the civilian: starts with simple and kinda useless weapons.
can pick up any weapon
picked up weapons are 20% weaker (with all stats)
instead of the damage nerf, guns cant reload

For everyone who doesnt know:
The civillian was a class in Team Fortress Classic that was unique to a single gamemode, escort.
In the gamemode, 1 person was the civillian, who had 50 HP and his only weapon was the umbrella, which dealt 18 damage.
The BLU team had to escort him through the map and the RED team had to kill it.
Pretty much Payload.

He would go down in a single bodyshot from TF2’s sniper rifles, aside the Classic and Hitman’s Heatmaker, that’s why he was buffed to 320* In TF2 Classic

You"re not right. Red team had name "Bodyguards",they had to defend "The Hunted" (civilian,blue team). The Yellow team (Assassins) had to assassinate the civilian.
Only problem I have with this is there could be stupid civilians that would not know how to play or run into everything. Not mentioning trolls.

nah, "How it FEELS to play Civilian" is what's supposed to make you "feel" like a civilian.
*Civilian:*
Health: 100 (125 while overhealed)
Heals twice as fast and has 1.5X übercharge time
Runs faster after being damaged
+20% money in MvM
Captures control points as fast as Scout
Covers head to protect himself (headshots do regular damage)
Can safely peek around corners to check for sentries/enemies
Involuntarily calls for Medic whenever damaged
Auto-dodges Jarate
*Weapons:*
Can occasionally steal other character’s melee weapons
Umbrella:
Deflects melee weapons, fire, airblasts and explosions
Durability decreases from bullet holes (can still be used as a weapon but can’t shield)
15 damage per hit (30 while übered)
Allows slow falling (negates fall damage)
Pistol:
Exactly the same as Scout’s pistol
Briefcase:
Slower running
More damage than umbrella
Slot-machine gun:
Machine gun resembling a slot machine
Rapidly fires golden coins
Moderate damage
*Taunts:*
Poppins- Jumps high and slowly floats down while cowardly clinging to umbrella
Muffin top- Happily snacks on a double chocolate muffin
Rainy day- Raincloud forms above head, opens up umbrella
(Tauntkill) Watch your step- Places open umbrella top on floor in front of him, first player to step next to it trips and lands on the sharp point
(Tauntkill) Case closed- Opens up briefcase, enemy leans in to look at what’s inside, Civilian lifts case then slams it shut and crushes enemy’s head
No time to kill- Pulls out golden pocket watch and taps it while saying “Let’s hurry this along now, gentlemen!”
Kazotsky catch your breath- Begins Kazotsky Kick but stops and hunches over while rasping
Cuban cough- Puts fancy Cuban cigar in mouth and lights it then proceeds to spit it out and cough violently
That would be way too good considering the civillian is supposed to just be a payload.

Not every class has bullets you know like medic but he has syringes so nevermind but the demoman has no choice but the melee

It may be a bad SFM, but this scripting and cinematography is amazing (based on what you have to work with, of course).
Vavle should put civilian class, it have only melee, his avilable to pick up EVRY WEPON FROM ENEMY TEAM, like minigun scattergun rocket and grande luncher, and other thing, and secoundaris, and melee wepon

I'm not yet an animator, but that's what i'm studying. And i have some remarks to give.
- Rythm. The whole video is very slow but without any purpose. The rythm of an animation must be set according to a purpose. It TF2, and alos in "meet the team" vids, we are most of the time in action, or in battle scene. So the animation's rythm have to be fast most of the time. And in yours, it should be like so.
In this video, there is a lot of shots that are way too long, the camera and characters are very static.
- Shy Animation. You are shy in animating. The movements are not accentuated, barely discreet. It's like watching a show made with dismembered puppets. You should take the animation process in another way. In Disney animations, on of the main rules was "Exaggerate everything, even the slightest movement, as much as possible until you feel that a bit more would be too much." You should consider it.
- Poor Animations. Remember that even the slightest movements includes several movements. There is never only one muscle moving alone.

