- A special on the successes, failures and most of all the person that was Walt Disney. Walt shares first hand of growing up on his farm in Marceline, Missouri, starting his own animation studio and imagining his greatest dream, Disneyland. (Note: This is not the film they show in the "One Man's Dream" exhibit at Disney's Hollywood Studios.)

Happy birthday Walt Disney. A dreamer, entrepreneur, cartoonist, a guy who persisted despite hardship, and simply a man who touched the world and brought smiles to the hearts of many and families in mind. Thank you so much Walt. You're my hero.
Walt Disney will always be in our hearts. And his legacy will live on forever in decades to come.

He made great movies and great theme park before he died. Walt Disney will always be in our hearts for his movies. I'm glad the company is honoring his works and still make great shows and live actions movies that are today.

Me too. But he would probably have already been gone by the time I was born. He was born in 1901 & I was born in 2001. I still love Disney even though I'll be 14 yrs old on Sunday but you can never be to old for Disney. In fact while watching this video I gathered up some of my favourite Disney dolls to watch it with me
& don't listen to a word Aiden Warren says. He's just saying that because he hates Disney or whatever because even though they say Disney is for everybody not everybody likes Disney. Walt was an inspiration to all and for every little child out there. If he was alive today and would see how we have come, I'm sure he would be proud. We miss Walt and love him with all of hearts and I bet he misses us, too.

I'm legit in tears right now, so moved by this man. He was a true leader, a genius, he was so ahead of his time, he was witty, curious and more importantly, gritty. He never gave up, so every time I feel like nothing's going quite right, I take a minute to think about how the world wouldn't have gotten the wonderful world of Disney If he had simply given up and say to myself "you will never know what the world could miss out on If you drop your dreams right here". Thank you, mr Walt. You were a delight.
I just went to Disneyland yesterday and every time I look all around the park. It feels like a second home to me. I’m just amazed what Walter Elisa Disney has done. & thank you for my childhood! You made my childhood complete by making all these Disney movies. Your legacy continues forever 💛 and even thought you are resting now Walt, there not a day that goes by and wish I could of met you in person!

Walt Disney is the number one reason why I wanted to be animator when I grow up.
I may look back at this. It looks interesting as Walt Before Mickey. I'm alright artist. Not a good drawer, but anyone thinks I'm a good drawer that means to me a lot.
Also I would go watch The Pixar Story. It had similar concept to The Walt Disney Story.
I'm here in 2021 reviewing videos I used to watch. I'm only almost 12 but this man had a huge impact on me. He inspired me to put myself put there, write, draw, I even drafted my own little TV show. Lol. I used to be obsessed with his creations. The movies. I may have been born more than 40 years after he died but I owe a lot to Walt. Many of us do. He is always gonna be missed by millions of people across this world. His impact will never be forgotten. Rest Easy Walt ❤🙏

I think Walt was the smart Disney, even though this business was a lot of hard work with lot of worries. I'm sure he had fun with it and great joy of reaching more goals than any man can ever even dream of. I think, with no doubt at all, Walt Disney was the greatest man of the last century, even the last millennium. A genius like him the world get to see only once. God bless his memory! He saved my childhood with all those great cartoons :-)

I always go to the hospitality house when I go to Disney world and watch this movie. It’s a great way to start off your Disney vacation. Not sure it’s still there

I never realized how much of an impact Walt had on the amusement/theme park industry until I began to go to many other parks across the US. I found out that without Disneyland and WDW, places like Carowinds, Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Adventureland, and many other parks might not exist today. Shure Cedar Point is much older that Disneyland but remember, two people bought it out with the intention of turning it into a housing development until they saw the success Walt was having
Don't feel bad Mickey Walt is in a better place and as they all say magic happens when you believe I think he did that to make every one happy. Especially you I two wish he was here to see what he did for all of us.

He moved from Illinois to Marceline Missouri then to Kansas City. Marceline has the Walt Disney Hometown Museum. This is a GREAT documentary.

I am an illustrator and i would of loved to draw for the comapny .. trouble is i live in UK and it would be so hard to move to USA but i visit there a lot and Disney World too and i must of been there 8 times in my life time and i was hoping for end of year again but because of covid19 we sadly couldnt go. I am seriously missing it there and i am so glad my boss is from LA (Utah originally) ... this story is beautiful i sent my boss it as he is a big fan of Walt Disney.
My life was built after Walt Disney came upon films such as Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs or Dumbo or either The Jungle Book and The Lion King but other films such as Pinocchio , 101 Dalmatians , Fantasia , Pocahontas , The Beauty And The Beast , The Little Mermaid , Aladdin, Tarzan ,Brother Bear , Toy Story , Toy Story 2 , Toy Story 3 , The Incredibles , Finding Nemo , Monsters Inc. , Brave , Monsters University , The Lone Ranger , The Prince of Persia and of course Frozen
