11:47 Chef says, "...with cucumber your favorite." 😂😂😂👏👏👏👏 Love your videos, Sonny. I've been having a *Best Ever Food marathon* since I first came across your video (yesterday, lol).
At the beginning when Sonny said $1 Banh Mi I thought he was talking about the one on my channel that I JUST UPLOADED. LOL It's also a $1 banh mi and it's very good too but mine is a little better

I was watching Mickey Chan's Vietnam food adventure and UA-cam recommended Sunny's show. I was immediately hooked, subscribed and have been binge watching for a week now. He looks like Al Bundy and his humor is not over the top. He just hit you in the right spot. Forget network TV, nobody who has any self worth is watching the garbage on network TV anymore. Netflix, if you're watching Sunny's show, he deserves a contract. His format is perfect for you. He can produce a bunch of shows and people like myself will devour it all. Keep making awesome video Sunny. Best of luck to you!
I liked him too. I wonder if he grew up in the US? His English is perfect, although he struggled with a few words so maybe not. ??? I thought he was funny.
Yo, Double S - thank you for an amazing, vicarious trip. My partner and I constantly praise your editing, hosting and sheer bravado. Out of all the amateur and mainstream food reviewe shows, yours is the best we have ever seen (I see you anticipated that with your channel title). Keep up the hard work, take frequent breaks from the editing screen, and never compromise your quality. Oh, and ignore the haters and spoiled children ranting at you from behind their screens, and know there are plenty of adults who see how hard you work and think about your product.
Honeysuckle Blossom Chef Franklin is notorious for overcharging his food. He used to run a Vietnamese restaurant in Hong Kong and the review did complain about the price as well. He said 125gr of duck liver costs about 30-40 dollars . He lies about the price range. I worked in restaurant business too. There's no way supplier quotes the $10 dollar difference in price range like he does. And maybe he also uses high quality pork chop (I'm not an expert in meat, so no comment). I agree with you, $100 for Banh Mi with such quality is way overcharged.
He did said in the video that the 100$ Banh Mi is a special request and not on the menu I think he just mashup all the expensive stuft into the Banh Mi in order for it to be some what ~100$,for the sake of the thumbnail Also there are some extra dishes like fries, caviar and truffle mayonnaise soooo...
I think Kyle is my favourite of your guides so far. His facial expressions and the way he describes the food in such a no-frills manner, ah just lahved watching this one.
Banh mi is so delicious ! For Vietnamese, Banh mi can be a usual food to eat everywhere, everywhen, but you have been helping it to become a international food ! Thank you, 😊😊
I discovered Vietnamese food about 25 years ago in Denver. I fell in LOVE with rice noodle bowls. A few years ago, a Bahn Mi shop opened up near my house. Another major win! Albuquerque has some good Vietnamese restaurants, too. But I miss the options in Denver!
You've bested yourself on this one Bestie! For real, I cannot eat enough of this show. I love how open you are to trying all of these foods that I find both intriguing and weird. Keep up the good work!
cuz he's tryna act cool and funny. that guy with a handkerchief on his head is really annoying and his face is really like always ready to insult anyone if he wants to.
It's called acting, most likely it was scripted to add a bit of comedic relief. maybe you shouldn't watch Sonny's video and go watch other food programs were the host are more serious and snobby if it offends you.
That was so awkward and uncomfortable to watch. Cut it in half next time, or dont have him there. I love your shows Sonny! Your at the top of my search list, you crack me up!. That $100 bahn mi was just super awkward

Banh mi is the best ♡ next time visiting Vietnam we will definitely try some of these to see if there's a difference. I wish they sold banh mi in Bergen (Norway) - here it's typical with whole meal bread/baguetts with shrimp and mayonese or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs - it's nothing like banh mi haha. We do however have something similar to paté in Norway called "leverpostei" (literally translates to liver paste lol). We will try to make a video about weird Norwegian food soon :D
You can try Pate from French. I went to Germany last summer and my uncle took me to French. We went to supermarket and bought 40 French Bread, lots of Pate and just ate some right in the parking lot. My uncle bought some bread for church and then put the rest in the freezer, it still good after. He joke about French and Germany next to each others, but Germany's bread can hurt people as weapon if you leave it out a few days. He said Germany really need to learn how to make bread as good as French.
Hey Sonny, I am commenting just because you asked your fans to do so. I have also watched this video like 10 times so that you get some money from Google ads. Keep these lovely videos coming.
The whole point is to make people go crazy about them not cutting the sandwich! And it worked cuz everyone's comments was about awkwardness of sharing the sandwich!
When I was stationed in Germany. One of the most amazing after drinking foods I ever had was the Dhoner Kebab. Or how ever you spell it lol. But its just a pita bread cut down the middle and then they shove in lamb sliced off the lamb kebabs. And then goats cheese and cucumbers and a white like thousand island dressing. I just kept mine kinda bland to what most people would prefer. But I am a meats and potatoes kinda guy. Just give me the best bits and I am in heaven lol. So on the weekends I would go to the local market to this one Turkish Dhoner shop and usually get one to eat right away and two to take home. I would stash the two extras in my mini fridge in the barracks and then go out drinking beer and what ever showed up in front of me. The two Dhoners in my mini fridge had saved me from horrendous hang overs more times than I can count. I would always come back starving and those delicious bad boys would hit the spot like no other. lol I converted allot of my friends over to doing this as well. The Dhoner Kebab is just so hearty and tasty. And the goats cheese and that sauce they used just tied it together so perfectly. God I miss food in Germany. I miss the beer and the women are stunning as well. Shit I need to stop thinking about this lol. Its really making me wish I was still there.
8:10 its so cute the way that guy went for a second bite... He didn't have much of expression, then suddenly he bites a big chunk of the bread and open his eyes... Yaaaa cute
