Your reality just slapped me across the face. I counted 16 morgue trucks and two disaster s/o command vans in just that one area where you biked around the hospital complex. Please be safe and well!!!
Thank you for bringing us along!! That was awesome/amazing!! I loved the bridge part and seeing those cherry blossom trees. I love those trees and have a few in my back yard here in Vegas!
24:40 Copinette restaurant ~ ate there twice in 1979 & 1980. Good place, too. Am surprised but glad to know it's still around. Thanks for the tour. Stay well.
I really like your cycling videos of the NYC area, particularly the narrated ones. And though I'm waaaay out of your locale, it would be great if you ever organized a group cycling ride through the mean city streets of NYC!
Make way for the Action kid!!!walk and tour through all parts of the city from the comfort of your home!! uptown, downtown...from quiet streets of Queens to beaches in Brooklyn...in the midst of a crowded times square to the desolate areas during covid_19!!! c'mon let's travel with the mighty crusader, the Action Kid!!!!!🌎👣🚶🎥
september quest you picked the perfect name for yourself, AK !!!! You're always on the move!!! Dropping us video after video, through it all....thanks from Canada.
What a time to be alive. Seeing New York like this looks like a video game! I have really enjoyed your driving videos recently, and I'm also glad to see your cycling videos again. Via Rio also did a drive-through in Rio De Janeiro as well, and I'm working on walking videos myself. Great narrated video, and be safe. Note: Also at 2:16, that is my bike!
I have learned more about NYC and areas in the last few months watching your videos than I have in a lifetime, I much prefer the side streets and the real NYC than the well known landmarks, you are the perfect guide, a very pleasant person, and YES I even laugh at your jokes and humour too, I have a fear of heights, and have been mesmorised at your video, especialy THE EDGE, and you climbing up THE VESSEL, and climbing that amazing mountain wow, without your videos its impossible I would ever see those sights, I have a much greater understanding of the whole area thanks to you, also your general outlook on life? and living without fear is spot on, I will keep watching your videos, it takes my mind away from the tragedy we are living through right now, im from Manchester England, the closest I got to NYC was flying over in 1996 to change planes at Newark heading for California, maybe? one day I will get the chance to visit? and hopefully meet you to shake your hand and maybe buy you a pizza, keep up the great work Ken
You started the video right near where we live. That corner of 14th and 1st Ave is usually one of the busiest intersections! And that Papaya Dog place is normally open 34 hours a day! It’s been closed since early March when the lockdown started.
👍I really enjoy the narrated tours. Very cool that there is a dedicated cycle way in the middle of the city. I never really quite understood the ban on electric bikes there. Thanks for taking us out in the state of emergency. - Henry
New York has always fascinated me. I watch your videos mostly on TV in Full HD, it feels like you are really there, Loved your driving around & walking videos more Stay safe Take Care, Hope the world will be out of this pandemic soon. 😍 NYC
UNBOXING TOMORROW this is a plandemic, not a pandemic, the one world order has come, and so you will not be able to leave your home without the vaccine or chip, you have to be 6 feet apart to be tracked, and the towers to connect to your microchip is being built during this plandemic. Whatever you do do not take the chip. God bless
UNBOXING TOMORROW we will return to normal life to be sucked back into lockdown in the winter. After that the world will be told they will keep living like this or you have to get the vaccine. If you do not take it you will not be welcomed into stores, and later you will be placed in fema camps. Your chip will contain your bank account info, your licenses, everything. The scary part is if you are protesting, or the government does not like you, they will just turn the chip off.
I used to ride up First all the time, especially home from Washington Square Park, but I went through the UN tunnel from 41st-48th. Had to start at a newly red light to get the jump on the cars as there was no side road in the tunnel but that was FAST.
Great video. Sugesstion: It would be nice that you had a little GPS image in some corner of the screen so we can know where you are anytime in the video.
