Someone broke into my garage and stole my bike almost two weeks ago. Instead of replacing the bike, I bought an exercise bike yesterday and put it in front of my 65" TV in my spare bedroom. So now I can ride along with you during your bike videos 😃
Thank you so much for this. I used to ride my bike from Inwood and Washington Heights all the way to Coney Island in the middle of the night back in the 80's, but there was nothing like this. You had to ride in traffic most of the way. I miss N.Y.C, my native soil!
Exhilarating bike ride down the Hudson. I will be wearing my AK T-shirt cheering you and Gary on the sidelines as you ride thru Boston for a good cause. Hope you capture/stream your duo ride on video.
Your bike tours are the best! I feel like i'm "drafting" behind your bike on my Alchemy. There are some very narrow and woodsy sections on that path. Beautiful scenery.
Love your rides found them couple of weeks ago would love to see more of what you are talking about. Last time I was in NY was 1955 on my senior trip and yes I ride my bike as often as I can get time. You figure how old I am. Have a great day and keep smiling.👍
Thank you AK for the video, I love light houses and you passed the red lighthouse, Awesome! You are so considerate with other people , asking if they are ok when they fall , don’t ever change, be safe xoxo
Action Kid, I want to thank you for this outstanding video. In 2014, I visited the Lighthouse under the Washington Bridge, but going back to the hostel I lost my way. It started to get dark and I could not find a bus stop if I knew about this trail I could have walked to 8th Ave. W.20th St. Thank you so much, next time I visit, I will know where to go! Keep safe!!
Hi Ken, I watched your river walk ride today and so enjoyed it. I walked this several years ago as part of the Avon Breast Cancer walk and can't believe I really walked it after seeing it again today with you. We started at the World Trade Center area and walked up to the park that has the Cloisters. I'm from Calilf. so didn't exactly know where I was walking at the time but got to visit the Cloisters another time. You do a great job. Kerry
Great video. Nice to see what's uptown. Next time I'm on holiday in NYC I'll travel uptown. I've ridden cross town from East 52nd street across to the Hudson River and went downtown. All on citibikes. Think i took 5 bikes to do that journey. Soooooo hot too!
Thank you for saying this. I’ve lived here for 50 years and I’ve traveled to other cities and I still think that my city is the most beautiful place in the world. There’s something about this place that’s magical. Even though subway crime is up I still can’t get enough of my city.
I have that book I've read it to my grandson he loved the story and I also showed him the picture I took of the Bridge and Lighthouse from Fort Lee, NJ. It's a real lighthouse that NJ gave to Manhattan, NY
Very relaxing video. It's great to watch this because it's too hot on the west coast where I'm at, and there's lots of smoke pollution from the fires in California.
Coming from New Haven CT via car....is there an easy access point for the path....easy parking in and out don’t care about cost. Don’t want to drive too far into the city (time eater lol). Thx
How do you wear the camera while bike riding? I figure you wouldn't hold it the entire time. I like this video and will continue watching more of it later today.
I believe I told you ….in one of your prior videos. . When you didn’t know the name of that viewing spot . ……. And I informed you in the comments section. It’s called inspiration point. . ……… In your video. posted on May 13. 2020 Called Cycling form Hudson River greenway . To inwood. thanks for the non shout out ……….Action Kid……👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼. You know You didn’t know the name. Although…… you have great knowledge of the city…….. own up to it. When you don’t know something. And give just dues to ppl. When they enlighten you.
Only con I have about this video is he talks way too much. This is supposed to be a "virtual" tour, not audio. I'd much rather hear the surrounding sounds and not his constant voice/opinions. I will definitely have to mute this. Too bad!
A great day for a bike ride. Almost feels like I'm there watching this
It was the perfect day for a ride!

this is probably the most beautiful city in the world

Moved away from Dyckman a year ago! I loved inwood.
Thank you. I typed in the subject matter and of course the legendary AK pops up.
Great video! Hope I’ll be able ride this one day!
Brilliant mate, cheers
Nice video! 👍🌞
Watching from Australia…so good.
Hi from Brazil ! I would like to know how many km since starting point to finish ?
I wish you started at the stadium where the island begins, everyone leaves inwood hill park out.
Hi, action kid' heard of u from Toronto Walks. This was great, luv it
The weather here in arizona is not so nice but you have inspired me. I like that you use your bell. Oh and i think rollerblading is making a comeback
When AK walked thru Central Park the other day someone asked about roller bladers & one went by!
I don't know if you've done it or not but the Old Croton Aquaduct trail might be fun. Starts in the Bronx I think by Van Cortland Park.
Very enjoyable.....from Bermuda
What a great ride! So different from the rides that I have posted on my channel out here in Washington State.
Nice to see you
It's good to see N.Y. is bustling.
26 Celsius 🔥☀️ such a stunning beautiful day in NY.
So do you just load your bike on the subway and head out ?
Great video! Is Inwood safe? I ge a really good vibe about it whenever you go through it. I think I could live there.
Where's the 4k60?
i know the bike bells are for safety. But as a walker they always make me jump : 0
Coming from New Haven CT via car....is there an easy access point for the path....easy parking in and out don’t care about cost. Don’t want to drive too far into the city (time eater lol). Thx
What is the best way to get from the GWB bike path to the river path? Thanks
I think that overlook was where Mary Jane stopped.
How do you wear the camera while bike riding? I figure you wouldn't hold it the entire time. I like this video and will continue watching more of it later today.
Have you ever considered a personal tour group ride for this location?
Hi, Action Kid if it was a Walk-A-Thon how long would it take you?
Is it compulsory to wear helmet?
@ActionKid yields for pedestrians. 💪🇺🇸✌️
Motor scooter at 25:00 Is that legal?
Hey ActionKid! I did this exact same route on Citi bike about 2 hrs before you 😂 It was such a beautiful day!
You've been pedaling this whole time? I thought it was an E-bike
Yup! I was pedaling.
Are you near Sleepy Hollow?
Wahoo!
I've walked this not biked it.
Though the weather was the same, glorious.
Edit: Obviously I was on the footpath.
❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