It's not bad. It may not be up to the highest quality of other SFMs, but it still works as a pretty decent SFM. At least you can say, you can make one.

Would be cool if the civilian class could steal the melee weapons out of the other classes' hands (except for the fists) and gain the bonuses they would usually give at a 50% damage reduction and +35% firing speed.

I had a concept, that the Civilian has only his umbrella as a weapon, but it has three modes:
Primary: A concealed shotgun, just like the most classes (soldier, pyro, engie and heavy) use, can be replaced with Panic Attack and reserve shooter.
Secondary: Civilian opens the umbrella, and uses it as a shield, to cover himself, and other teammates from enemy fire. When deployed it also acts like BASE jumper. He can't attack though, and the shield can be destroyed, which can be seen as umbrella getting more gunshot holes and become more, and more tattered. It can be fixed with ammo boxes, and at the spawn. If Ubercharged, the umbrella shield is indestructible, and protects from Pyro's airblast.
Melee: Self explanatory, Civilian bashes his enemies with the Umbrella.
Honestly, I thought he was going to have a nail gun or a staple gun. You know something a civilian would have.

If Civilian was in the game he would be my main for only two reasons.
1. He has more health than Scunt at least
2. You can get crazy critical hits with him
1:00 by the looks of this he has only 1 hp

civilian is actually a thing now, theres a mod called tf2 classic that allows you to play as him.
he has medium speed and 200 hp. his umbrella is his only weapon and a melee, it attacks faster but does less damage.
he can give mini crits to a player for 10 seconds and gives a passive buff to all players nearby
tbh a civilian class that has a bulletproof umbrella would actually be pretty cool. Not sure what his pthwe weapons would be though, possibly a small pistol or one of the stock weapons used by other classes such as the pistol or shotgun.
He could have a pocket pistol

skill: can create a resonance cascade that have chances to spawn 3 headcrabs, one HECU soldier or a security guard
each headcrab have 35 hp and they will attack anything (red or blu) and turn them into zombies
the hecu soldier have 200 hp, a machinegun and some granades and will attack anything (red or blu)
the security guard have 175 hp and will attack the enemy team
bonus: the gaben, it have 100000000 hp and its unkillable
it will increase the item drop rate by 90%, but, it will make random players disconect
- DEFAULT - he heals himself instantly back to full hp
New class: Chell
Hp:100
weapons;portal gun,ap_sap(wheatly),mini companion cube
Skill:can create portals ,mini companion cube acts like a sand man ,ap-sap acts like a sapper
speed: similar to medic

Civilian:
Primary: Bundle of money.
A projectile that flies in an arc, deals minor damage on hit. When it collides with a teammate it will slightly buff their firing and reload speed. This does not affect things like sniper rifle charges, the wrap assassin's bauble, or gaining uber.
Secondary: Miscellaneous.
Melee: Umbrella.
Deals the same damage as scout's stock bat. Alt-Fire to open the umbrella and block 25 damage, when the damage is taken, the umbrella will break. If any attack deals over the remaining health in one hit, all damage will be absorbed. You can use it again when you spawn.
Ideas for other weapons: The Penny Pusher.
Fires coins which travel in straighter arcs, fly faster, and fly farther. Deals intermediate damage and can be fired faster than the bundle can be thrown. However, this buffs teammates less than the stock bundle and has significantly less ammo.

The movements are very rigid, but your lighting and facial animations are pretty good.
Obviously you put a lot of effort into this. I've done 3d animation for a bit so I can tell when someone has worked hard on something. What I recommend for some parts, add a bit more motion to the bodies to make it more realistic. And in other parts, slow down just a little bit to, again, make it a bit more realistic. Love the video and animation itself though, keep it up~!

The civilian crying for medic was funny. I think to be fair many people will have different interpretations of what they think but I think for a short it was good.
