, now I understand why mechanics charge so mucy. Tha is a lot of work and takes special tools. Hope I can get my mechanic to watch this. Not sure how many steering racks he has done.
I love it when you say thank you to God in the morning before you start your day. Would be nice to have a mechanic like you in my area.

This guy does a lot of Nissan repairs too. My wife was shocked when I replaced both CV axles on her Murano. I told her that an Angel helped me out.
Damn, finally a mechanic who doesn’t record with a potato. Great video resolution and clarity. 👍
Awesome job!
I love how your videos show everything going on, without wasting time - not a bunch of talking.
Thank you!
I have the same Sienna.
