I am roasting the pork loin as we speak. My apartment does not have a communal grill so I am utilizing the oven. I marinated this for 24 hours and am now roasting and have the carrot and daikon pickling. I am looking forward to this sandwich as are my guests. Your videos are awesome. Keep on inspiring and creating.

relax, dude. it's just a recipe -- a suggestion. he made one version. i'm making one for dinner tonight that uses roasted Cajun white boudin with roasted red bell peppers and pickled jalapeno slices, with a mayo/stone-ground mustard spread mixed with black pepper and celery seeds. and i don't have a baguette, either -- just a store-bought French onion loaf, like a sub roll. it may not be what YOU consider to be kosher or *de rigueur*, but it looks and sounds delectable! in the future, i'm considering making a version with pulled pork, too. just think of this offering as *Banh Mi a la STCGO*.

I do a lot of the recipes from STCG on a decent rotation: substituting the Gluten based stuff for GF. I'm SO SORRY, wee Banh Mi. My other half is SO EXCITED for this tomorrow night....well, because, a decent 24 hr marinade never hurt anyone. Keep on Rockin' STCG. As for tonight, it's fend for myself night. GF Pasta, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, parmesan cheese with a mix of lean ground pork and beef....as a casserole -style dish. Cheap, fun and yum. Thanks again, STCG! The first video I saw of you was the full English breakfast...in London. Brought me back home and into your fold/world. Cheers!!

Nothing better than Bahn mi, yours looks fabulous. I love pate in them though like they do in Vietnam you should try that next time. Mayo one side pate the other 😊

Actually, the fish sauce should never be dismissed! It makes many things good to great. As soon as I saw your marinade, I knew this was an awesome recipe.

I have developed my own unique cajan/curry sausage pasta recipe. Its very easy to make and tastes amazing. I feel like it fits right in with your style of cooking. I would love to see your version of this so I could use some of your ideas to better my own. Thanks! Keep up the great videos!

If you like this Bahn Mi recipe, search for Sam's earlier vids. He does one with chicken that is also amazing. It's from 2014 and I don't know why, but many of his early shows barely got "liked". The chicken got just over 200, while this has 1.7k. I dig them all. Thanks Sam!

How about a tour of your outdoor kitchen and a review of your outdoor cooking equipment. Your channel and content is fantastic by the way!

Mental note - NEVER watch one of his videos after having a meal because: 1) you're going to regret anything you have recently eaten that wasn't in that video, and 2) you're going to be freaking hungry AGAIN! I love Banh Mi sandwiches and this one looked amazing! Keep up the amazing work, and cuddos on not one single bad word being said! ;) I'm not a prude, but found it note worthy.
