Can't believe you didn't like East Hampton. It's the most attractive place by far you have ever filmed! So full of beautiful mature trees, huge gardens, so green, no high-rise, quiet, rural, pretty deserted beaches. Really hoping you do more of Long Island, right out to Montauk. A big thumbs up from me.
When I lived in NYC in the 1980s going to The Hamptons was completely out of my reach. Now all these decades later and hunkered down in West Virginia I finally made it. Thanks!
My grandparents moved from Brooklyn to the Springs section of East Hampton in 1969. I have not been there since 1999. That Stop & Shop was an A & P. They lived until the mid 1990's and my grandfather died in 2003 when he was 99 years old. No comment about the windmill? It goes back to the 1600's. I had to bear left at the windmill to get to The Springs.
You read my mind! Same here but a tad earlier. My moms parents bought a summer place in the Springs when she was in HS '56. Your right bear left at the Windmill & take Springs-Fireplace Rd. to Hog Creek. My grandparents are dead also. So sad what is become. Last time for me was when my uncle died in 2004. We could see what a nightmare the traffic was. Loved all my summers out there. To this day nothing beats those beaches especially the bay.
Cool video. I visited the area over Thanksgiving and just before Christmas. I took a nice walk on Georgica Beach and sat on that bench for a while. Loved it. The waves were amazing, and there were like two cars there. You gotta get out to Montauk. It's got a whole different vibe (more chill, less of that feeling that wealth controls all like the Hamptons). It's still super affluent but more relaxed. The area around the lighthouse is amazing for hikes. There are these cool cliffs that are easily accessible, and the beach below the lighthouse is amazing. 😁👍
very nicely done. fond memories of long summer days as a child here and in southampton. way, way back in the 1950's. now live in thailand but a bit nostalgic. same old houses.
Hi! I created a couple of history-based "zines" and sent them to bookstores across the country before covid hit, one of the places I sent them was Harper's Books, so much fun to see you pass the place on your trip. Best to you.
That intersection at Cross Highway and Rt 27 was a bit scary too. Worried he as going to get hit by an impatient driver trying to turn. Biking on the main roads in The Hamptons isn't for the faint of heart apparently :o
Might the camera angle higher up next time? Seems we are looking straight into the pavement much throughout. The road horizon at dead center is the best type of shot (usually)... Go well!
Thank you. The famous Lili Pond Beach and Ocean Av, in the corner, Jon Bon Jovi has his famous house, too. Thank you for your video I like East Hampton but I can't go there, I live in Argentina.
It's the exclusivity, huge parties and hobnobbing with the who's who. When you blow up some more you'll be ready. Reserve your space now! 🎶My rolodex bigger than your's is😍
In Australia we drive on the other side of the road,,,this all seems very Scary, a specially the left turn😱But I did enjoy my trip to the Hamptons, As I can only go 5 km (3miles) from my home during lockdown😷 so, Thank You 😍Stay Safe and Take Care 🙋🏻♀️🕊
Violeta Brdar: British commonwealth country. doesn’t explain japan who also does the same but, Perry much any commonwealth country (besides Canada) drives on left side
Interesting tour! Quite a similar area to near where I live - huge properties, wealthy owners, nice beaches, and a golf course 😎. Must be quite bleak in the winter though...
East Hampton is Beautiful and it reminds me of Greenfield Hills in Fairfield Connecticut. I use to go there to see the Dogwood Blooms that were fantastic in Springtime.
We tried sharing group houses in both Southhampton and Westhampton Beach. The problem is groups are frowned on, so real estate agents will only rent to one person signing the lease, and plopping down the money. Then that person has to get 7 other friends to agree to buy a share. On top of that, you need cars because the train stations are no where near the beaches which are no where near restaurants and markets. This is in addition to all the usual problems when acquaintances/strangers share a house--- Who ate my steaks? Who invited that wierd guy. We gave up both seasons.
Absolutely not. It’s likely the worst place to stand around due to the speed of the cars and the fact that those middle lanes are for turning into driveways
So exclusive, gates, high shrubs, private beaches, security signs..not really my life style.. probably a lot of attitude as well. Makes you wonder what us common/poor ppl are doing. // Reflecting on your vid of "The Hole" and the Hampton life style and that makes a statement. Thx for the bike ride..I get a sense of why that beach is called 'Hollow."
Lots of riding today. Yes have been in those circles and didn’t like it is why I’m divorced. Maid or whoever gets groceries the ppl golf or exercise and hang out at pool for brunches etc. At night u shower again dress for evening if its a catered event that happens and u entertain pretty well every nite or out to neighbors doing same thing each nite. I find it awful boring They wouldn’t hang out in public its not Kosher, no way😀
man you were doing good till you started the goofy talk about not seeing why people would want to go there because it lacks Vegas appeal.....what a dope.
A very nice place. Thanks again Action Kid for taking us there. Stay safe.
You're welcome!

No one cover the Hamptons like you do. I was pleased to see the roadways instead of the usual (inside the mansions).