You missed the emergency entrance to Beth Israel hospital, it was down the block from the main entrance you rode past on 16th street. There you can see the tents for COVID-19 patients etc. The construction area you filmed was just that...Construction and some port-a-potty's for the construction workers.
I've been thinking about bringing a motorized bicycle and trailer and camping equipment and touring new york for about a month just to check it out .not that i would want to live there im from Chicago and hate the cold been in Tampa 22years and yes it's stifling hot 5 months of the year but the rest of the year is pretty ok .
In noticing the refer trailers behind Bellevue Hospital.. I thought how many body's are they going to find in those thousands of apartments in the city.. The news won't be good..
Noticing that most NYC bikers do not wear helmets or use mirrors. Would not think of riding the streets of NYC without both. Is there a logical reason for not using both?
Hey kid, statistically I don't know if it's possible but as far as measuring pollution, I wonder how much better it is with this unfortunate situation that we're in. It has to be at least 1/3 of the pollution that is normally hanging out. I don't know if there's a way to measure that or not but and as far as cleanliness of the street other than mask and gloves oh, I just can't get over people doing that. I mean who does that? Anyway I've never been to New York and I enjoy seeing it through your eyes even though we're going through this it's definitely showing me what New York looks like. And that classic Skyline for some reason is so prominent right now... we all know it will never be the same without the Twin Towers but for some reason it just everything about New York that I've come to know just by reading or listening or watching it's devastating. I can feel it just by watching. I can feel it and that might sound nutty to some people to say that but I definitely don't like the way it makes me feel. You see I'm physically disabled and I can't get around and I live in a small suburb in the duplex. And I do not get past my driveway to see our city and I live in the big city also not quite like New York, but big enough. And I know things are slow moving around here and nothing's really open but I can't see it. I hope everybody does their private part to heal this planet. First if you have to get out and you think you need to take your protection off which is really stupid by the way while you're out and moving around, put them in the damn trash can. Even though a lot of humans are sick it's clearing things up for the animals and they were here first. Payback is a bitch isn't it? Anyway thank you for sharing I'm almost positive you are wearing a mask oh, you better be anyway. Thank you for sharing have a blessed day.
This must have been like the scene on the Titanic when it was sinking but lots of people refused to believe it so they pretended to go out about their business of leisure and travel on a sinking ship while it sank.
But Michael Chin he is definitely not an original NYer cause he still is touring NY. A true original NYer doesn't do tour videos of this disgusting city. This city is made up of people from different states and countries. The real true N.Y. Americans rarely exist anymore . I call these people here just humans living here cause you can't classify them as Americans there humans living in America.
At least there the cars are relatively curtiouse to cyclests . Here in Tampa cars feel bicycles have no rights and will think nothing of hitting you and driving off . The cops will automatically claim the bicycle at fault. Abd bicycle lanes are full of glass and road debris that almost garrenty's a flat . As well most of the cars feel that is their extra lane or personal parking space so here i pretty much have to use side streets and on busy streets the sidewalk .. Question ? How do they feel about motorized bicycles in new york ? Here the cops hate them but alot ride them anyway and if you are pulled over it usualyis a case of ten cop cars strong with guns drawn .they never pull over cars here thats why they drive 80 in a 25 and stop signs and lights do not apply to them .
It's very strange to see empty streets and the few wearing masks. When does it end? Maybe never because it will happen again with something else probably. I hope not but that's what it looks like. This is a very serious and deadly time. Be careful!
Your reality just slapped me across the face. I counted 16 morgue trucks and two disaster s/o command vans in just that one area where you biked around the hospital complex. Please be safe and well!!!