I missed the Windmill. Where on this video is it?
N M 7:17 in back of that black bus 🚌 passing by.
Man, I've never been to this part of the country, this was an amazing ride, thanks for sharing it with everyone, felt like I've lived it now
It really is beautiful out there.
Those beaches are gorgeous! Enjoyed the ride through Easthampton, AK. Thanks!
6:32 you didn’t say anything about this antique car on the left. This is very unusual and probably very expensive.
Wow, that car is really vintage!
Thanks for the great scenery!
Good stuff AK Ken. Former resident. Great to see the old hood. Beautiful.
The hamptons is a large area, i really thought it was smaller.
Got west, south and east Hampton and other areas around it.. its big and all 3 spots are different
The peace and quiet is why they live there! To get away from the noise etc of the City! I would love to live there! ✌️✌️❤️❤️
Aloha actionkid from Kauai Hawaii 🌴🌺. Love your work, I wouldn’t be able to ever visit these places without you! Mahalo 🤙🏽
You did an incredible job showing East Hampton. It was a real treat watching it. I saw it twice.
Thanks to you, I can travel the US! Thank you so much for your great work!
never been to East Hampton, so fun to see it around through you

42:00~44:19 (plus other times also): Is it me or does the audio have interference at many times on this video?
Yes, audio interference unfortunately :(
I really enjoyed the tour. Great job!

Awesome ride today!
15:50 - You're going to get us all killed! :D :D :D
That intersection at Cross Highway and Rt 27 was a bit scary too. Worried he as going to get hit by an impatient driver trying to turn.
Biking on the main roads in The Hamptons isn't for the faint of heart apparently :o
Don't stop on a bridge, 35:50 !
Thanks for the video Actionkid! Your UA-cam Channel is my favorite. Is the image stabilization only from the GoPro itself?
Yes, he used the Hypersmooth setting on the GoPro Hero 8.
Didn’t know about these area of the Hamptons great video AK. Greetings
Nice wide bike lane yes.
Dude, would love to see your bike and a description. Enjoy the videos also
Might the camera angle higher up next time? Seems we are looking straight into the pavement much throughout. The road horizon at dead center is the best type of shot (usually)... Go well!
Another great history video, maybe you can try using your 360 camera for panoramic views.
Thank you. The famous Lili Pond Beach and Ocean Av, in the corner, Jon Bon Jovi has his famous house, too. Thank you for your video I like East Hampton but I can't go there, I live in Argentina.
What else can you do there? Such a perfect place but is there anything else to do? Just curious...
I live here! :) I am suprised I didn't see myself at Two Mile Hollow
Loved the Hamptons. Montauk was my favorite visit. The lighthouse was an interesting climb. The view of the bay was wonderful
Thanks for this video
Stayed in East Hampton back in 2010. Just a short overnight visit.
Wow great job!!🏄🏽 : )
Except people who want nice, quiet peaceful low crime area to live.
Very nice place! Greetings from Brasil!
Thank you!!
Thanks Actionkid

Nice place for the ride yo!
You missed Grey Gardens!
Hi! Мне нравится смотреть твои ролики, и учить английский, спасибо что рассказываешь и показываешь. Это очень интересно. Спасибо. Thanks
there is a distortion in your external mic...

Always wondered why you drive the opposite way.
Violeta Brdar: British commonwealth country. doesn’t explain japan who also does the same but, Perry much any commonwealth country (besides Canada) drives on left side

Only snow.
Id like for you to cycle through bellport/ patchogue/ bayport-bluepoint, and sayville on south country road . Thats the area im from thank you
Everybody walks on the street. 42:00 I guess they don't like sidewalks there. At night someone could get hit.
Is the $19.00 fair round trip ticket or one way 😎?
One way .
julianbora bora 😳😳. Geez
Kind of like Beverly Hills and Bel Air in LA .
East Hampton is Beautiful and it reminds me of Greenfield Hills in Fairfield Connecticut. I use to go there to see the Dogwood Blooms that were fantastic in Springtime.
Many comments have been removed. 🤔
Well I like it
well done

This is where #Gatsby lived! Also the #Chalamets are residing at the moment!
Gatsby was on the North Fork. This is the South.
Actually he lived on the gold coast area of the north shore in Nassau county
Camera pointed down. Up up
15:09 the middle area should be safe to wait.
Absolutely not. It’s likely the worst place to stand around due to the speed of the cars and the fact that those middle lanes are for turning into driveways
My son's friend was caught in a rip tide and drowned on the beach in Easthampton on Tuesday. He was 23. So sad.
That's terrible. I'm so sorry. I learned to swim out there & even as a kid we were aware of how much stronger the surf was than NJ. & DE.
😳😳😳😳. 😢. I’m so sorry! Horrible. RIP to him. Please give your friend a hug from me! ❤️
That looks like NYC 😃😄😆😂
No beaches are private you just can't drive up because they are private roads. You can walk on all the beaches 🙂
So exclusive, gates, high shrubs, private beaches, security signs..not really my life style.. probably a lot of attitude as well. The homes are beautiful in East Hampton however Southampton is more lively
It looks nice if you like to live out of the city
谢谢分享精彩影片!
No footpath for the rich 🤣😂😅 the roads are stuffed unbelievable
I would really like to visit the Hamptons but me being a Black man would look suspicious in that part of long island 😰😰😰
no it is very diverse, white, black, Spanish, oriental, you name it. it is here, all thru long Island.
It’s THAT white there?! lol Well im White and if i was there when you visited id tell ‘em to get a life.

I wouldn't buy a house there if I had the money.
I would. Looks lovely
@@EphemeralProductions Would that be your main house or a weekend/summer house?
America's old money
Millionaire suburb and there’s no street lights nor road curve, omg 😆 don’t they pay their rates ?
And the smashed wooden fence at the beach. Wasnt impressed.
There is a lot fucking noise
man you were doing good till you started the goofy talk about not seeing why people would want to go there because it lacks Vegas appeal.....what a dope.