That is a steep steady incline on that bridge.I thought it would never end.
I really like your cycling videos of the NYC area, particularly the narrated ones. And though I'm waaaay out of your locale, it would be great if you ever organized a group cycling ride through the mean city streets of NYC!
Thank you for showing us what a perfectly habitable and serviceable city New York is.

This was a great journey by bike thanks for taking us along 👍🏻🚲
Great channel! Love your “man on the street” POV and the quality of your vids.

Ultra scary visual at 12:15. My heart is in my stomach. I loved that Sobriety Garden 13:12 at Bellevue.
Thanks for the narrated ride AK. Stay safe.
Amazing ride. Thank you so much for showing me a part of NYC I didn't know!!!

Hi Ken, the end is the best part, hehe 😆 take care!
Glad you are being safe while bicycling up First Ave because as we live nearby we can say that there are often accidents.
heart you, kid. so happy i found your channel. will be bingeing you from Annapolis, Maryland ✌🏽

Jeez - my legs were hurting just watching you ride across that bridge ! 🤪
Great video! I actually get a feeling of being there in person, without leaving my house. Thank you AK, and stay safe 👍 👍 👍
It's amazing how big that bridge is driving over it makes it seem small haha
watched all the advertisements to support you!
Thanks for putting out another cycling video. Love these :)
New York has always fascinated me.

Thanks so much Kid, Ure awesome, missing my home currently down south enjoying the sun & heat....🥰

Very, very nice video, made my Sunday morning. Its amazing how great the UN buildings still look, they had to have been built around 70 years ago.
Another great video. Hello from Bay Ridge, Brooklyn
thx 4 the ride AK....I love NYC....esp...Queens
Good to see you back in the saddle x.
I love New York in spring.
Thank you for this videos, really :) 🤍 from Brazil 🙋🏻♀️
the closing music sounds like the music from the movie from "The Exorcist"
Dude! You've seen Diego Maradona on 7:14 ! One of the greatest soccer player of all time!
big city small world!!!!
Whoa!
No, he is banned from the USA
Great video. Sugesstion: It would be nice that you had a little GPS image in some corner of the screen so we can know where you are anytime in the video.
Some of his older videos he used to have a time stamp of the location he was in the comments
Chris thank you , I have not watched all of his videos , they are great, very relaxing

Lovely walk
look at those bikers ignoring the red lights.
Almost like they had health insurance
It’s the apocalypse. There are no rules
More cyclist deaths coming to a street near you.
Whats with all the ladders on the bridge

Thank you, AK!
Hello
Please start doing narrated videos more , because we get to know what's going around and it makes the videos more interesting to watch.
Bellevue takes charity cases too.
I’m Texan, we hate litterbugs. #dontmesswithtexas is our motto. Love your state, don’t litter.
Mr. Langone is one of the founders of Home Depot.
How to you pick your destinations?
In noticing the refer trailers behind Bellevue Hospital.. I thought how many body's are they going to find in those thousands of apartments in the city.. The news won't be good..
Papaya Dog was called Grays Papaya for years..
They are separate entitles. My Dad franchised Papaya King but one of the potential franchisees went out and started Grays.
I am pretty sure I've seen both restaurants when I've been walking around Manhattan.
@@ssadvweld1 ahhh. Probably like Ray's Pizza. Only one original but they all say they are original
Could you go to Woodside next?
Are the trailers for the dead bodies?
Yep - they were provided by FEMA
Keep the vids coming
I like your good videos.
Noticing that most NYC bikers do not wear helmets or use mirrors. Would not think of riding the streets of NYC without both. Is there a logical reason for not using both?
Are you of Oriental descent?
Great video

Are these trails for people that passed away from covid19?
What bike do you have
sad to say but the streets are clean now.
Those guys blew right through the red lights. I guess they don't really like breathing...
Is it mandatory to wear masks on the street and on public transportation in NYC?
People, even if not allowed by the pandemic, have a tendency on the street to be close to each other even on the street.
Maradona at 7:17....
I freaked out too!
This must have been like the scene on the Titanic when it was sinking but lots of people refused to believe it so they pretended to go out about their business of leisure and travel on a sinking ship while it sank.
This IS like the scene on the Titanic...
Need more bro.how about all state?😂
I really like your narrated videos but ActionKid, it would be much better with a little less complaining 🙂
am i the only one who hears that buzzing noise? emmmff
Glad to see you follow traffic law stopping at red but why didnt you criticized the bikers that zoomed past you like you did that pedestrian?
Diego Maradona 7:16

crazy how only the criminals are allowed to be armed in nyc. law abiding people no gun for you
